I need someone to enlighten me about these frequent posts from various members that are nothing but a period. What is the point of these posts? They take up valuable space in the threads.

I think she was probably very embarrassed and didn’t realize her sex life would be such an important part of the investigation. CW did tell her his marriage was over, and when he was with her, he behaved like it was. You don’t normally get to spend time with a committed married man and father 4-5 times a week, or talk on the phone and text as often as they did. When she gave her interview to the newspaper last week, I can’t imagine she realized so much of her personal information was going to be released to the public contradicting what she said, she was trying to protect her reputation. If CW didn’t murder his family, who knows, she might have married him. I don’t think the police should have released all this. For example, I don’t think we needed to see the texts between NK and her friend. It was personal and private to her. They’ve destroyed her life. This is 🤬🤬🤬🤬 shaming.

Very well said. Why do women get "shamed" for being with a married man? NK was lied to by a psychopath. She didn't ask for being involved in this situation.

I haven’t been able to stay current on this thread, sorry if this has already been mentioned. “The Gift of Fear” is an excellent book that discusses how to recognize “red flags”, along with tips on how to avoid or extricate yourself from dangerous relationships and situations. I’ve gifted it to many new college students.
The gift of gab is important as well I think. As in share what is happening. Like Shanann did the best she could. Enough that NUA brought hell down on the FA.

And if you don't have someone to bounce off to what is happening there are numbers to call. There are grocery clerks, servers, there are taxi drivers, there are people who will hear what you have to say. Someone will hear you. Speak your truth.
Sorry. just a thought to the universe I guess

I did one by accident I think.... iPhone probs... sorry!

She’s still a victim. She had nothing to do with the murders. I think most of the somewhat sketchy things she did were an effort at self-preservation. I think she was afraid of being implicated if she was too close to CW. But whatever she knew going into the relationship , she did not know she was getting involved with a murderer. MOO.
I disagree. Had she been asked in the first few days by the National Enquirer for information about their affair I could understand her being guarded and 'spinning' the story to her advantage. She eventually did that with the Denver Post. She went to LE because IMO she knew her name was going to be brought into a mess and this was a pre- emptive maneuver. Once she was there she should have been absolutely transparent about their relationship. It is by then too late to worry about reputation! Yet she just chose to dispense a little more information each time she went, and still did not disclose the secret calculator feature on her phone. They had to search and extract that. She lied about going to their house while SW was away, who knows what else she lied about. No, she could not have known her married boyfriend would be a murderer, but once she did know he was a suspect, she should have been much more forthcoming.

Yes there are, and thank you Colorado law enforcement for "getting on this case, ASAP"!
I will never understand a "Chris Watts".
Maybe the best thing he can look forward to is scientists trying to understand what would make anyone do this to their loving family?
He is somewhat rare.
Other than that, I am sure that he will be highly protected in whatever prison he ends up in.
Which just means, he will be kept in a small cell, with little, perhaps no, interactions with other inmates.
Let out of his cell, perhaps an hour or two a day, heavily guarded.
I am sure that for anyone, that would be hell on earth.
And yes, I really would like to know what made a loved man turn into such a monster to the people who loved him.

Imo.... we have over 2000 pages of facts.

I think usually it is someone's clean up after changing their mind, since we can't totally delete posts anymore. moo

I did too. I quoted and then the quote box was the only thing that came up. No place to type other than inside that box. Gremlins in the machine sometimes...

Thanks Dum Dum.:):)
That's the article I remember.
My incorrect name David, I cannot explain: to save face, both are common, and have 5 letters.:D (my apology with name).
Perhaps a common name, went into my memory.
MOO.
No prob with the name! I believe there is a David in the docs. Maybe a friend of CW who works in LE in some capacity in Boulder??

Okay, thank you. That makes sense. I'll try to delete them. Or you can alert if you want your post deleted.

When the data dump comes in the next several days, we are going to have more information than we could ever get through.

More? Oh, no.

