The pro-CW posts, demonizing SW, and the screenname were the giveaways for me. I knew who it was within a couple of posts.
That too. And evasiveness.

I wonder why the post that they knew about CW's AP from the beginning. CW shared that? Hard to believe. NK was searching SM for Shan'ann in September 2017 per the docs.

He could have shared it. I think I read somewhere in discovery it stated he was very close with Trinket. Maybe he did tell her.

Was he working at that particular worksite on Friday? When was the last time he was there?

I just keep wondering if he had that gravesite prepared in some way - that he had it ready for when he needed to use it.

jmo
No, he was off work on Friday. I now doubt that he had the grave prepared in advance, he couldn't have known in advance that he would get an answer from his coworker on the Sunday evening.

I saw on the news Co. Has some of the top public defenders in the USA.

CW certainly got lucky in that regard.

And it didnt escape my notice CW brought up the death penalty during the FBI interrogation . No doubt he looked into those laws at some point.

Moo

They were incredible. And yet people actually felt they railroaded CW into a plea? That they were corrupt.

Wow.

Does it say the date? Was it during the time she was on her business trip and they were talking about his not feeling anything for her anymore or not wanting the baby?
In July when SW was in NC and CW was not.

No, he was off work on Friday. I now doubt that he had the grave prepared in advance, he couldn't have known in advance that he would get an answer from his coworker on the Sunday evening.
But...he could have had the gravesite somewhat prepared for "some day."

My thoughts right now are that he planned to murder his family (or at least fantasized about it enough to think it through), but that particular night suddenly became "the night" to do it.

He had to have known that she would not fit through the hatch - so if this was planned, he had to figure out what to do with the body in advance. Even if he didn't prepare the ground in advance, perhaps he knew in his mind where he would bury her when the time came to do that. What a risk he took in the timing - what if it took longer than anticipated and he was in the midst of digging when co-workers arrived? They said he was sweaty but otherwise normal.

While I lean toward he planned the murders for "some day," I'm willing to be convinced that the whole plan was to murder them that particular night. I'm trying to piece that together - would love to hear what others think about how specific his plans were.

I'm just reading through the discovery and early on, a stake out cop noted CW putting flowered print things in a bag in a car and moving some things already in the car to the bag....then later I read that the authorities gave CW's father his "gym bag" out of the Lexus (which the authorities noted as Chris Watts'). Did daddy remove some things for CW and it wasn't noticed? I mean, it doesn't really matter now, I just found it interesting.

I have a feeling CW grew up enduring lots of "training lessons" as a child. Shanann was quoted as saying Cindy Watts wasn't "very nurturing" to Chris growing up in the document as well.

It's not difficult to imagine his mother was emotionally abusive.

InTheDetails, that is a good point re: the gravesite for SW. He could have dug it or some of it ahead of time, on another day before Aug. 13.

Chris Watts plotted to kill family at a birthday party then fed and showered girls before murders | Daily Mail Online
Watts had taken the girls to a birthday party on the afternoon of Sunday, August 12, and while Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, played in the pool their father started texting co-worker Kodi Roberts.

At 5.06pm that evening, Watts set in motion his plan for disposing of his wife and daughters' bodies, as he texted Roberts that he would be making the drive out to one of the more distant oil fields that was managed by his company, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.

Shanann's father was one of the last people to see the girls, revealing he spoke to them on FaceTime on Sunday evening.

Frank Rzucek stated in an interview with law enforcement officials that he spoke with both Watts and Bella, who was eating cold pizza and candy.

A babysitter, who was the sister of the birthday boy whose party Watts and the girls attended that Sunday, also spoke with an agent with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

She said that on Saturday Watts had asked her to watch the children while he attended a Rockies game, though it was later revealed that he was actually on a date with his mistress, Nichol Kessinger.

It was her first time babysitting for the family, with the normal sitter who is a close friend of Shannon's not called in for reasons that are not stated in the reports.

The babysitter did have a different version of events as to what happened the following day though, saying that Watts left the party much earlier than he told authorities.

