Yes, but from about 2am to 5am would have been his window... maybe he just over-thunk it at that time believing he would come home and make things like he wanted after disposing of the bodies.

Oh my lord, this is getting out of control.

SW posted this innocent pic of what her girls did with this life-sized doll with some kind of white tarp (I forget what she said it was).

Another poster here commented about kids (in general) pulling heads off Barbies.

The end.
Oh, it's what the girls did! Thx.
Granted it looks odd with all that happened since, but maybe its just them using a tarp as a blanket
I'm not sure if there is any significance. I guess a psychologist only would know.

Ha! I said that way back when I first saw that video. He may as well have been holding a sign.

Just jumping off your post. For real! Here is Mark Lunsford 2 1/2 years after his daughter was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered. There is no d$mn smiling and laughing like we saw with CW. Ridiculous!

Wondering that myself.

I quite honestly don't understand why some people are insistent upon making Shanann the "bad guy" here and seem to be going out of their way to find things. She's dead. You might not agree with how she displayed herself on SM (which is the way that MANY people do), or agree with the bedtimes she set. You may not even LIKE her. She is still a victim in this crime, however. She was still killed. There is zero proof that she killed the girls; we only have CW's word for that and his track record for the truth isn't strong.
I agree. She seems like a dedicated and loving mom to me. All moms have moments when they’re a little short on patience, but those girls seemed to be the center of Shannan’s universe from what I can see.

Ive seen some posts that his dad could have been involved.personally I cannot findany references to his family and only SW's is grieving. Does anyone know if he had his family close by.

Something that I've been thinking about all day.

Their mortgage payment was $3000 a month. That makes me swallow very hard. If anything goes awry, if you miss three payments, with late fees, you are going to be nudging up to 9 to 10 grand in debt. And if you are missing mortgage payments, it's likely you don't have a big savings account. Nine to ten grand is a lot to get back ahead of.

Also, didn't I read somewhere (not sure if it was here?) that THRIVE didn't actually pay the car payments; they provided products to sell to make that amount. Do I have that right?

New member here...still learning the rules. Thanks for your patience.

I went to watch his interview with the reporter and I had audio issues. It may sound weird but I decided to watch the full thing without audio. wow!
You would NEVER guess he was talking about his missing family. Without audio, it looks like he is talking about anything; HOA, sports, home prices in CO....anything except his missing family.
Creepy.

Hello Ravenesque, you're doing great and I couldn't agree more. Looks like he could have been talking about the weather. We have witnessed SW's father sob uncontrollably. We have seen the pain and anguish in her brothers’ words. We have watched and listened to the devastation her friends experienced when they learned that CW confessed. That is grief. Not one single tear from CW. Not one single statement that gives even an itsy, bitsy, teensy, tiny hint that he has any remorse or is grieving WHEN HE KNEW AT THAT TIME THEY WERE ALL DEAD. Losing a child is the most difficult pain imaginable. And nothing…he is completely flat/apathetic.

Thank you for clarifying this point. I do think it's a bit of stretch (though I didn't watch the show to hear her comments) to assume because he took out the payroll-deduction policies on his dependents he must've been thinking about cashing in.

He could not claim insurance when there are no dead people to show. I think you have to wait seven years if there is no body

A TALKING MOUTH
I tried that too. It was like he was just some kind of 'talking mouth'. The mouth moved but with no eye expressions or emotions.

Hi, european lawyer here. Trying to catch up with all the posts but there' a lot to read through, so please forgive me for asking something that was already answered.

My question would be about the effect oil has on the human body. Someone mentioned on an early thread that the oil has to be warm in order to keep it in a good fluid state. I have never encountered a case, where any victim was placed into an oil tank and this is really a crucial point, as of what kind of state the recovered little angels could have been, after four days?

I'm literally losing sleep over this case, the brutality of it, just unfathomable...

NCIS agents vow to solve "unsolvable" cold case and restore a sailor's honor

Pete Hughes: What was key to us is we gotta be able to demonstrate to anybody and everybody, if he dumps that body -- in the oil tanks, where'd the body go?

And NCIS' forensic team had the answer.

Jim Grebas: Experts were able to explain the oil is so caustic, seawater, microorganisms, it'd simply -- just eat into the clothing, flesh.

Megan Rose: ...The corrosive effect would've essentially disintegrated Muns' body and it would have been flushed out to sea.

Pete Hughes: It was evidence that there was no evidence. …That was key, because what they were gonna say is, " show us the body...."

We talked a lot about this a few threads back. IMO, it's only creepy now because we have hindsight and can put it in context of the murders. Otherwise, while it might have appeared strange, it was probably harmless. My kids have been doing stuff like this since they were toddlers. I don't know where they get it from. Now that they're older, they have a strong interest in the weird and macabre. Just this past week my 7-year-old daughter and her BFF made a pact: the BFF promises not to spit as long as my daughter promises not to talk about dead people.

that grin did it for me: right then and there i knew he did something terrible- and he was obviously pleased with himself!
Sick, isn't it? Worst of the worst.

I wonder if the defense attorney is wondering: “Really, this is what you’re going with? This is the best excuse you could back yourself into? This is what I have to work with?”

That said, what other excuse could he possibly have come up with?

It’s so outrageous.

Outrageous is right. I think we can all take comfort from the fact that the prosecution will never let someone who is enough of an unhinged gullible sucker to believe CW's blatant lie through to final jury selection. CW has made this very easy for LE and the prosecution due to his narcissism. Justice for Shanann, CeCe, Bella, and Nico!

RSBM

Thank you! It is so ridiculous.

What little emotion CW has shown us has been concern for himself, attempts at manipulating others into believing his cockamamie story, and dupers delight at thinking he's succeeding.

I thought the same thing! When the defense asked for the DNA swabs, it was because CW had decided to commit to that story.

I think it's $800 per month on a car they lease for you, or $300 toward your own car payment. So the $800 free car sounds like a great deal (800 free bucks per month!) but it's not your car, and if you actually want the cash it's only $300.