Trying to catch up with all the threads and the 2000 pages... Is anyone else intrigued by the (unborn) baby's name, Nico Lee? I mean...really is it that far a stretch? It is complete speculation on my part but --- Nicole?? My speculation/conjecture being: SW knew about Nicole. I'm piecing this together with SW comments that CW was "playing" and "living the single life" (or was it "bachelor life"...I may need to revisit the exact quote). The point is...I wonder if SW gave CW "space" to play? She loved him enough to give him the space to figure it out...or did she find out about Nicole (SW was a keen woman and I believe truly loved CW from what I'm reading in these 2000pages). In any event, long, long time reader (missy bevers) and enjoy reading your posts here when I can.
Yes - the name is surely more than coincidental. I'd thought CW was the one who'd suggested the name and that SW at that point wouldn't have known AP's name (or existence?) MOO

FBI interview with C.W.
Q: when did you start falling out of love (with SW)
A: it wasn’t in the last 5 weeks. It’s been an ongoing process for probably about a year.

——————————————-
So what was happening about August/September 2017 for CW to start falling out of love?...hmmm - when was that 1st google search of Shannan by NK..1st September 2017. Was C.W. falling for NK then? MOO

Bringing this up again

Page 1139

"SW's dad wrote a statement about how CW was acting towards SW and the children. The children wanted nothing to do with him. SW's Dad said he turned the tv off to sleep and CW laid on the floor. He also said CW was mad at the children and showed it"

This lends credence to the idea that CW is emotionally immature or has narcissistic personality disorder imo. Who gets mad at their toddlers like this? They hadn't seen him in 5 weeks.

Also, in relationships, you have to give a little to get a little. Could the children tell something was amiss in his behavior? Apparently SW's parents noticed he didn't give two craps that Shanann was vomiting and feeling ill. Didn't he also refuse to go to the beach with the children? If he wanted the girls to like him, maybe wine and dine them like NK.

As a parent of a small child myself, I feel ill imagining the way he treated those children, in life and in death. Their last meal was cold leftover pizza. Really? You're about to murder your two innocent little girls and you give yourself steak on the grill and they get cold pizza. You beg to keep NK out of the media but have no qualms shoving your babies down oil hatches, then listen to a song about not killing your family.

A part of me wonders if Bella witnessed something that night. I know he premeditated the girls, but she was the only one who had defensive wounds. He even stated she woke up twice that night to ask for SW. Perhaps when he opened the door to her room to kill her, she was awake. Perhaps he decided to kill her anyways because time was of the essence and SW's flight delay complicated his planned timeline.

Didn't the cadaver dogs pick up on something near the stairs? My heart hurts for that sweet girl. CW is the worst kind of human excrement and the most pathetic excuse for a "man".

As to Bella waking up twice that night to ask if her mother was home. I have a feeling that that more relates to he tried to smother her twice?

The first time he Thought she was deceased, but then she came to and he had to do it again and therefore she had the injuries inside her mouth? I say this because another Annihilator smothered/ strangled but the person came to, and wasn't deceased so they had to smother / strangle them again.
Moo

Hearing about this book previously, on Oct 2, I ordered this book, by Gavin De Becker, from my local library.
It was first published in 1997.
After several weeks, accessing libraries throughout the State, I will receive a copy, early next week.
I'll report back about 'red flags' if appropriate.
MOO.

I’m not saying what she did was right, I’m just saying I understand why she did it. Yes, she should have been more forthcoming. But I don’t think she knew or expected that all of her personal stuff was going to be released in the document like it was, so she was still in self-preservation mode. And based on the vitriol she received both before and after the document release, I get it.

As a side note, I thought the secret calculator was only on CW’s phone? He didn’t disclose it and they had to search it, but I don’t remember them doing the same for NK’s phone.

Some of it has to be the way he was brought up, to believe apparently that he
is always entitled to have his wishes and desires met. He does not realise that once you have a spouse and dependent children it is no longer all about you. Your personal happiness may have to be deferred in order to meet their needs.

I am not able to get the quote function to work.
RE : NK being shamed for dating a married man and she didn't ask to be involved in this situation.
It appears that CW did not twist her arm to date him. It takes two people to have an affair. Documents show she searched for information about him and SW months before the affair became intimate. She knew he was married. If he pursued her she could of said she wasn't interested and walked away. IMO, if she was married she would not be happy about her husband having an affair. And she sure would not be happy if her husband were to take his mistress into her house. All that aside, she tells LE she encouraged CW to work on his marriage when in NC with SW and yet NK continues to send CW nude selfies. She is being " shamed " because she didn't just blindly stumble into a relationship with CW, she entered into the relationship knowing he was married. IMO she knew SW was pregnant and she could of cared less.

Didn't his mother pay his speeding fine and never even told him that he got one?
That is the the way to have your children learn from their mistakes, isn't it? Not.
