This may have been addressed, but does anyone know why CW did not ever get to be a NASCAR mechanic if he was such a stellar student at their vocational school?

When my mother died very suddenly, our dog never stopped looking for her. It was pretty tough. It makes it very hard for me for to think about Dieter. Poor little guy always waiting for his people.

And also, poor SW's relatives. To look at the only thing left from their daughter's and sister's family.

When my seven month old child died and was not around anymore, my two and a half year old child, I am sure, by her comments, thought that I had just thrown her away.

Overselling of his aptitude.

My feeling is that he never lived up to his potential. Or let go of the dream. I wonder how much it bothered him, if at all. Maybe he resented it. Or just changed his mind. Jmo

From what we’ve seen and discussed I’ve seen no reason for the prosecutor to reduce or drop any charges. Chris’ disposal of his family says clearly that he killed them all. Of course it might be possible to argue that he dumped them to protect someone else but he would still be an accessory after the fact IMO.

MOO at last.

Nah, he just was not as smart as he thought he was.

I’m so sorry. I’m not giving that a like to like it. My sibling’s very young kids had the same kind of confusion when one of their parents died.

I don't know if it's typical behavior, but Dunham took all the family photos he was in. I've never seen that particular aspect included in any studies.
10 Notorious Cases of Familicide - Oddee

Two interesting facts.

1) CW is using the defence strategy of Christian Longo. It did not work for Longo.

2) Mark Barton had an affair, killed his wife and her mother, was let go because of insufficient evidence, married the woman he had the affair with, got the insurance money and lost it, then several years later killed his second wife (who was the reason for the homicide of his first family, that is).

APs! It is dangerous to marry people like CW, even if they escape the law and you think that they suffered because of their love for you. They did not kill because of you, they were satisfying own egos.

Ladies who fall in love with family annihilators and serial killers, write letters to them and even marry them! It is a very dangerous game that you are playing. These guys are deadly.

From Layla123's Summary of today's AB show:

6. CW loaded bodies into back seat of his work truck. How did police find the oil field where CW took them? The “1139” on the back window of CW’s truck makes it look like it’s part of a company fleet. (See photo of 1139 on CW’s truck) It is very likely that the Police were able to get tracking information about CW’s whereabouts off his work truck from Anadarko on that morning SW and the children first went missing. AB discovered that Anadarko uses the Rovr device (realtime operational vehicle reporting) to track company trucks. Rovr tracking features are 1. Real-time Movements. 2. Weekly Driver Scorecards. 3. Trip Reports. This system can tell when C.W. arrived at oil field, how long he was there, and when he left. LE had a drone at the site and discovered the abandoned sheet and the freshly dug shallow grave before CW’s confession . It’s possible that CW could have disconnected the Rovr device, but Anadarko would have been notified immediately if he did. These devices are nearly 100% reliable.

Looks like they will also know if he was speeding on his way home.

I'm so sorry you lost your mother, and I'm sorry for your little dog guy, too, MKZoo.

BBM I don't believe he is hurting. If he feels bad, then I think it is from self pity.

I believe that, and that he thinks it is all SW's fault that any of this ever happened.

I see where you are coming from, but for me it's like this: If he could just discard them quickly somehow, ie toss them quickly over the edge..boom.. gone.. boom.. gone. But.to.have.to.push.shove.squash.twist.... that takes time & thought about each next move to get his precious little baby's body through a hole... either way is horrific.. but to me the latter is much worse. MOO IMO
thanks for reply marli appreciate your thoughts.

from my viewpoint, there is nothing worse than him killing those kids....the disposal really is a means to an end simple as that.
part of the cover up.
how he got them into the tank doesn't change the motivation, intent or reality of what happened.

the lingering issue in my mind is how could he come up with such an incredible place to hide them......on the spot???heat of the moment.....

I 100% dont think so and there lays plenty of premeditation or more to the point......PRE PLANNING.

Yes, but would he be hurting from his actions if he were not arrested and charged? If he managed to hide the corpses better with more time and there would be insufficient evidence to accuse him? Or would he have married another woman, had another family? I believe some sort of karma would have gotten him, somehow, on this earth and before eternity, but he might have killed more before it happened.

He is hurting because he lost everything - his freedom, his job and his family. Sitting in jail, he is missing them, surely, I doubt he has many visitors. But he is mourning himself. He has no capacity to mourn anyone else.
Excellent post!

They talked about CW's fan club on AB's show today too.

9. CW has fans. Women have been writing love letters to him, claiming to have called his parents, saying his parents love him and still support him. People from all over the world are reaching out to him. A psychologist explains these women as insecure, and they’re seeking power and affiliation.

That makes sense! Who else would want to be in a murderer's fan club?!

@Tippy Lynn
We know he's not innocent - he confessed to killing his wife and unborn son. That's why he hid the bodies and lied about it. I'm not willing to convict CW for murdering his daughters without more evidence. For me personally, I would feel horrible if I wrongly accused somebody of such a horrendous and unthinkable crime without more evidence. I realize not everyone feels the same way and some have no problem saying horrid comments about him murdering his daughters, but it doesn't feel right for me to do that. Maybe I'm naive, have too much empathy, too soft hearted or just plain wrong. I don't know....it's just doesn't feel right for me.
jmo
I think I have a 'normal' amount of empathy, I try to put myself in another person's shoes and find a logical reason for their actions.

I can't imagine doing what CW did if his claim is true. CW hasn't got a criminal record where one more misdeed would land him in jail. There isn't a logical reason behind him discarding the bodies and covering for SW. There isn't a logical reason for him strangling SW to death, there are hundreds of women who've survived strangulation, he could have stopped and called 911.

There must be a reason for CW wanting SW dead. It's not reasonable he killed her for killing the girls because he sure as heck didn't care about discarding their bodies like rubbish. So CW instantly disconnected from his children once they were dead? Or did CW disconnect from his children while they were alive?

CW could've stayed home and thought and grieved but he went straight into cover up mode. It's not a reasonable response for a person innocent of a crime, a crime he says SW committed, there'd be evidence of who killed the girls. SW's finger and hand impressions and long fingernails would no doubt leave evidence on her babies necks. CW would see these with his own eyes.

Imo, CW isn't worth crying over, but he deserves a fair trial and afaik, we're unable to convict him on WS, lol. The defense at this stage has to believe his story until there isn't a reason to anymore. I'm pretty confident this is where it's heading.
