Absolutely! She knew. Somehow she knew. And I wonder what she showed the police (a text?) to convince them to act as quickly as they did.

Ugggghh. I hate to think of how painful that moment was when she realized something bad was happening. She was probably anxious and worried from the second she watched her friend walk in that door. I’m sure once the cops got there they took her aside and she was probably frantic. She knew. :(

I think something happened during the trip that caused SW to become alarmed before they even arrived back. Perhaps he refused to let her Facetime with the children or was ignoring her phone calls altogether.

Yes, and that just goes to show that she was pretty high earning. They don’t give them to people who aren’t selling enough.

Yep. I think a lot of the SM stuff had to do with that as well. Le-vel sells itself as a "lifestyle" and, as such, they encourage their "promoters" to show themselves living the good life. I have a friend who does very well selling a similar product. Her company gives their people manuals that actually help them make SM posts. It basically tells them what to say: OMG, I woke up feeling amazing thanks to...etc. Now that she is at a higher level she is also earning the trips. It sounds like fun, but I am no salesperson and it appears to be very hard to keep that level going. (Plus, I become automatically suspicious when someone tries to sell me something.)

A couple of things to note. There are errors in this article but I posted it because apparently there are others like me that think her success really peed off CW.

Another error that is reported all over the place is that she has been selling Thrive only since 2015 when in fact she had been selling it since January of 2013. I think for tax purposes and bankruptcy filings it was not mentioned. This is easily verified by her own postings on her Instagram account. In consecutive months she verifies this. In April 2015 she states she has been selling Thrive for 27 months and in March she states 26 months.

Did Shanann Watts's sudden financial success drive a fatal wedge into her marriage with Chris?

Interesting! So at some point in 2016 she started being more successful and started seeing results from it.

I just watched this video on someone’s blog about how the commissions are calculated for this program. If you want to watch, skip ahead 7 minutes. This girl only calculated 3 levels of commissions and Shanann was able to get commissions 8 levels deep. So while this doesn’t discuss her income specifically it gives an idea of how those at the top can make this work for them.

Agree 1000%

Hugs my friend. Because some of these folks don't understand exactly the totality of the actual meaning that you just posted. Much obliged.

Thank you so much. Your response tells me that you do indeed understand.

If I recall from Wednesday when I first heard about this, I saw something SOMEWHERE (aka I can’t find it again) that had a friend or someone saying the only tbings missing besides the people were the girls’ baby blankets. I haven’t seen it referenced again. Does anyone know about that?

I read that, too, somewhere early on. I imagine Bella was attached to her blanket like a lovie. The video, by Shanann, where they are leaving NC after six weeks shows Bella in her car seat sad because she is leaving her grandparents and uncle. She is nuzzling her face into a small blanket. If it was her lovie she probably took it everywhere for comfort. Shanann's good friends like Nicole would probably know, right away, if it was missing. JMO. MOO.

Wow. I didn’t realize he had a Twitter account and it looks like he was on his account Sunday to like a post.

Edited to specify it was Sunday night!
I noticed this too!

Even the trips are usually a scam. They will cover the hotel room, but not airfare, transportation, food, drinks, etc. So you essentially get a $1500 hotel room voucher after you sell $50k worth of products.

Some MLMs also pressure you into reinvesting nearly all of your profits back into inventory. I have a few friends who made ok money for a couple of years and as the trend faded they were left with tons of unsellable inventory. There are a number of class action lawsuits and a number of MLMs dissolved after inquiries by the SEC.

I lost quite a number of Facebook friends when I posted this warning from the Securities Exchange Commission but it is worth reading and sharing: SEC.gov | Beware of Pyramid Schemes Posing as Multi-Level Marketing Programs

Yep, that is why I put "earn" in parantheses.

This. There was a reason why her friend was frantic when she couldn't reach Shanann the next day, and was able to convince LEO to get involved so quickly. Something. It is unusual for a welfare check on an adult, even with 2 children missing a few hours.

He may of loved all the perks that they enjoyed but got sick of being Mr. Mom and Mr.SW.....
Lazy is what I take. JMOO
Tots have tantrums, lots of energy. Could he have killed them with peanuts knowing it would kill them? No sympathy for him but some guys are horrible caregivers for babies. Every night on news men kill children. Wife comes home goes nuts about where are the babies...wham she's gone also and he's actually happy??

My abusive ex used to get extra nasty and start a fight or break something of mine if I got "too happy." Meaning, laughing aloud at TV or doing my chores and singing, or coming home from shopping or an outing...:( Thank GOD I was able to leave him 15 years ago, but the hurts still seem fresh sometimes.

I think we were involved with the same man LOL When I first met him he told me that he loved my positive outlook on life and how I always seemed happy and ready to take on anything. Fast forward a year and those very same things seemed to set him off into some insane manic tantrums. Talk about feeling like you are living on Crazy Street. Me being the stubborn person I am and not willing to change who I am for anyone else refused to act otherwise. Problem is when you are around a grouchy easily set off man you are not always as happy as you once were. I have no doubt if we had stayed together I would be dead. I was never one to back down and he had this overbearing need to control and conquer. After the relationship ended I often wondered if that was what it was about for him...the things he said he loved about me were in fact the very things he wanted to take away from me. I was just stronger in personality and more confident in myself then he was and was able to walk away.

Someone mentioned that arms closed and rocking might be mommy issues. I agree. But, I did see duper's delight. Just like Susan Smith, that another WSer mentioned. His voice even cracked just like Susan's voice.

I don't think he is a compete psychopath, but I saw no grief. Yet, at his hearing, very concerned and serious. So I think there was some kind of pre-meditation. Maybe not completely planned out....but fantasized about.

He wanted the last word and he got it. Just because he might have been low key does not exclude domestic violence. My 2 cents.

I have him pegged as a narcissistic sociopath.

And his daughters killing by him was about what?

Exactly. With the babies out of the picture, along with his pregnant wife, he's totally free to move on to a new life. Or so he thought.

Yes, I think he used his wife as a vessel to expand his own social circle not capable of doing it on his own. I also think he was lazy just as SW hinted to on her SM.

As far as the kids go...reading SW's SM apparently the youngest girl Celeste was high energy, willful and difficult to discipline according to her mom. CW basically said the same thing during his interview which honestly I thought was odd and inappropriate at that time. I can't recall exactly what he said but it was the way he said it and stating she was just like her mom followed by his comparing her to Bella (which he likened to himself) who he said was calm. I thought hey buddy your kids are missing and your choosing favorites here. Just sounded so out of place to me.

Just jumping off your pic...
I hope Shannan gave him a few scrapes bruises pinches and bites. Would be interesting to know if any areas on his body that we can't see are showing wounds from Shannan.

The way he holds his side makes me wonder if she nailed him in the ribs. ? I hope so!!!
