There are going to be members of the jury who are very familiar with baby monitors who won't automatically assume CW is lying. Just calling him a liar isn't going to be a very effective prosecution tactic. JMO

The state is not going to call him a liar for saying he saw the baby looking blue on the monitor unless they do a test of that monitor, in that same light, and see if it is possible or not.

For some reason, these floor plans made me really sad. I’m sure the day they closed on the house and then later brought their first newborn home to her nursery, they could never imagine the evil that would destroy everything.

How did this happen? Do all of us have this deep dark side that could be unleashed? Of course we all say no not me. But I bet 5 yrs ago, that CW would be horrified by what he would become.

Those photos are from the real estate listing. I'm assuming it's the furniture from before the Watts bought the house. I have seen very different furniture in their SM photos but I have not looked closely before to try to figure out which sofa is where. I know they do have a leather one. It's the one in the the creepy doll photo. But I can't tell from that doll photo where the sofa is in the house.

I thought that it was a new build for them.

Why would she have to have had the sheet near her when she was killed? He probably just used whatever was easy and convenient. The sheet off the bed makes sense. Jmo

Why not get a new sheet from he linen closet? I cannot believe that they had only one set of sheets

It comes down to credibility. He’s proven he will lie to save his own behind. It stands to reason then, if he pleads not guilty and this goes to trial, that he will continue to lie to try and save his own behind. His very freedom and/or his very life will be at stake. He has every reason to continue to lie.

He proved on his front porch he’s willing to do just that, so why should anyone believe him now? Nothing has changed, in fact he has even more reason to lie now. Now they have evidence against him. He needs to lie even harder.

He has no credibility. He’s not an honest, decent, upstanding citizen. He never even called 911. He was having an affair. He dumped his babies bodies in oil to hide them. He only gave this “story” when he had nowhere else to go, as LE linked him to to the disposal.

It’s not like he came forward with his “truth” of his own free will, he only presented this story when he was backed into a corner.

He gives me no reason at all to believe he’s telling the truth now.

Being a liar isn't proof of murder. The videos don't prove CW lied about what he saw on the monitor nor do they prove he murdered the children. That is a pretty serious burden of proof. JMO

As to the bolded, it all depends upon what one is lying about. If someone is lying about overspending on new shoes, or lying about whether they grsdusated from college or not, it certainly isn't proof of murder.

But if someone lies to LE about the dead babies that one has hidden on their work site, and lied to everyone for days, about their whereabouts, then it could very well be evidence of involvement in their murder.

Thanks. I already figured it out from others posting the real estate listing and the floor plans. I would still like to see photos of the loft area from SW's social media however. AB said the sofa was a leather one and therefore hard for the phone to accidentally get between the cushions but I'm not sure if that leather sofa is actually located in their loft or if it is elsewhere in the house (they have two downstairs living areas plus a finished basement). Are there photos that make it clear where that sofa is located or that are clearly of the loft area? TIA.

This is the leather sofa. AB mentions it is in the loft area in this video but you can't see the full layout of the landing from the image (about 1.20mins in). Others may be able to provide better pics that aren't as cropped in.

I don't think that CW is too intelligent. If he planned this out, it was sloppy. If he didn't plan it out, he still had time from 3 am to 5 am, to clean up. Unless we have been wrong on the timeline.

I don't know that CW will testify. I really didn't follow the Arias trial.

If his wife had verifiable records that she had mental health issues, and friends and family to corroborate that, and he was innocent, and really did catch her in the act of killing the babies, why wouldn't he testify to that?

When I take the sheets of my bed to wash them, it is a hassle. Everything is folded down nice and tightly.

And with them it looked like they may have had blankets and duvet? To me, easier to go to the linen closet.

IDK. If that's the case, why would there be real estate photos from 2012 showing furniture that is different from theirs? And paint colors that are very specific and don't match what they painted the house later? They could be the first owners and it could be staging furniture but the paint colors seem rather specific IMO. We know from Shanann's baby blog that they painted Bella's room a light lavender color and installed crown molding and chair rail. There is no crown molding nor chair rail in the purple bedroom shown. And the orange bedroom has Bronco's items in it-- a team I have not seen the Watt's support in any of their posts (they are either Steelers or Carolina fans):

Not if she was already lying on it. I have never had any trouble getting the fitted sheet off. As soon as you release one corner, it gets slack.
