Her success was built upon her and her ability to market everything positively.

Hiya,
But did it really? OR MLM SM posts depend on her being RELATABLE to current or potential clients?

IMO, relatable which includes complaint about your husband snoring, laundry left a foot from the hamper, etc. They RELY on being relateable, not perfect, IMO.

I really do not understand why someone would admit strangling the life out of their wife , dumping his kids in disgusting oil ,and tossing his dead wife in a self made grave, while admitting to an affair has a heap of motivation to lie about the rest.

I think she might have been on her way to look in on the girls and he attacks her there, he may have not strangled her there but some kind of altercation happened there. I can't figure out any other reason for her phone to be pushed down behind the cushions. He could have just taken her phone and put it in his pocket if he was just trying to keep her from calling for help.
Exactly, ditto, IMO too.
I said a few days ago that all of our hope, and her family’s hope can be she didn’t see the girls already gone and that CW attacked her from behind and SW just didn’t know. To me, THAT is the only current hope I can come up with. May be “pie in the sky” thinking on my part, but a gal can hope.

I've found out some more information about the HOA lawsuit.

They were being sued for non-payment of dues and assessments. The total of the assessments and late charges was $683.80. The lawsuit was seeking an additional $650 for attorney's fees and $200 in court costs for a total of $1,533.80.

The lawsuit was filed on July 12, 2018, but both CW and SW signed Waivers of Service on June 30. That means the lawsuit was no surprise, and they were essentially agreed for a judgment to be entered against them for $1,553.80, plus interest at 18% per annum, plus additional attorney's fees and court costs if they filed a responsive pleading.

To me, this means they couldn't come up with $684 to get their HOA dues up to date. I would say it points to a dire financial situation. Why wouldn't you pay the dues before the lawsuit was filed if you could? Why have to pay the extra $200 in court costs and have a lawsuit as a public record against you?

Thank you, Bill Carson! Excellent sleuthing! Sorry to be stupid, but when you say “both parties signed on June 30” does that mean a process server came to their house and both SW and CW signed individually? I’d love to hear from the process server.

$683.80 is 12.66 months worth of dues. That’d be nuts to ignore a year’s worth of dues. I have to wonder if there was a special assessment, such as snow removal, and so it’s not a year’s worth of dues. But we didn’t have much snow in winter 2017/2018 so that could not be case....

After living 18 years in a Colorado HOA, I sure hope someone digs deeper as to why they just didn’t write a darned check and get rid of the HOA delinquency and avoid a judicial action which could appear on their credit report and lead to a superlien foreclosure!

I think because it would have been too hard to tell his parents he murdered their grandbabies. Maybe they never liked SW, or maybe he figured they could forgive him for her murder, but never for killing the girls. They were theirs too.

In looking at her social media, I see no posts on Instagram since Aug. 1 and no posts on her Facebook since Aug. 9 (doll photo). She was tagged in a photo in Arizona. I find that odd for someone who lived her life on social media. Unless those posts were removed, it appears there was no activity post wise since Aug. 9. IMO, this could be a small sign that she was mentally struggling. If someone knows of posts she made after Aug. 9, please let me know.

Fair enough, I have just seen people arguing both with this case and others (not necessarily on here, I’ve read so much stuff in different places that I have no idea now where I’ve seen things), that there is absolutely no way a caring mother WOULDN’T check in on her children in this situation. I know there was a case here in the UK a while back where the mother saying she hadn’t checked on her child between putting him to bed at 9pm and finding him missing at 7am was instantly seen as a sign of her guilt by a lot of people (actually in that case she was guilty, but that’s not my point). I don’t always check on my children at night, I’m a light sleeper, they are light sleepers, and they often (but not always) get up and come in my bed at night, or call for me, but if they don’t, I’m not gonna risk disturbing them by going in there. Just wanted to point out that it IS possible she didn’t feel the need to go in and check on them, and it doesn’t mean her mothering of them was anything less than loving.
As a mother to a light sleeper, I totally agree and posted a few pages back.

