I do! I do!

But yeah, it’s definitely not a good look for him, or anyone for that matter.
I think he is not a good speaker, and it will be more detrimental than his orange jumpsuit. . He somehow managed to pull it together when he thought he fooled everyone, during the porch interview, but on trial, he’d probably be “a mumbler”.

I doubt he’ll testify. But if it’s anything like his news interviews, he’ll likely continue to sound like a teenage girl, trapped in the 90’s.

You can’t fix stupid.

By default, I am always skeptical when an AP comes out during a high-profile murder and starts appearing on talk shows. It's not because I don't believe CW is incapable of having a homosexual affair, I just had a hard time buying what TB was selling because it felt like (IMO) he was just enjoying his 15 minutes in the spotlight. And he was in a LOT of different places doing his selling, not just on TV. The fact that he would hold onto semen-stained underwear after all these months was one of the many things that made me side eye him.

With that said, as time goes on and I become more and more convinced that TB's stories are true and that he probably was CW's paramour.
What other talk shows was he on? I only know about the interview with Banfield. Regardless, if he was on multiple shows, or tweeting about it, or whatever, it seems LE and the Banfield show confirmed the texts between he and CW. It just seems so odd to me that people can post comments on here last night speculating about 🤬🤬🤬🤬, child 🤬🤬🤬🤬, sexually assaulting his girls, etc but can’t or won’t believe a man that says he had an affair with CW and apparently has text threads to prove it. IMO

I wholeheartedly agree, Tippy. I want the truth known as well, whatever that may be.
I’m baffled by the inability of some to look at all possibilities in this case.
I know some will argue they have all the information they need, or list the reasons why what they believe is “right,” but the fact is, there is a lot we still do not know.
I believe we all want the truth to come out. I have looked at it from every angle, trying to come up with different scenarios. I am a very logical thinker. Always have seen things as either black or white. Now that I am older I can see gray areas. The trouble I am having even considering that SW killed her children, (and I have tried) is that it just doesn't make sense to me. His actions weren't logical. His interview seriously contradicted the loving father act. He knew his children were dead and he couldn't act sad, scared, or desperate. He had just killed his wife and unborn child, yet he didn't act traumatized. I can't imagine seeing my children killed and knowing I had killed someone, and not be traumatized. He couldn't have been, because he laughed during the interview. I know that there is a lot of evidence that we don't know anything about on both sides. Maybe when we have heard it all, I will change my mind. It will have to be very good evidence, something other than she was angry over his affair, for it to let me get past him laughing, knowing his precious babies were dead. JMO

Chris Watts, 33, will appear for a status hearing at 2 p.m., according to a statement from the Weld “County District Attorney’s Office. It’s unclear what the newly-scheduled hearing will be about. Denver7 will be in court and report any new developments.“

Skimming and trying to catch up on the last two threads and just want to clarify from the Warrantless Affidavit, "At approximately 4:25 PM Investigators spotted a bed sheet in the field near the tank battery. . . The drone search also revealed fresh movement of dirt consistent with a clandestine grave near the oil tanks.”

The Warrant is dated August 16, 2018, so was the drone out there on Wednesday, August 15, 2018? Wasn't CW arrested later that day on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:32 pm?
Yes. Wednesday 8/15 right before the 10:00 P.M. news the local Denver ABC news announced that they had confirmed w/2 unnamed inside sources CW had confessed to killing SW and the girls. By the end of the 10:00 pm news cycle local ABC and another news channel reported CW had been arrested for the murder of all 3, and investigators felt they knew where the bodies were and were in the process of recovering them. By Thursday news stations were referring to the confession as "alledged" since LE wouldn't confirm the confession, but LE did confirm the arrest and that body recovery was expected to be imminent.

Sorry for any reposts.

Chris Watts to make last court appearance before arraignment

“This will be the last court hearing for Christopher Lee Watts before he is scheduled for an arraignment, where he may enter a guilty or not guilty plea.“

Snip

“The charging document for Christopher Watts also leaves open the possibility that Bella and Celeste were killed before their mother. It says that they were killed sometime between Aug. 12 and Aug. 13.”

We don’t know. Sometime between 2 and 5. According to his account, they had their little argument around 4-5 AM.

Either way, rigor wouldn’t be a factor, even if it was in its initial stages, which is unlikely.

If he killed her around two or three, rigor would be a problem.

Rigor begins about 3-4 hours after death, peaking at 12 hours. That wouldn’t have been a concern.

A pickup truck is elevated, and something covered in the backseat, wouldn’t draw attention. Even if it was a body. The sheet did its job.

Hm. This says it could start as early as two hours. I wonder how soon it starts with children.

“A hearing for the release of the autopsy reports has been scheduled for Dec. 21. While the hearing was petitioned by the coroner and is thus a civil matter, both the prosecution and defense in the Watts case have been granted the right to intervene.

The defense has said that releasing the reports wouldn't matter at this time, as the prosecution has already damaged the integrity of the case.

The defense alleges that the prosecution is responsible for leaks to the media that may have come from law enforcement. The prosecution said it has sent emails to the relevant departments reminding them to not make extrajudicial statements. The court denied the defense's request for an investigation into the leaks.“

Depends on the environment and temperature. Rigor didn't set in with my small son until about 4 hours after he died. If they were under covers, in bed, etc then it takes longer.

I can't answer to what other people think or post. I was just replying with my own personal thoughts about why I didn't believe him in the beginning.

I don’t understand why rigor is an issue here anyways. We know that he loaded them into the backseat of his truck. He’s admitted to this.

Slight signs of rigor wouldn’t have complicated his efforts at all.

I’m going to ask an awful question.

Can we absolutely say for certain at this point that their bodies were intact? Tia.

Hey BabyButterfly,

We all appreciate you sharing with us your exchanges with Shanann.

FYI, you can be a verified insider without ever meeting the person in question. In this day and age some of my best friends I have yet to meet in person.

BabyButterfly, for now there is no need to verify you. It might become necessary later but not now. Please continue sharing the exchanges you had with Shannan.

Take Care,
Tricia

Thanks so much, Tricia!

Thank you for sharing with us. I hope it's not too hard for you. I'm also sorry about your illness, I pray it's not too serious or long. Thanks again.

You're so welcome. I can't add much, but will continue to share when I can. Thank you!

Yes, we discussed our husbands, the usually complaints, not taking out trash, etc. Because she has lupus and fibro among other health issues, tired and cranky were pretty normal, especially in her pregnancies. I don't think she had one thing to do with killing those babies! IMO he killed them all.

Oh my goodness, BabyButterfly, I am just now seeing this / realizing that you knew Shanann...I am so sorry!

Hugs!!

Even if the girls were already in rigor when he loaded them up, it wouldn't have been impossible to load and unload. They were tiny enough that stiffness probably wouldn't have been an issue.

It depends on the goals people have. Those may have been her goals , and he did not give a rip about the things she loved. They may have found that they were incompatible.

It resulted in murder, but because two people do not want the same things out of life does not mean another is stepping up to the plate. The other person may not even want to be in that game.
They may not want to be in that game, if so they usually either speak up, file for divorce, or move out. They do not kill to get out of the game.JMO