'[The babysitter] stated the following day, Sunday August 12, 2018, Chris, Celeste and Bella came to her home for a birthday party for her younger brother,' reads the CBI report. 'Celeste and Bella are friends of her younger brother. [The babysitter] recalled Chris and his daughters left her home at about 3.30pm.'

Watts' co-worker Roberts later told an agent with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation that it was 'unusual' that Watts had texted him on a weekend, and stated that he did arrive to the site alone on Monday morning.

If you don't wont to get "burned" or "lied to", than please don't pick a married man!
She should have refused this relationship from day one - for her own sake.

Best advice ever!
If she started to feel for him it's easy to ask to transfer, her father owned the company, or better yet put him out of her mind.
People have control of their feelings.

I am so sad still for Shanann and her babies and everyone who loved her. The texts that were private conversations, not for looking good on social media only paint a more beautiful picture of SW. The texts paint an uglier picture of CW's family. MOO, but it's coming from their own words. These docs paint a nasty picture of NK. MOO again, but I rescind all warm things about her I have previously stated. And I apologize to Amber Frey, who is in a totally different class from NK.

Absolutely. It’s actually alluded too throughout that he wasn’t treated well by his mother and that he was constantly seeking his parents approval.

I wonder if he has it now?

I’m not even halfway through the docs! Has anyone come across an interview with his sister?

NK is a rich girl. Her dad was their boss at Anadarko . Unless her dad cuts her
off, she shouldn't be hurting for money.

Could be why CW chose her as his next victim.

Right now I'm getting a vibe that he cemented this plan for this particular night, on the day that he agreed to go away for the weekend with Shan'ann and she felt encouraged. If we get the date of that text I think that will probably fall within the week after NC - when she was looking for babysitters. Because only then he knew he wouldn't have to end up going, and before that he had refused to even conceive of her suggestions of marriage counselling. There would have been no point in not going along with her suggestion if he knew then that he wouldn't have to follow through with his promises anyway.

The Sunday night was optimal for him because firstly Shan'ann was away that weekend and he had to do this on a workday if he wanted his GPS tracking to not be out of the ordinary. Also school would start poking around very early in the day if the girls registered on the Monday but didn't show up ever again and they couldn't get ahold of Shan'ann who was probably their primary emergency contact.

Not sure he could because it was right by the wellhead

I think he was in a big hurry - didn't even locate the grave a distance back from the pad

Days Before Murder, Chris Watts' Wife Was Worried: 'What If He Really Doesn't Love Me Anymore?'
“He has changed. I don’t know who he is,” she texted early on Aug. 7 of husband Chris Watts, according to a bevy of investigative documents released in the case and obtained by local media outlets.

The documents, as described by TV stations KCNC, KDVR and KUSA, vividly underline the basic narrative already laid out by Colorado authorities: Chris, 33, had grown distant from his family and infatuated with a “new love” until, at last, he could not keep them all in his life — and chose his lover.

“He hasn’t touched me all week, kissed me, talked to me except for when I’m trying to figure out what is wrong,” Shan’ann explained in a text, according to KDVR, adding, “We’ve never had a problem in our relationship like this. No joke. NEVER. THIS IS TOTAL LEFT FIELD.”

“What if he really doesn’t love me anymore?!” she texted at one point, noting later on Aug. 7 that “he said we are not compatible anymore! He refused to hug me after he said he will try to ‘work’ it out! Said he thought another baby would fix his feelings. Said, he refused couples counseling.”

Chris, his wife wrote to her friend, “said he’s not sitting on no damn couch saying what he just said to me to no stranger.”

Shan’ann was expecting a son to be named Nico. “This baby in my belly deserves his full love,” she texted her friend, who had advised her to go through Chris’ phone for signs of infidelity.

“Only thing I can think of even though I don’t think he has it in him is another girl,” Shan’ann wrote.

Yes - he found out about the trouble at 319 only on Friday afternoon when he met his colleague

IMO this thing is not about snapping, but about him being opportunistic

He'd already decided to kill them weeks before.

SW being away presented the opportunity. The leak at CERVI 319 created a perfect opportunity on Friday