Correct. We don't have solid facts on what their financial situation was on the day of the murders. We don't have solid facts on CW state the day before murders, and we don't know SW state around the time of the murders. However, given that SW briefly passed out the night before, I believe there's more to her state of mind that we need to know. CW was stated to be at a birthday party acting normal and then reported to be grilling out. I see more red flags with her shortly before the murders than him.
This bothers me a lot too. We do know women who seem to love their children in public and on SM that kill them.
I’m going to try to be open-minded as a juror should be ...
She has said herself that she was ABUSIVE to CW in the beginning of their relationship. I hear a hard tone in her voice during pregnancy reveal that sounds on edge and he does act strangely - maybe even fearful?
I keep hearing him say in interview, “This has got to stop!” I think he means a lot more by that statement - maybe the excessive spending or even her tendency to become abusive when she doesn’t feel well... (her words not mine)
BUT, it always comes back to ... throwing those babies in a oily, dark place ... my mind can’t go there no matter what really happened in that house. He went into a dimension that I can’t enter when he decided and acted upon that plan.
So if anyone could explain to me WHY he would do that to his children who were supposedly murdered by their mother, I will reconsider my conviction that he killed them all.

An attempt to lesson his sentence, continue to abuse SW, and take digs at SW's family (something we're likely see him do even years later from his cell).

We've seen it all before.

Speculating on the other side of the coin

Mothers killing their own children is shockingly more common than you think, so much so that there's even a term for the killer moms who do it — filicide. Although people might wonder in confusion as to how a parent can take away the life of the one thing they are supposed to love and protect, psychologists say there are several reasons for why moms choose to kill, from spousal revenge to altruistic motives. But the main thing that ties all these cases together, regardless of the motive, is mental health.

Mothers with very young children are infinitely more vulnerable when a partner deserts them and walks out on them,"

I cant without him theme - and stated online frequently (life is nothing without him etc)

reason there isn't any way out for them. They come to the conclusion that they have had enough and they want to take their own life and it's inconceivable to them that they take their own life and leave their children."

Killer Moms: Shocking Cases Of Women Who Killed Their Children - In Touch Weekly

In how many of those cases did the dad react by killing the mother in rage and grief and then calmly dispose of all their bodies, go to work and coolly lie about their whereabouts to avoid detection for the next several days?

Someone on here mentioned that maybe he resented her for living beyond their means. My take on that is that he likes to live beyond his means. There is no way that he didn't enjoy being well groomed and wearing expensive clothing. I still think that he killed her after the children. How cruel of him to groom them into "playing dead" what a jerk. He no doubtfully told them they were going to play the game and that is when he killed them. I can't keep up with the posts on here. lol So forgive me if I post something that has been discussed already.

Actually all we know is he confessed to killing her.

Oh that's not true. That's not true at all.

What we know would be a thread page long.

Ooo, ty.... for your correction, guidance...
Where these on the first floor, or second? The last SM and media videos I saw of first floor near door area didn’t have any going up the stairs to the second floor.
BUT, not sure I was looking for them at the time, so TY!

If you go to her Instagram CFlo and scroll down to the Celeste toddler years period you can see the white baby gate in two alternative positions as far as I remember. I do not recollect them being used recently with the kids.

Unfortunately I didn't save the links as I didn't feel they were relevant at that point but they were definitely photographed on the stairs and are there. ( I'd been looking for the baby monitors and shots from those which I posted on a previous thread)

I'll admit a possible scenario. Also possible is a murder-suicide scenario. He was depressed and planned to kill them and himself. But when it came time to kill himself, he then just couldn't do it and had to quickly figure out what to do next, hence the sloppiness of this.
I could almost buy this idea if there were any signs that CW was depressed. Haven't seen or heard anything remotely close to that.

Actually all we know is he confessed to killing her.
And one child within her. And dumping three bodies (with one inside the mother). That tells a lot. A lot.
