Right, since her suitcase was not brought upstairs I'm thinking it happened as soon as she got home. I would think she would need something in it and would want it brought upstairs. Jmo

That sounds like a good possibility but I’m confused about why he would take the fitted sheet off their bed to wrap her in. She might have been killed in the bed and the sheet then wrapped around her body.

Jumping of your post, Serena.....
IF he told his AP that he and SW were separated (or going to separate), what reason do you think he gave for going to be with his family in NC? Wouldn't the AP wonder about this?

Who knows? For all he/she knew he never left CO. I remember a relationship where my significant other would tell me he had to go “to Florida” for business one week and then tell the woman he was cheating on me with that he was going away “to Florida” the next week, alternating between us when he never left town at all.

She/he may have also been told the truth too-it seems odd that if it was a co-worker that the AP didn’t realize that he still had marital obligations. We have no idea what their relationship was like but it may not have been a traditional arrangement either.

Are there photos of the loft area anywhere on SW's social media? I've looked at the house floor plans before and now I'm confused on the layout. TIA.
Big second story to their home, girls bedrooms adjacent, master bedroom/bath across from there, and a loft, or "living or great" room in between. Staircase that leads up to second floor opens to the loft. I cannot find it but there are floor plans here on WS and a member here was nice enough to flip them so they actually match the direction their house faced.

Agree. The AP may have been seeing other people as well since she couldn't even visit the mansion and after work playtime for an hour wasn't as fun no more.
What mansion?

Does anyone know what the time-off policy was for CW's job? Would he have to ask for the week off to go to NC a certain amount of time in advance? For example, some jobs require a month's notice and some jobs require you put in for vacation time at the start of the year so that not everyone takes vacation the same week. Or was his job flexible enough he could tell his boss the week before that he needed to go to NC? Whatever the policy is, I'm thinking his coworker AP would know it and his story for why he was going to NC would have to fit with that.

She may have taken the sheet and phone to lay on the loft couch while he was in the middle of his emotional conversation. Idk. Just throwing spaghetti at the wall for the moment.

I don't believe a psychiatric evaluation is mandatory unless he pleads diminished capacity or some other psychological reason.
That makes sense. Although I'm thinking there has to be something wrong with him. I guess it doesn't matter in terms of what he is accused of, so we may not find out.

Or maybe he used the sheet to drag all thee of them to the garage to load them up. I do believe he was pressed for time. MOO

There are so many possibilities. As a funny aside, I have been meaning to say that I can't help but read all your posts as the character's voice of Dexter in my head. It comes across as both authoritative (he knew his forensics and killing!) and deadpan for your humor. Has me thinking maybe I should have chosen James Earl Jones or something so I could have the voice of God backing my statements ;)

Why would she have to have had the sheet near her when she was killed? He probably just used whatever was easy and convenient. The sheet off the bed makes sense. Jmo

Lol at spaghetti. So she takes the bottom sheet off the bed to use on the couch and tells him to remake the bed for himself? o_O Why wouldn't she get clean sheets from the linen closet for herself instead of taking the one he had previously slept on and gotten his body sweat all over? I think you need to keep cooking that spaghetti, lol. It's not quite sticking for me. :p:D

I have always believed that she was killed in her bed and he just wrapped her up in the bottom sheet that she was lying on.

Thank you. I wonder how specific it is, and if it only involves determining if he understands right from wrong, or is capable of understanding what he is accused of. I'm more interested in finding out if he has a Narcissistic or Antisocial Personality Disorder, and whether those specific tests have to be ordered and if a reason for the request has to be approved.

The tests do have to be ordered by a judge, and there does have to be a reason: the person's mental state must be at issue in the case. So basically, tests cannot just be ordered for no reason or to try and prove something that doesn't exist. And most definitely (I know others had asked), no test will be ordered post-mortem to "diagnose" SW. The poor thing, man. Can't catch a break even in a grave...

I think it will definately be a factor in determing whether or not his story is true, imo. It is the way in which he witnessed the actual crime.. how could it not be important?
Exactly MsBetsy, the monitors will play a huge role in CW's defense, it's the reason he went into a rage and entered the girl's bedroom and strangled SW to death, the monitor was the 'witness'.
CW says the children were dead, he couldn't have one alive and he couldn't be standing in the room watching SW strangle the girls. JMO

I would question why, if he just saw his wife murder his girls, he would choose to wear something she bought him. If my husband killed my kids, I wouldn't even want his underwear drawer near me in the house.

I have wondered if he only said SW had bought it, and if maybe the AP was the actual giver of the shirt. Like posing for her, an inside secret. But maybe I'm getting too suspicious.

Yes, it also makes sense that he would wait until she fell asleep. That might explain why he didn't leave to dump the bodies until 5:27. But he also may not have wanted to leave too early as to look suspicious. Jmo

I believe the AP being married began as rumor. Ive never seen it legitimately confirmed.

Me too, unless and until there is evidence otherwise. I also think she was probably face-down when he strangled her.
MOO

Yes this makes the most logical sense to me. Otherwise, there's no reason for him to ruin a perfectly good set of sheets by taking one piece (the bottom sheet) to the dumpsite. There are other things in the house that would have been more convenient for simply wrapping the body or covering the bodies up in his truck if SW's death occurred outside the bedroom/downstairs.
