Yes. She made just as much, if not more than he did. If anyone would have been upset that night, it would have been CW. I don't think he wanted to loose the cushy vacations, his car payment being made, and the lifestyle he had become accustomed to. I think he wanted to have his cake and eat it too. When the party was over, and the cake was gone (or leaving), he was the one who became upset and strangled the life right out of her. Therefore, in his mind, it was easier to murder and collect the life insurance for each of them. He would have some cash, and no responsibilities. Pretty attractive reason to kill, in his mind.

I’m not even convinced that all those things played into it. I just think he wanted a new life, and picked the worst possible way to achieve it.

The public have already lost interest, there's been a massacre at a Pittsburgh synagogue, total of 11 victims. I can't imagine CW is rated higher in the most hated man alive scale. If CW were out on bail and using SM, he might receive some hateful comments, at most. It's a ridiculous suggestion CW's safety is a concern, imo. :facepalm:

That’s a shame. I suppose you kind of open the door to that kind of thing when you kill your family.

They should leave it to the justice system though.

In the end I think this will turn out to be exactly what it looks like today. A self absorbed, lying, murdering, cheating FA that thought he could outsmart everyone. A cruel person who put Bella, CeCe, Nico, and Shannan in those horrific graves in the monstrous way that he did. He is who has shown himself to be.

While it's hard to imagine, there are those capable of committing exactly this crime, doing exactly what he did. He's living proof.

And if this goes to trial loving wife, mother, and friend Shannan will be dragged through the mud by the defense. But I don't think they will succeed. Common sense will prevail. Logic will prevail. And he will be found guilty.

And maybe they'll use whatever is in that protected filing containing HIPPA info to save his life at sentencing. He'll get life and never see the light of day again.

I would really like to know that as well. There have been insinuations that SW was a desperate woman. It was stated she kept posting on his fb page and that's why he deleted his fb page. He was apparently disgusted she was doing this because he had told her he wanted out and she wouldn't stop posting. And now she was planning a romantic getaway? LOL.

What I can see is a woman who calmly and quietly took her two little girls to see her family in NC for several weeks, and while she was there, it has been stated there was talk that there was going to be a separation. This tells me she knew the marriage was over.

It's JMO that she returned to Colorado because she had obligations there. She had a business to run, and Bella was about to start school. A woman who was trying to do the right thing would return. SW had no reason (or rights) at the time to keep CW away from their daughters.

I'm not seeing desperation in SW. I'm sure it would have been her preference to have had a decent husband who didn't cheat on her and who wasn't about to break the hearts of her little girls and damage their childhoods, but I'm not seeing that SW had much choice because CW was doing his own thing. I do think SW was intelligent enough to know that she could not turn a pigs ear into a silk purse.

In light of what CW handed to her, it appears to me SW was handling herself with much dignity and self-respect. There are no reports that she bad-mouthed CW to their friends and I don't recall seeing any crazy posts on FB disparaging CW, either. If she knew of the affair, and I believe she did find out, she could have gone to town disparaging him for doing this to her when she was pregnant with a child he'd asked for and with two little girls who weren't even in school yet.

Only partly in jest here but any FB group calling for his blood is probably in response/a backlash to the numerous other FB groups that rally around him while trashing SW and lying all the blame at her feet. These groups are numerous and nauseating.

Why is it impossible to see SW had a motive? I find it plausible she had several.
1. Divorce
Woman have killed husbands that left them
2.money
She had a lot to lose
The exact reasons CW had motive are the same for her

Poor guy. His attorneys should get him bail with info from the autopsy reports so he can hide away safely in peace before he's locked up for good for the rest of his life. jmo

BBM. And there you go. She was so enraged that he would dare to leave her that she murdered her babies, and in the process put herself in the situation of giving him (and potentially his AP!) ALL of their money, the house, and sole custody of their firstborn son. I don't think so either.

The fb group want the death penalty, where is the vigilante group ready to kill him the minute he leaves jail if granted bond?
CW is yesterday's news. Unfortunately, as we speak, there are FA's waiting in the wings. We can only hope, those in danger, use their gut instincts and remove themselves and their children to safety.

OT - I don't believe in the death penalty and have no wish to join some obscure fb group discussing the subject.

Clearly, by what he’s admitted to alone, he was never a father.

I agree. IMO, SW had her priorities straight. It appears to me that CW's priority was pleasuring himself.

So, i have looked at the possibility that Shanann strangled her daughters, considering a pregnant tired woman coming home from yet another bout of traveling, arriving home to the family she loved and perhaps wanted to keep intact in spite of her husband's desire to leave, snaps when he says he wanted out, or perhaps he says something ugly like he wished she could abort the baby; she then goes to "abort" all their children. Is it possible? Yes, it is, we have heard of other cases where mothers kill their children under emotionally,mentally, horrific and unstable circumstances.
But then, his actions from the first moment of supposedly seeing her strangling their daughter defy reason from a loving and concerned father. Every. Thing. He. Did. Was. Wrong.
And hiding the bodies, lying to media friends police and family. These are the things that cancel out, IMHO, the possibility Shanann killed her girls. Im pretty adamant and convinced of this. And there are many precedences in other cases that make his guilt and storytelling to save his almost predictable and unsurprising. My first reaction to his claims was a big ole SMDH.

Exactly. There is tremendous precedent for what he did, and none with the scenario that he puts forth.

His story alone tells me all I need to know.

SW knew something wasn't right with CW and her marriage was in trouble. She told NUA that she will need her support more than ever as she arrived home.

This means to me that she was planning to do everything possible to save her marriage. Not strangle her babies to death. She wouldn't ask for friend's support, then go strangle her babies. She knew no one would support strangulation, I'm sure.

She probably wasn't well because she was 4 months pregnant with Lupus. A pregnancy without Lupus is enough to make many women feel unwell and I imagine hers was worse. If I was pregnant and was going through a possible rough patch in my marriage the very last thing I'd want is a romantic getaway. I'd stick with being able to get up, take care of the house and kids, help with an income and make my husband's dinner. And if I had a lout of a husband who came home whilst I was pregnant and announced he was leaving I'd help him go with a good kick in the pants. I would not be frantic. That's just me, though.

I don't think that's just you. If I was in SW's position, I'd give him a swift kick in the pants as well and the next day, I'd be seeing an attorney and filing for divorce.

Agree - add to that spending the rest of her life in prison or face the death penalty? All that for him? I also don't think so!
