Watt's broke down crying when pleading guilty to Celest’s murder - count 3
Do you think (or anyone really) that the families knew in advance?I thought it was very respectable of the media to state that both of their families were there, but no photographs were done prior to this. I think that says a lot about the media.
I said some really ugly things to him out loud when I read that.
I believe that was BellaWasn't she his favorite? The one he said was most like him personality wise?
I think it must be and for clear pre-planning so there was no question of pre-meditation. As for his crying, it's too little and far too late. I think he is crying for himself as otherwise he would have been shedding tears in the days he was telling everyone they were missing. I hope they figure out what makes him tick. That has to be. Because family annihilators are terrified of being unmasked and of their families finding out who they are.
But that's why I thought he wouldn't plead guilty to the girls' murders.
I guess the evidence was super damning.

Good . This human is so far below contempt. No pity for hm at all. No reason. No excuse. Seems like he would want the death penalty. Why kind of subhuman could live with themselve after what he had done to his babies & wife?. No mercy should be afforded to him.
Something is weird though, I doubt they ever would have thrown the death penalty at him.Christopher Watts pleads guilty to murder of wife and daughters
Christopher Watts pleaded guilty to the murder of his pregnant wife and two young daughters today in exchange for prosecutors taking the death penalty off the table.
Watts, 33, pleaded guilty to five counts of first-degree murder after deliberation in the deaths of his wife Shanann and two daughters Celeste and Bella in August, according to a news release from the Weld County District Attorney's Office.
Watts also pleaded guilty to unlawful termination of a pregnancy, and three counts of tampering with a deceased human body.
The news release stated the plea deal was made with the agreement of the victims' family. In exchange for pleading guilty to all nine charges, prosecutors have agreed not to seek the death penalty.
The first-degree murder counts still carry a life sentence in prison.
I don’t think so, read another tweet that he cried between pleading guilty to all counts after thatOhhhh, just hers though?
Because there is always a risk with trial. Always a risk. And they got everything but the death penalty, which right now is pretty useless in the state of CO. And the family saves the heartache and expense of a trial. Everyone won today, except for the public denied full access IMO.In some ways I am not surprised by this (plea).
When he was confronted by the police, within days of their disappearance, he folded immediately (confessing to killing SW and NW). That told me that he was not a super arrogant, defiant murderer. He was a bit weak. He didn't have it in him to just deny everything when first confronted, like many of these family killers do.
Given that... this plea seems a bit in line with his very early behavior.
I wonder why they decided to offer him a plea though. I wonder if the family is consulted in that decision. I have to imagine they were.
No, that was Bella. He said she was mothering and cece was more "gung ho" like Shan'ann.Wasn't she his favorite? The one he said was most like him personality wise?
