Why does his statement explains what happened but no mention of when and how he disposed of the bodies? Im surprised that part was left off the affidavit.

Maybe he didn't tell them that. It talks about him pointing out on satellite pics where the bodies could be found, but maybe he declined to go into more detail.
Or alternatively he could have given them more detail, but they only need to include enough in the affidavit so the court will find probable cause for the charges. I'm sure they know a LOT more than what is in the affidavit even at this early date.

That's not true. LE can wire tap when it has to do with criminal conduct. We see parts of interrogations where a suspect is talking to family in a small room, submitted as evidence in various murder cases. Tapped phone calls. Like Scott Peterson talking on the phone forever with Amber Frey. (It's not a "one party" state).

This is not true. It is a separate charge to account for the death of her unborn child at the hands of the defendant, not a description of the cause of death. Her pregnancy was terminated when her life was terminated. The same act (likely strangulation based on LE reports) led to both the termination of her life, and the termination of her pregnancy.

Hi. Just getting in and saw the latest news an hour ago that he’s blaming Shanann for murder. Whoever called that here was right. (I’ve been stewing and sitting on my hands for an hour and finally decided to post bc it’s getting close to pumpkin time. I look forward to going back and reading everyone’s comments. I also suspected he killed the girls first strictly based on what we’ve been discussing about FA’s and revenge/spite, wanting to hurt the mother, as we have seen in the Parental AAs here which have ended badly.

Good point! If I came home from a business trip, it’s 2am, I’m tired...husband starts a serious conversation and tells me he’s got a lover and is leaving me....his butt would be out immediately, if not sooner. I think it is because the little girls turned blue as he was strangling them and he incorporated that detail into his story, but claimed he saw it on the monitor.

He's got a weird obsession with the baby monitor, IMO. In his media interview, he said he saw the girls on the baby monitor before he left for work.

Or as one of our sweet friends here described when her own child died, the baby could've been blue after death. I didn't know that happens like that. She said her child turned blue 20 minutes after death.

That's not true. If he testifies in his defense and opens the door previous admissions against interest would be allowed in. I'm sure in the jail intake form he consented to being recorded and watched too.

I don't believe for a minute that he told SW he wanted to separate. I think she told him because something happened before or over the weekend to trigger her response and it could be she learned of his affair. CW seemed perfectly happy to have a wife and kids and a girlfriend on the side.

But if SW separated and took the kids, he'd be out of the house, paying child support for three kids he would see maybe once a week and he sure wouldn't be welcome amongst "her people" at Le-Vel. I've always believed Laci learned of Amber Frey and that's what triggered her murder.

CW dug the grave before SW every came home. He had to because there wasn't enough time that morning. Hence, it was premeditated.

GPS tracking on his phone should be able to document when he was at the site and how long he spent there.

Yeah I keep thinking of the Lululemon coworker murder in Maryland-- the killer (who was not yet arrested) spoke to her family members in the interrogation room after the detectives left the room. It was all videotaped and part of the evidence against her.

Apparently she was locked out of the house when she got home - latch wouldn’t open (according to N) and had to phone CW to let her in. So I’m pretty sure he had it all planned given also that her flight was delayed.

Trying to build this guys ego must have been a full time job for poor Shannan. Thus the incessant posts on SM about how wonderful he was. She must have been so sick of it she had to be away from him for 6 weeks in NC to get some relief. Maybe she hoped he would be gone when she got back. I don't get why they became pregnant in the midst of such turmoil. I wish she would have gotten counseling for herself. A good counselor on HER side would have validated her feelings and would have told her to stop kissing his behind, she could have shared her concerns about an affair and shared if there were any concerns for her safety.

I'm not convinced he actually "asked for a separation". If SW was worried he was having an affair, she might have directly connected that with "our marriage is over." She had one divorce behind her and she probably did not want another one, but for many women, infidelity is non-negotiable, and leads to instant separation.
She's suspicious he's having an affair but she hasn't confirmed it yet, she's made it clear that IF he's having an affair, their marriage is over, she goes to her family for a few weeks to get him to focus on what's important... and he uses this alone time to make wild promises to his girlfriend and search for convenient body-dumping sites.

Exactly. Why didn't he just text her his plans while she sat at the airport for 4hrs?

Why was her phone between the cushions in the sofa in another room? She got home very late. She wouldn’t call friends to chat at 2 am. Did Chris hide her phone? I wonder if she called him earlier to let him know she’d be late.

I think he hid it. Either to stop her from calling for help when he murdered her or because he didn't want it to sound or show from a window or something if someone came by before he could get back to stage the scene.
