The autopsies will indeed be released and the DA seemed keen on releasing more info as well. I really feel most will come out.

Knowing that all the murders were premeditated makes me now lean toward the theory that the girls were likely killed before SW even arrived home. It doesn’t sound like we’ll ever know what happened that night but I’m hoping the autopsy reports will provide an approximate time of death for each of them. Premeditation = a cold blooded murderer.

Word sure got out of the courtroom quickly despite there being a no electronic devices order in place. I'm wondering how they managed that. Maybe there were exceptions in place for media reporters, or they turned a blind eye to it.

I noticed that too. I bet they're relieved as all hell tonight.

Unfortunately I don't think it will completely stop, but it should wind down to a dull roar. My strong hope is these people will reflect on why they enjoyed being cruel to an innocent family in mourning and think twice before engaging next time. No doubt some won't, and they are going to miss the frenzied, gleeful group bashing they so enjoyed. All we can hope for is someday the tables are turned and they get to feel firsthand the pain they've been causing.

As vile as some people have been, there have been far more who've gone out of their way to show empathy and support. IMO hang with those and ignore the rest!

Who knew that the best way to keep up with an ongoing criminal case was to use Pinterest! Pommymommy did!

And she did such a great job thank you.

And also the moderators, they did such an overwhelmingly fabulous job of keeping the threads open, and snipping stuff when usually they merely delete the original post and the answers.

But they actually took the time to delete the original post but leave the answer.

That takes a lot of time and kudos to the moderators! I saw it again and again and I haven't seen it anywhere before so widespread is it was here so the moderators deserve a really big kudos for such as taking the time to do that.

I still can't believe that people believed him especially if they watched his interview. That showed him as a liar. There were people that took the word of a killer, he had already admitted to killing two people, not only believed him but helped him destroy her reputation or allowed it to go on. Shame on them. It broke my heart for Shan'ann's family. They were victimized over and over again. And made what was already a horrible tragedy, that much more painful.

<modsnip - discussing other posters> CW's story never made sense. I am sure there is a mountain of evidence against him. Sadly I think it quite likely that he killed their children first, then ambushed his pregnant wife. The "emotional conversation" he cheerfully rolled out on TV was imo to set up the idea that she had disappeared on him, taking the children, perhaps to later set up the idea of suicide or just never to be seen again. And yes her good friend made it impossible for him to stage things as he hoped, plus the neighbor's video cam that he didn't realize captured the garage. What a disgusting wreck of a human, not worthy of being called human actually.

I have been silently reading since the threads reopened last week, but life too busy for me to comment.

You guys.....TODAY. This was the outcome I had hoped for since August 15th, but I did not think would happen, especially after following several SM groups who support CW. I thought for sure the absurdity of CWs claim and the sheer number of people believing it would make it to trial. For SW family...oh how I hope they can begin to heal now. I don't know how I could. This loss is just too profound.

For clarification, though, the domestic violence portion of the charges - is there any chance that could relate to SW inflicting domestic violence on CW?

I think that their lives were taken by Chris and that they are dead.

Hugs back to ALL of you who stood by Shanann and the girls even if you never had the chance to know them. I wish you had--she was truly good and her positive energy was contagious and the little girls were cute with so much promise. I'm not particularly spiritual but I know SW is grateful and smiling down at all of you. I hope you can feel it too.

No. She was the victim. Why would they charge him with domestic violence if she was the one that did it? He killed her and all 3 babies.

I would sure like to see the judge decide not to keep the request sealed. I don't know if it would serve any "public good" for it be released but my hunch is it would put CW in even worse light. He bore false witness to save his own behind, and apart from those granted by law IMO doesn't doesn't deserve any efforts to protect his reputation from himself. SW was an innocent victim and had no clue she or the girls were in danger. Maybe exposing everything publicly can help some other woman recognize danger and get out in time.

You are a wonderful friend and a blessing in Shanann, Bella, and CeCe's lives. So kind of you to keep thinking of others. Yes, maybe some good will eventually come from this nightmare.

Yes that’s what I meant. He was backed into a corner in the interrogation room and made up that ridiculous story on the spot. It was never going to work

Just read the news and came straight here. I’m glad he hasn’t bankrupted his parents by going to trial but he needs to be closely monitored so he doesn’t harm himself. He cannot escape his punishment and must spend every day of the rest of his life miserable in a cell.

Thank you to all of you for the kindness you have shown Shan’ann and the children. This case has broken all our hearts.

This one reads differently than the other 3 IMO. It certainly has a slant due to the comments from a "source close to [him]"

Mmmmhmm. Killed Shan'ann. No mention of killing the girls. Mention of best case being aquittal (um... no). Right choice for him. And his family. OK.

This is the angle that those defending him are going to rely on. They will say he only admitted it because he was being strung up.

I was. I must have sat behind the “murder sesh” tweeter as I was two rows behind the Watts family. CW looked like he has gained weight, his face wasn’t as angular if that makes sense. The bullet proof vest was snug to say the least.
