Perhaps he/she has and we can't link it here per TOS. Also, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that MSM has tried to contact him/her.

ETA: Did we ever learn if the co-worker was male or female? I can't remember...
MOO
True about the gender, I don't know where that came from. I don't even refer to the VIs as one specific gender.

I see your point, but why put the name into the affidavit? Yes I know it's blackened out, but it was said that it wasn't blacked out right away. Anyway I'm not outing anyone, this is the only comment board I'm on. Except for mean political ones unrelated to murders, lol.

There is info in the affidavit that is blacked out, but in the affidavit witness list, there are only 2 names blacked out at the top and those were speculated to be CW family members. The names of witnesses are still public.

I predict his baby monitor lie will be made a big deal of at the trial.

You cannot see anyone being "blue" on those monitors. And did he zoom in on it? Because it seems from the views I saw that the camera was pretty far away from their faces to even see them that well. Also it seems it changes rooms about every 10 seconds. He says he saw Bella blue and then he saw SW choking CeCe. Just how long did he sit there and look at a blue Bella before it switched to CeCe and SW? 10 seconds is pretty long if you've just seen something wrong with your kid. Wouldn't you immediately run to her? It's all nonsense.

It was important to include, as it was something he repeatedly lied about, until he found himself unable to deny it anymore.

I’m not saying this person isn’t relevant, or important, just that it’s not time to reveal their name.

It’s significant that he spent that last week in N.C. with them too. Something may have happened to fuel his resolve had he just been toying with the idea before. He had experienced a month of freedom and came back into the family fold that last week in N.C. and he may have felt more trapped and desperate.

Then once they were back home for a few days together, he could have become even more agitated-so everything was building up. No wonder she felt ill before going home that night.

One thing that isn’t discussed much is the fact that Bella was supposed to start kindergarten THAT Monday and not the NEXT Monday that he claimed to the press. Could that have added to pressure as well? Surely that’s a milestone day for most parents and Bella would have naturally eagerly anticipated this too.

Had she started school and suddenly been absent later in the week, the school may have notified them (my kids school calls any day they don’t show up). In not showing up for her first day, it’s kind of like she hasn’t started. Some kids don’t come to school the first few days and this was an early, August start date so perhaps the school wouldn’t have been concerned, but had she started and then not come in on following days they may have made inquiries with the parents.

Not sure if he was bright enough to consider this, as he clearly wasn’t caring about SW’s missed doctors appointment. However, it’s my understanding that this was a private school, so a deposit had likely been made for tuition, and they were eventually expecting her to show up.

Just some other triggers to consider.
I guess he's going to learn the true meaning of "trapped" now. :)

Serena, where did you see that Bella was supposed to start school that same Monday, and not the next Monday? Not that I know any differently, just that I thought it was the following week.
What was it CW said in the interview about Bella starting kindergarten? It was in the past tense, like he knew it wouldn't happen.

Exactly- why is her name on the affidavit, even redacted, unless she is involved in some way? But someone else made a good point about her being threatened/in danger if her name got out...what if that's why they have the autopsy results sealed- because the autopsy showed that the pattern of bruising around the girls' necks was consistent with a hand size smaller than CW's, ie, a woman's? He says SW did it- no sane person would think that a mother like SW would kill her daughters for any reason- so people would automatically be looking at AP, but without solid evidence to charge AP, and with CW claiming it was SW and not AP, they can't arrest her?

It's a bit Perry Mason-ish haha, but perhaps they're waiting until court, to try to trip him/her up on their testimony? He's already shown he's not a good liar.

(And your comment about mean political comment boards made me laugh!)

<modsnip - if it can't be linked, it can't be mentioned> I agree that she should be left alone. I would assume she's horrified and if she's not or was there that night LE will have all of those details and we will find out at some point. I don't believe she had anything to do with the murders.

I think so too- unless LE knows she was there at the house that night, and that's why she's on the witness list. Based on everything we know of his personality and habits prior to the day/night of the murders, he seemed like the kind of guy that would be chivalrous, gallant, etc- like that was how he was raised to be, the southern gentleman, the kind that would take the blame for something to protect his woman. If AP was involved in the deaths of the girls, and he loves AP or AP is pregnant, I could see them agreeing that she would just say "yes, they were arguing and I left" - she would need to be a witness to testify, and so the courts would protect her identity.

