So glad to see this news in the header today; I've completely failed to keep up to date with this case but have been reading the threads as time permits, I'm just about 2 months behind the rest of you. I'm so glad Shanann's family don't have to go through the uncertainty of a trial; it seemed obvious right from the start that he was the only one responsible for everything, but you never can be sure what will happen in court, so that must be such a relief to them. It'll never bring them back, but at least justice will be served - and coming from the UK, I like US sentencing a lot better than ours in cases like this; he really will get life in prison. Good riddance.
