The one I was most disturbed by was written by his friend. I think with the name Colon?

I can understand having a hard time reconciling your friend with these actions, but to say he doesn't judge CW...wow.

If my friend kills his pregnant wife and preschool aged kids I'm judging the he11 out of him.

Moo
Exactly. The whole “don’t be judgmental” thing kinda goes out the window in circumstances like these.

We’re humans, we judge. You can bet that I’m passing judgement on a lot of people involved in this case.

Did the girls go to daycare 5 days a week? I thought they only went 2 or 3 days.

I don't know if this has been discussed, but I found it interesting how CW's parents (or his mother at least) thought Shanann had embezzled money from the business she worked at in North Carolina (something to do with wheels). Of course, I highly doubt there is any truth to that.

I am going to have to preface my posts with IIRC. I read the document pages from beginning to end like a book, and I do not have it in a searchable format.

I remember the VI (T78) mentioned her working there, and someone found the court case against the company.

Anyway, I'm not sure what all of that was about, but I found it interesting when I read it because that had been discussed on the forum, and I can't remember the conclusion that was reached at the time about the court case.
As far as I know, there was no evidence to support that this occurred.

The narrative came from people on CW’s side, and we all know that they have about as much credibility as he does.

People who were talking out of both sides of their mouths were sure outed in the discovery!!

PommyMommy... you are a treasure for real!

So while the markets been up, it takes a while to accumulate a large sum in a 401K. Not sure what Andarko matched, but they must have been contributing a lot on their own to his account. And there are limits to what one can borrow.

CW put the owness of the loan on Shanann. This simply was not possible for her to do on her own. In fact only he could have done it. And that loan would have had to have been repaid through a committed payroll deduction.
Not entirely sure where I'm going with this, except at the very least he is a liar who enjoys the victim mode. I'm not buying the financial crisis lines from him. I could even fathom that Shannan did not know about the loan taken at all.
ITA, both PommyMommy and gitana1 are right on top of things!

Thanks.

Here's what I found on Discovery Page 461:

"JEREMY said that SHANANN was always kind of strange to him, with all of her health problems. He said that she pronounced her name SHA-NAAN but her mom pronounced it SHANNON. JEREMY said that he felt SHANANN was kind of rebellious."

eta: JINX, @MassGuy !

Jeremy sounds like the one that's 'strange.' Why is someone to be called 'strange' for having health problems? What a compassionate guy he is.

I've been reading letters to the prisoner...and my eyes are bleeding.

The one that disturbed me most...was one with some sort of pseudo-philosophical nonsense about there being no real rights and wrongs. According to this genius, society has a set of rules of what is OK and what is not, but those are just made up. Apparently, right and wrong is so fluid as to be defined by whatever the heck we want it to be. Apparently, murdering your wife and three children is not always wrong. Dang! With people thinking like that , is it any wonder society is so screwed up? I guess adultery, theft, lying your tail off, molestation...and yes...even murder should be your decision to make. As long as nobody judges you. Because apparently the only real sin is someone else thinking you did something wrong.

People will talk this sh...t as long as they are not affected by such crimes by themselves. Let's see, how they would talk about it and react, if one of their relatives/friends went missing and was later discovered murdered by another person. And I'm more than glad that we have such standards (even if they are man-made) and it is not just allowed and totally okay, to kill or harm somebody, because there are no written rules by the "universe"or a "god" or whatever.

What probably happend in this case was, that the murderer wasn't able to communicate, wasn't able to be honest to other people, wasn't able to end this situation for him in a way, nobody would get harmed. He wanted a new life, but couldn't get it by ending the "old one" at least in a peaceful way. It were his problems which lead to this crime. Why should it than be okay, that other people (including his innocent children) paid with their lifes for his inabilities/deficiencies?

The Gift of Fear is a great book and IMO SW had a gut feeling when she said she thought that maybe she should just stay in NC. That gut feeling is the gift of fear - we all have that gift we just need to listen, hear and trust the alarms when they go off.
jmo

I've read that book.
True, but how many friends often suggest you gotta save the marriage due to the kids?
I highly doubt there were any signs he'd murder them or was there?

"....Inmate Watts tried to manipulate the situation by stating that he would just be real quick and he wouldn't talk with anyone. I repeated that his hour would be done upstairs. ..."
He's so damn pathetic and transparent.

I agree and I actually have very little doubt that he is the one who took the loan out. Then blamed Shanann to cover his bum. Being such a clueless liar, he lies impossible lies. Shanann cannot take the loan out from his 401k.

Anadarko matches 6% automatically. During 2016-2017, the stock market was really really great so no doubt his balance grew. He probably had a good amount in 401k, enough for $10,000 loan to be available to him to spend on his AP, without Shanann ever finding out.

IIRC, SW's father went to work at the custom rim shop when she left. I highly doubt they would have hired him if SW was stealing from the shop.

I read some of the accusations about this on various FB groups. And there was not even a specific or clearcut accusation. It was a general kind of 'she made so much money there that she must have been stealing or laundering cash or selling drugs or something' kind of a thing. With no evidence of any of the above.

The last pages in the documents where the text messages were laid out in a timeline really made me sad. Poor Shanann and those poor babies. If only her flight was cancelled, I wonder if the outcome would have been different.
Probably not. He was set to annihilate his family regardless IMO.

Yes and they also said she had an affair with her "Middle Eastern boss" while dating Chris.

If he worked at Anardarko and made roughly $65,000 a year, for 3 years, and contributed maybe 5% ... heck let’s just say he contributed 10% each check (but I HIGHLY doubt it!), he’d probably only have about $20,000 in there. Not much more than that, even if he got a match. No way he had a 401(k), or any other account, with any substantial money in it at 33 years old, with his background and financial habits and debt. And for example, if I work at ABC company and leave, I have to roll my 401(k) over to an IRA type of account. I can’t roll my 401(k) into my new 401(k) at my new job at XYZ company. Also the 52 week high for Anadarko is $76. Low $46. It’s now around $51.

In fact it made me wonder...wasn't it the same cousin who introduced CW to Shan'ann? I can't understand why she would do that if they'd had a falling out.

Wow! Such good info. Thank you for finding this!
6%.... he had a good gig. You're right, the market was at an all time high.

I agree. I don't think Shanann had a clue about that loan. Just another instance of him telling on himself. jmo

Btw.... so impressed with your sleuthing skills! This sight truly never ceases to amaze me
