When my mother died very suddenly, our dog never stopped looking for her. It was pretty tough. It makes it very hard for me for to think about Dieter. Poor little guy always waiting for his people.

Overselling of his aptitude. This may have been addressed, but does anyone know why CW did not ever get to be a NASCAR mechanic if he was such a stellar student at their vocational school?
My feeling is that he never lived up to his potential. Or let go of the dream. I wonder how much it bothered him, if at all. Maybe he resented it. Or just changed his mind. Nah, he just was not as smart as he thought he was.My feeling is that he never lived up to his potential. Or let go of the dream. I wonder how much it bothered him, if at all. Maybe he resented it. Or just changed his mind. Jmo

I don't know if it's typical behavior, but Dunham took all the family photos he was in. I've never seen that particular aspect included in any studies.

BBM I don't believe he is hurting. If he feels bad, then I think it is from self pity.
thanks for reply marli appreciate your thoughts.I see where you are coming from, but for me it's like this: If he could just discard them quickly somehow, ie toss them quickly over the edge..boom.. gone.. boom.. gone. But.to.have.to.push.shove.squash.twist.... that takes time & thought about each next move to get his precious little baby's body through a hole... either way is horrific.. but to me the latter is much worse. MOO IMO
Excellent post!Yes, but would he be hurting from his actions if he were not arrested and charged? If he managed to hide the corpses better with more time and there would be insufficient evidence to accuse him? Or would he have married another woman, had another family? I believe some sort of karma would have gotten him, somehow, on this earth and before eternity, but he might have killed more before it happened.
He is hurting because he lost everything - his freedom, his job and his family. Sitting in jail, he is missing them, surely, I doubt he has many visitors. But he is mourning himself. He has no capacity to mourn anyone else.
They talked about CW's fan club on AB's show today too.Two interesting facts.
1) CW is using the defence strategy of Christian Longo. It did not work for Longo.
2) Mark Barton had an affair, killed his wife and her mother, was let go because of insufficient evidence, married the woman he had the affair with, got the insurance money and lost it, then several years later killed his second wife (who was the reason for the homicide of his first family, that is).
APs! It is dangerous to marry people like CW, even if they escape the law and you think that they suffered because of their love for you. They did not kill because of you, they were satisfying own egos.
Ladies who fall in love with family annihilators and serial killers, write letters to them and even marry them! It is a very dangerous game that you are playing. These guys are deadly.
Exactly what I was thinking. The Bible and the picture....they are for show.A bit of staging by his defence team.

9. CW has fans. Women have been writing love letters to him, claiming to have called his parents, saying his parents love him and still support him. People from all over the world are reaching out to him. A psychologist explains these women as insecure, and they’re seeking power and affiliation.

I think I have a 'normal' amount of empathy, I try to put myself in another person's shoes and find a logical reason for their actions. We know he's not innocent - he confessed to killing his wife and unborn son. That's why he hid the bodies and lied about it. I'm not willing to convict CW for murdering his daughters without more evidence. For me personally, I would feel horrible if I wrongly accused somebody of such a horrendous and unthinkable crime without more evidence. I realize not everyone feels the same way and some have no problem saying horrid comments about him murdering his daughters, but it doesn't feel right for me to do that. Maybe I'm naive, have too much empathy, too soft hearted or just plain wrong. I don't know....it's just doesn't feel right for me.
