LE has access to your FB account, they can read everything your friends can read, so nothing you think is private or "friends only" is actually private and they also have access to your messages if need be. If you close your FB down it's still all recorded, everything you ever write is accessible by LE if they ask FB for it. I am talking YEARS here, since you opened your FB account--- not trying to create paranoia here, but it's true. I won't reveal how I know this but I will say I have seen that access.
I am sure he was corresponding with his mistress via social media and I would imagine that LE easily found it. They probably had her name before he confessed, wayyy before.

IMO I bet he was texting Whomever he had an affair with . Especially if he had feelings to get sympathy . I believe there was the interview with Thayers that commented him being in the phone a lot

We do not know this - but we know steroid problems are valid. His eyes look like he could lose it but the lack of DV bring reported thus far certainly adds credibility to his confession, and is , as we all know, very unusual . Who knows with this tragedy it may surface later but as of this time there appears to be no reports of DV.

I have had 4 FHA loans, they are not for first time home buyers.

I apologize, I am not personally familiar with such loans. Looking into it further, it seems FHA loans tend to benefit those who can’t afford a large down payment or have a history of bankruptcy or foreclosure. Seems to be stricter limits on how much you can borrow as opposed to a regular mortgage. Either which way- it is a benefit to be on the deed and not the mortgage when it comes to divorce.

Literally all it takes is one man on that jury with the mindset that women are to blame for a man's transgressions.

I know this seems implausible given what we know, but these men exist everywhere. There's even some women who buy into the trope that if a man cheats, it must be because his wife has some sort of character flaw.

Look at everyone in the beginning who was assuming that it was SW who was terrible with money just because she was in a MLM? Or because it's the automatic assumption that if a woman doesn't hold a "real job" she can't possibly be responsible with money? (Sorry, but I've never held a "real job", been married since I was 19 and a SAHM, and I handle all our finances since our bankruptcy 14 years ago. A bankruptcy that was due to medical debt from an unforeseen medical emergency where I was close to losing my life. There are plenty of men out there that think when men get out of control in a marriage, it must've been provoked by the woman.

All it takes is one of them on this jury. One. One of them to buy his BS story that she killed her babies.

I rewatched his interview and it is downright disturbing how nonchalant he is considering the circumstances. If a “fit of rage” over his daughters prompted him to murder his wife, where were those underlying driving emotions during his interview? He is incredibly casual and seemingly unbothered, even laughing at some points.

I felt physically sick to my stomach watching him go on with his weak performance while knowing his babies were in the oil wells at that exact moment.

This case is simply unlike any other I’ve seen in a longtime. It is truly frightening to think that such monstrous types of people exist at all and especially in those who have never had a history of crime. Makes you wonder who you can trust in this world.

In terms of premeditation, it doesn't appear the state of Colorado defines the length of "time" in which the person thought about killing another before doing so.

Three of the five first-degree murder charges CW is facing allege "after deliberation" and "with intent". The specific charge (x 3) is:.
(1) A person commits the crime of murder in the first degree if:
(a) After deliberation and with the intent to cause the death of a person other than himself, he causes the death of that person or of another person

Colorado Revised Statutes, Title 18, Criminal code, and this is Colorado defines "after deliberation":

(3) The term “after deliberation” means not only intentionally but also that the decision to commit the act has been made after the exercise of reflection and judgment concerning the act.  An act committed after deliberation is never one which has been committed in a hasty or impulsive manner.

My thoughts are the prosecution feels very strongly they can prove that CW committed three murders, after deliberation, and after the exercise of reflection and judgment.

Of course he is has other charges against him and I think they are going to go after him with everything they have got.

I suppose if they have his computer stuff and they saw on that stuff that indicates he was planning .

I def would think he had thought about getting out of the marriage.

But in terms of definition - that would have to be mind reading. How does anyone know what another was thinking by looking at that person.

He confessed because cops found the sheet on a drone search and the disturbed area of dirt nearby and started questioning him about it Also confronted him with proof of the affair. He had to confess at that point because he knew they were going to find at least SW body on their own.

Plus I believe the cadaver dogs detected the smell of death in the house.

You are correct, he chose to do those things after SW killed them and CW killed her. Clearly not thinking clearly when entire world has just been turned upside down. Hence his reaction when hearing the charge in court about placing them in the tanks. Also, when describing the girls on video in one interview, for a split second he nearly broke down describing the one like him. A split second. Take another look.

What makes you believe that the mother killed those babies? His word? Or is there other supporting evidence?

If he deactivated it, all the information is there... every comment, like, post, etc. You just can't access it on the internet anywhere else. And it'll be there for 90 days post deactivation. If I deactivate, I have 90 days to log back in and restore all of that to what it was before I deactivated.

You know what I did when I found my dead child in the room with my husband*? Although he'd clearly been dead for a while, I called 911 and started CPR and then left with the ambulance. I didn't strangle my husband and dump my child's body in our well. Although I was not in my right mind, either, I still behaved pretty much the way you are meant to. I realize that people react in diffetent ways during trauma but few desecrate the bodies after.

*FWIW, he went into cardiac arrest from an illness we didn't know he had and died in his sleep. My husband didn't kill him; he was asleep on the other side of the room.

While this may be a valid explanation for her relationship with Chris I find it very hard to believe she killed her babies. She overcame great odds and risked her own health to have them (Lupis.) If it is forensically proven that she did then I will eat my shirt!

We've seen so many threads about parents (including seemingly loving, caring parents) abusing and killing their children it seems anything is possible, but not with this ending. Not with the living parent dumping three bodies. Just no.

CARIIS, I think you are at the point where you think she killed her children, and he killed her. Judging by how, for instance, he gulped so hard while spelling his daughter's name in the tv interview, and how he was stammering while talking about them, I think it slowly crept into him that he killed them and he is now ashamed for being a baby killer. He's trying to distance himself from having killed the girls, hence why he is blaming SW for that. Or, maybe his dad shamed him.

I’ve deactivated for over a year and once I log back in, everything is still there where I left it. I think you are referring to deleting your account, which requires going through more steps (the difference was discussed yesterday so idk what thread it’s in).

And that was likely the person signing the mortgage paperwork.

When my husband and I looked at getting a house we were approved (with an income of roughly 60k) for a $250k home.

There are plenty of people out there that will mortgage their lives away to keep up with the Joneses. Luckily I am not one of those people. I knew there was no way we could afford that, even if we were approved for it.
