• Sally ports (double gates to closely monitor the movement to and from a restricted area)

• Remote controlled sliding and lockable cell doors

I disagree. The height/weight 225 lbs was taken directly from his Colorado Drivers License, and likely his weight on date license issued. We all saw CW - he's just over 5'9, and he obviously did not weight 225 on 8/15/18 when arrested. MOO

I’m really struggling with the vitriol against NK here. She’s no angel by any means, but Chris Watts alone is to blame for all of her fantasies of a life for them together.

Watts created a fabricated tale for her - that he wanted to stay in the marriage but that SW wanted out. Why else would that have been his spin game, other than NK wanted him to work it out if possible????! If she was truly a seductress without soul, wouldn’t she take Chris any way she could, even if Chris told her the truth which was that SW was begging him to work things through with her?!! In fact a true seductress would relish a man choosing her over the wife.....

We have no idea how far he took this lie, but I’m just gonna assume, given his other actions, that he told her any lie he had to to keep her coming back. Of course now we truly know the lengths he would go to!!!

I do believe it is possible that NK didn’t want to take two little girls daddy away from their mommy, unless it truly was over between he and SW. I don’t think she had any clue what kind of monster she was dealing with, unfortunately neither did SW.

I was thinking for a while about NK’s role in it, and here is what I think.

She most likely never played any role in the killings, like the Internet is accusing her now. Simply because she was much smarter than CW. The only way to arrange something for CW, a good auto mechanic, would be to tamper with SW’s car, as she was driving it with the kids. The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that he could have pulled this, given how good he was with cars and for how long Lexus was in his possession. Yet CW never thought of it. What he decided to do instead was utterly stupid . His own idea and execution. No one could have advised him anything like this.

Second, everyone thinks that NK manipulated CW, but the tables might be totally reversed here. NK was socially at a more elevated level, NK was single and unburdened by the debt, NK was probably prepared to invest into CW’s growth. CW did not choose his ex-classmate, he went several levels higher than his own. So to a degree, NK is the victim, although in a very oblique way. Somehow, CW pulled wool over NK’s eyes and made her feel loved. And with her decision, she must have ruined her own life beyond repair now.

About obsession. I think NK was not as much “loved” as “needed”, and this if the account about CW’s gay lover is true. For CW, who worked in an all-male atmosphere and was religious, own bisexuality was probably a heavy burden. In this case, a good heterosexual partner is likely much treasured.

I suspect that CW’s and SW’s marriage was breaking apart, partially, due to CW’s wide sexual interests, and it is quite possible that he was experimenting before NK, although whether TB was his male lover or not, remains unclear to me. I am inclined to think that it is possible.

this takes two to tango she is equally accountable for her romance with chris. she knew he was married with kids. I dont think anybody held a gun to her head and andmade her stay in a relationship with him.

she is a huge knowing co-habituating component of the destruction of a marriage that ended in murder.

Ok now that I got that off my chest....

I just read more of the discovery docs. Oh how sad I am right now reading Shananns angst and pain. My theory, towards the end she was acting out more than usual, just trying to get Chris to engage with her. He was so detached like a robot and she was trying as hard as she could, just hoping for a reaction. Sometimes lashing out in anger (esp at his lack of standing up to parents re:nutgate) but also trying sweet talk and kind words too. He just kept on multi tasking with affair. I’m guessing this behavior triggered some long dormant / buried resentment he previously had with his mother (enmeshment) and that anger is what fueled his actions the night of the murders.....I’m just armchair analyzing, I’m not a shrink.

Most of us have only known Shannan, Bella, and CeCe through their tragic deaths. A video from SW's fb came up while I was looking around on line, and I hope it's ok that I talk about it. It provided a precious glimpse of this beautiful Mom with her girls just before their holiday concert last year. CW was also in the video, but minimally. It is unfathomable that he could destroy such a beautiful, loving family. For me, it allowed me to see them, and hear them, and hold them in my heart in a way that I was somehow not able to before seeing this. May God have mercy on all of the broken hearts left behind.

Do we know why Shanann needed neck surgery? Wondering if he had physically abused her in the past.

The 2017 surgery was explained on SW FB /SM (Sept 2017) and the hardware also detailed in her autopsy report. Info also reported in prior threads.

Oh my goodness. I remember reading a term in Bella's autopsy about spots on her head. Possibly his boot tread. I'm going to go back and check what that term was.

Bella's autopsy saids, in the section "Skull and Brain,"Reflection of the scalp reveals patchy areas of likely Tardieu spots. These areas are incised to reveal superficial blood collections within the fascial planes. There do not appear to be any contusions with the fascial planes."

It is amazing how he can sit and lie to the FBI, KNOWING they have his phone records. Does he not understand they can see he sexted her day and night ? How can one man be so intelligent and so stupid, all at the same time?

Telling them he went to the Ball game, naming each friend who went, and it was all a lie. He didn't realize they were going to be called and interviewed?

He is very much like Casey Anthony, walking the homicide detectives down the hallway to her office at Universal....

Also - betting NK deleted texts long before she knew the body count. She was lying to her friends too- she knew a romance with a married man was nothing to be proud of, not at all the same as knowingly deleting evidence from a quadruple murder......

Not only that, she was searching Amber Freys net worth and book deal 2 days after he was arrested.

She's absolutely not a murderer. But she made a conscious decision to lie to LE, deleting all her messages with CW and googling to find out if LE could retrieve her deleted messages.

Her interview with the media was full of lies too.

As far as NK goes:

I believe that she was manipulated by CW.

I don’t believe that she had any clue about what was going to happen.

My frustration with her comes from several things that she did:

She deliberately deleted text messages, going as far as to actually Google the ability of LE to recover them.

She Googled Amber Frey, in an apparent effort to both profit, and explore the viability of her basically becoming a celebrity.

She conducted an interview in which she lied, painting a portrait of herself as a hero.

As we now know from these discovery pages, she was in fact outed by Anandarko and did not come forward herself.

However, Chris Watts is the villain here, not NK.

She’s just not a hero either.

According to this woman Molly Golightly, who claims she has sources close to mainstream media and law enforcement, there's a very horrifying reason why police wanted CW's boot print.

Does anyone know why a vaginal swab was taken of Celeste during the autopsy? It was going to be compared to CW’s DNA. I don’t want to believe he was molesting her but there had to be a reason. I don’t think one was taken from Bella, but I would have to go back and check.

If I was in her position my instinct would be to delete messages as well. Also, understandable why she lied to the media. Who the heck wants to be targeted for life for having the misfortune to have an a affair with a family annihilator?

The affair was basically noted as the primary motive, even if in part. Certainly it's the only motive LE has publicly commented on. I would say that makes it a reasonable discussion point.

Having said that, I don't hold NK at all responsible for what happened. Doesn't mean I like or have any respect for her.
