They can charge him with whatever they want. What matters more is what the Judge thinks can be proved. JMO
The judge thinks it can be proved, that's why the case is proceeding. It will be up to the jury to decide if it was proved.

How is is true that he saw his kids on the baby monitor before he left the house that morning? They were bagged up and piled in his back seat by then.
Can it be proved CW didn't see Bella sprawled on the baby monitor and didn't see SW strangling CeCe? I doubt it.
CW told LE he saw this on the monitor prior to leaving the house. I'm willing to wait for more evidence and am not interested in convicting CW in the court of public opinion. JMO

His friends and SW's family would have so many more to add, that perhaps we will hear about in Court.
I would love to be a 'fly on the wall' and hear CW's statements to his Defense.
They possibly have a good laugh, when he isn't around.
But CW requires a good Defense, and so possibly more outlandish statements by CW we will not hear.
MOO.
I seriously doubt CW's defense team is laughing about anything in this case. They are very professional. JMO

He didn't call 911 and hid their bodies only because he was so scared he would be blamed for it all or so I've been told. Poor sweet Chris so scared to be accused of a crime (which he actually committed even if you just go with SW's murder) he commits another crime and covers it all up. Logic and common sense tells us that no one would do this. I am honestly baffled that anyone could buy his story. He would have been better off with Jodi Arias first ninja story.

Logic and common sense also require actual evidence at trial. The Anthony prosecutor failed to persuade a jury. I have respect for our judicial process and don't second guess a jury's decision. JMO

I haven't seen this reported anywhere on the 'net. Can you provide a link to it? The only place I've seen it is on here, and then not reported as fact, only as speculation by long-time members (ie, members who appear to be legit and not plants by the entertainment media).
The now cancelled Ashleigh Banfield program, a cable entertainment program, interviewed a gay man who claimed he was CW's lover. Links were provided here.

No legit NEWS media organization has carried that claim that I've seen. JMO

The Judge thinks it can be proved? Really? First I've heard it.

Never says " anybody's" name even once.
And refers to his daughters not as “my kids” but “the kids” and “those kids”.

I thought it went without saying that the jury would be using their logic and common sense to interpret actual evidence at trial. I feel confident they have the evidence they need. JMO. I can have respect for the judicial process and still not agree with the outcome. Prosecutors and defense attorneys lose all the time and I would assume they have great respect for the judicial process yet I'm also sure they don't always agree with the outcome they get from a jury.

What is logical is CW told the truth about everything he knew police would figure out and lied about everything he hoped they wouldn't.
Exactly! Well said.

It’s not being sprawled out that can or cannot be proven because there already are baby cam photos of the girls sprawled out and sleeping on SW’s fb page, children being sprawled out in their beds wasn’t an unusual occurrence in the Watts household. But what can be proven is you can’t see blue skin in baby cam photos. The colors in those images are indistinguishable.

Sometime reading posts, we don't get the clear picture, of the meaning of the post.

Thank you for your post and giving your personal experience on your son's coming out and a mother's love to a son.

We have a better understanding of HIV/AIDS. Antiretroviral therapy (ART) preserves the health of people living with HIV and strong evidence is showing viral suppression under 200 copies/ is showing no risk of sexually transmitting the virus.
I was in the military before gay people were accepted. It was a witch hunt for anyone suspected of being
gay, including friends of mine. Makes me mad, how people were being treated based on being gay.

I respect your theory on CW motive that he was gay and couldn't face family and society.
My personal feeling on CW. He was a slow pressure cooker that exploded at the last minute.
Thank you book-thinker :)and your so right about posts not always giving a clear picture of what someone is trying to say. Also, my writing, is not the best and basically falls apart when I start writing about my son. The way gay men have been treated in the Military is absolutely horrible and so sad. I work for a Federal Agency that’s predominantly male and have seen first hand, gay co-workers, harassed to the point where they have to leave. (I’m not saying all agencies are like this) We live in Texas and I like where we live, but IMO it is not the place I see him living in the future for a genuinely happy, open, and safe life. I think other parts of Texas are much more accepting then where we are. Like you said, the advances they’ve made as far as HIV/AIDS and ART is amazing!! It makes me very hopeful. Thank you again book-thinker and thank you for sharing that message with me :)

In fact, they may be doing the opposite. I saw arias’s attorney interviewed recently and defending her was the worst nightmare of his life. He was horrified by her behavior and lies when he met with her and was trapped—couldn’t get away from it. So much so that he quit being an attorney altogether. For CW’s attorneys, it’s a plum assignment to land such a prominent case, but I suspect it will take it’s toll. Even knowing they are doing their job and believing w/all their heart that every accused person deserves a good defense I think their souls might be bruised in the long run. MOO

Exactly. These attorney’s are people, first and foremost.

It’s hard enough to defend a wife killer, but so much worse when there are young lives snuffed out as well.

Legally it’s tough, but emotionally, that’s another thing entirely.

Add on to that what he did after the fact, and all I can say to them is “good luck with that.”

Excellent point PommyMommy. I did a quick Google search a little while ago and couldn't find any reference to it either. IMO
I think the idea of AIDS came up on this thread in speculating why the defense wants health records sealed

And gives very ABC Family-generic "fathering" insights when talking about things he "misses."

Yup. Without any emotion though, which made it all the more disturbing.

Yep. Attorneys are professional, but they are also human beings.

My husband was a paralegal for a well-known attorney in our area. In the court room and media she was totally professional. She was never sarcastic, never cracked a joke, barely showed any personality whatsoever. In private, though, and with other attorneys the way they ALL talked about their cases was fascinating. The defense attorneys I knew on a personal basis provided the best defense they could for their clients, but that didn't mean that they believed the clients or thought they were good people. Or that they liked them.

No, no, no...let's not twist CW's self serving statement, to TRY and make it truthful.

He was asked, - ' did you see your children that morning, before you left for work.'

his reply was that he saw them on the monitor only, as he left very early.

THAT^^^^ WAS A LIE.

The officer was not asking him 'did you see your children's dead bodies on the child monitor before you disposed of them? '

He was asking CW if he saw his family, safe and sound, when he left for work. And he lied in response.

Respectfully, I twisted nothing. You do not know what questions CW was asked nor do I.

The question the officer asked CW was NOT reflected in the arrest affidavit. The zeal in which CW is accused it getting a tad overboard.

"Chris said he last saw his wife at 5.15am before he left for work.

Watts said he saw his two girls asleep on the baby monitor as he left the house."

So YES, he did LIE the day after he killed them, by saying they were alive and well, and he saw them in the monitor.

This is from the UK Mirror

Sinister photo of what children did to Barbie - days before they were murdered
