In regards to your comment about Ted Bundy’s eyes and how they had “that” gleam, but then you appeared to doubt yourself so said “tons” of people have it...I am more inclined to agree with your first thought that there’s something to be said about it. Especially after cases like this. Where the person seemed so “normal”...but then there was SOMETHING about the eyes...I think that “gleam” that we don’t immediately label happiness, worry, sadness, excitement (because we can’t quite put a finger on it) is our instinct recognizing psychopathy, something missing, something sinister! I don’t know if I’m making any sense because this site makes my mind think a million things at once/morbidly excited lol but basically...I agree with your thought that a “gleam” (or even noticing something about someone’s eyes that you can’t name) means something. We’re just used to talking ourselves out of it and ignoring that tons of people have it. Until tragedies like this.
Yes! Robert Hare who studies psychopaths said that they cause the hair to stand up on the back of your neck. There's a look in the eyes.
But he described it more like shark eyes.
Regardless, something is there that sensitive people pick up on and it's something different from others. Something sinister.