If CW was chivalrous at any time in his life, that went out the window when he starting having an affair on his wife. And most definitely went out the window when he murdered his wife and unborn. And absolutely went out the window when he dumped his girls in oil tanks.

The only person CW was willing to protect, IMO, is himself. Jmo

Pardon me for barging in here, carrying over from last thread, I just want to make sure I’m understanding it correctly that SUPPOSEDLY (according to AB), on July 4th, 2018, SW saw texts between CW and his GL (gay lover)? Implying that's when SW found out about their affair? TIA

I think he was telling the truth about seeing Bella being blue... because that’s how she looked when he let go of her throat.

This may not be contributing anything to the thread, but I find myself uninterested in his version of the story. I think whatever he said is a lie, a fiction, so there’s nothing to analyze!

But it’s interesting to see the sleuths here analyzing the details — and I’m in awe of the collective brainpower here.

It’s a very curious comment on his part, and it may have a basis in truth.

It’s either a complete lie, or she did turn blue as he strangled her to death.

next Monday could be to him the up coming Monday IMO many people use the word next to imply the upcoming
If it was the Monday that they 'vanished' why would he use next Monday for a day that had already passed?

Yes I totally agree if Bella looked blue it was from after he killed her, not because he saw her on the monitor. I hate saying this but maybe when he went back in to get her body to take to the oil vat she looked blue to him at that point. I would hope that it haunts him everytime he remembers it.

I do wonder why he chose the baby monitor story. I don't believe it for a second but there's some reason he spoke about the baby monitor.

But he knew she was supposed to have started the day before and he STUMBLES and stutters over it when he says it. “Bella was gonna start school, uh, like next, uh, next Monday. They were both getting ready to start back.” He did not confuse his child’s first day of kindergarten as happening next week. It just made things more complicated if that was clear everyone, therefore the qualifying “they were both getting ready to start back” citing no specific day.

I’ve always been so hung up on the fact that he slipped and said WAS, indicating that she WAS never going to start because she was dead. And this AFTER he had dumped them both in crude oil being the reason for it. He totally knew what he was doing, he was just doing a piss poor job of it.
Yes, if he really thought they were missing he would have said, Bella is supposed to be in school right now, or she missed her first day of kindergarten, or something like that. I had no idea they were killed the day before. I assumed it was the next week too. Maybe he did intend to kill them before school started, and that was the last day he could do it. To think that Bella was excited about school and instead she was murdered is so horrible. I would think SW would have gone straight to bed as she was so tired, and now the idea that he would wake her up to tell her he wanted a separation at 4:00 in the morning on the first day of school is even more ridiculous. The autopsy report is directly related to these murders and is a matter of public record.

It’s wrong to out someone who as far as we know, isn’t involved in the crime.

At trial, she may be very important. But not here and now.

Agreed.

Is that the only source of what we know about when kinder started? He said past tense as in "was going" to start, but said the next Monday, iirc. I don't know if she referred to it in her video posts.

Because it puts physical distance between him and the killings of the kids. It explains how she had enough time to do what he claims she did.

It means that by the time he arrived on scene, the kids were dead, and beyond saving.

He almost makes himself out to be a hero, rushing into the room after seeing what she was doing, and trying to stop her.

Yes - they are limited to the statutory reason for sealing - and I have never seen this argument (regarding the jury) be successful before

The other reason was they said they had to do interviews for their investigation that had not been completed. It will be very interesting if the defense came back, and asked if the investigations are finished, and the prosecution said no they have not finished. Therefore the defense would think oh my gosh who are they still wanting to interview?

Absolutely agree! I think its quite possible that CW was enjoying his buff new body and the attention it was getting him, probably from men and women. Perhaps he was experimenting and wanted to try different things. IMO. I don't know if the gay male AP is legit or not, but if he has handed over CW's dna evidence left on towels:eek: to LE, AND its proven to belong to CW, then the male AP is likely legit. MOO.

Regarding the BBM. Didn't I read that CW had a gym membership? Or am I confusing this with another case? I was thinking that towels with CW's DNA could have come from the gym. If a man wanted to claim an affair or (blackmail him) it would not be too hard to watch CW and pick up his sweaty towel from the locker room. Or find a way into his gym locker and get his towel out. Or perhaps when CW was going to the gym was when he was seeing his APs and that is where the towel came from (AP might have kept it in his locker for some reason?). It could go either way IMO as far as the towel verifying the affair. At this point, I still need to see additional evidence like texts or witnesses who saw them together before I believe it. MOO.
