exploring ways to cash in on your love rivals murder by your lover doesn't sound like much of a victim to me.

moo

An opportunist! Profiting off dead children and a pregnant woman! I mean how low can you go really? Blood money.

This is something I haven’t seen/read. Could someone point me to where there’s more than the 1900page discovery pfd?
I thought I had read it all and I’ve been reading comments with pages long after. Was there maybe additional discovery added?
Thanks in advance[

There were two sets of page numbers. One on the PDF file and the other on the actual document. You can probably find it if you look again with that in mind.

IMO it was because NK was the "other woman" and thought she had "won" when SW "left" and left her ring behind. NK claimed in her media interviews she had encouraged CW to "work on his marriage" after she saw pictures of the family but we all know that was a bunch of baloney-- she had searched out their social media a long time ago. She continued to see him after she knew he was married with kids. She probably wanted to believe CW loved her more than his wife and she wanted to think the marriage really was broken up. NK might have even gotten to know CW well enough to know he might try to recycle the ring and give it to her. So her first thought was to tell him to pawn it and get some money and then they would go have fun somewhere with that money and CW would forget all about SW. She was a typical mistress IMO with hate in heart for the wife and no respect for the relationship that had just ended (CW probably did his part to build up the lies about how awful his married life had been too). I'm not convinced NK had any knowledge CW had murdered SW but it all looks very bad on NK now that "pawn it" was her first thought. MOO.

Absolutely

sorry I put the answer in with your question.

OK - but NK had no information relevant to where the wife or kids were

So from her perspective, in the context of a missing persons investigation I can see why she might not have acted until wednesday

What we don't know is whether she acted at all. e.g. was it the police that found her?
She could have called 8/13. She could have called 8/14. But she needed time to process things. After all, this could be embarrassing to her.

From 8/15 (Polygraph was 11:00 am:

Pg 513 (Discovery pg 580) –Approximately 3 hours before the polygraph was scheduled to begin (8:00 A.M.), I received a phone call from Anadarko Regional Security Manager, TONY HUSKEY. HUSKEY advised he had reviewed CHRIS’ computer network traffic and it was possible CHRIS had started a relationship with an Anadarko contracted employee. HUSKEY advised he located emails between CHRIS and the contracted employee, who he identified as NICHOL “NIKKI” KESSINGER (Age 30; ). HUSKEY said it appeared a relationship between CHRIS and KESSINGER started around June of 2018.

And didn't she also have a "houseguest" that Monday nite, "Jim---"? Perhaps CW called 5 times but she never answered? Busy or asleep? Sorry, after a few days I've finally arrived at an active thread here. Between trying to catch up, read the discovery docs and working i am terribly behind and I apologize if I be misstated or repeated anything. Most of the discovery revelations I have gotten here. Can't read it all and try to keep up.
Oh she answered. Page 1,003:

2:06 Incoming 1 minute

PDF page 506, Discovery page 573

NICHOL recalled next talking to CHRIS on Monday, August 12. She said she did not hear a lot from CHRIS that day. He texted and said it was a busy day. Nothing he said was alarming that day. She said she left work at 3 pm according to her timecard. She returned home to a good friend, JIM (she refused to provide his last name and said he does not know anything about this event and does not know CHRIS). JIM was her house guest on Monday. She said JIM is a very close friend but they do not date each other.

I swear in the report it says she had a 51 minute phone conversation with CW at some point, was that the 13th or 14th?

We don't know if she called at all.

Shanann Watts Pleaded with Husband to Stop 'Living the Bachelor Life' Weeks Before He Killed Her
“lf you are done, don’t love me, don’t want to work this out, not happy anymore and only staying because of kids, I NEED you to tell me,” she wrote.

“l just don’t get it. You don’t fall out of love in 5 weeks.” Minutes later she typed out, “How can you sleep? Our marriage is crumbling in front of us and you can sleep.”

Rourke said in court that in the weeks prior to her death, Shanann — who was 15 weeks pregnant — focused on saving their crumbling relationship, giving Chris books on self-help and relationship counseling. But Chris had already mentally checked out of the marriage and ignored them, said Rourke, even throwing one of the books “in the garbage.”

Rourke said at Chris’ sentencing, “While Shanann texted the defendant over and over again in the days and weeks leading up to her death attempting to save her marriage, the defendant secreted pictures of his girlfriend into his phone and searched and texted her at all hours of the night.”

And while Shanann was caring for her daughters and working at her part-time sales job, Chris spent the time going to bars, restaurants, car museums and sand dunes with his mistress, Nichol Kessinger, as well as “searching the internet for secluded vacation spots to take his new love — and researching jewelry,” Rourke said.

So I just finished skimming through the discovery report and wow. Just wow. The summary of the electronic communications, searches etc at the end of the report is remarkable and utterly sad. They clearly do not like NK. To point out that that was "by no means the only time she searched for adult videos" (or something to that effect). How is that relevant? They just wanted to punish her IMO

This weirded me out too. And the description of her voicemail as "creepy giggling" seems to me so subjective. I mean it's completely possible to me with the information that she /is/ creepy and a part of some horrible plot, but it's also possible from what little I've gleamed that the only thing she is guilty of is being with a married man who she had no idea had that kind of murderous capacity in him (which it seems like most people would never have suspected of him). And that her giggling was the kind of baby-flirty voice some women take on with love interests? I don't understand this document dump really.

Sometimes other prisoners kill inmates.
jmo
Honestly, I don't like the idea that another inmate kills him. Actually, CW should live a miserable life in prison for a long time and every day to be reminded of his crime and what he lost. MOO

(Hi everyone :). In case anyone is wondering, I have not posted here yet because I’m still reading the discovery documents (WOW) and am only on page 700 and don’t want any spoilers. I also want to be able to be completely informed about everything before I read and comment further.

Additionally, I have not been able to read any of the threads here since the hearing and PC last Monday so I also have 8 days and thousands of posts to catch up on.

I will also then of course have infinite responses to everything I’ve read in the discovery and within these posts.

So I guess I’ll be able to join you guys in a couple weeks...I don’t know how all you guys are keeping up with all this! I’m reading literally every chance I get.)

PS- I WILL say that my heart breaks for Shanann a million times over.

Miss you! Hurry back.

PS. I'm not done reading yet either, it's taking forever

Oh, I agree, but I also think it’s likely that she had that little voice inside her telling her it was wrong, and probably, once in awhile she told him that, but then did what she knew she shouldn’t, anyway.
I really believe some people do not have that little voice in their head, not the good voice anyway.

It is really creepy looking at his handprints in the discovery.

I wish there was someone on here who does palm reading as it is very strange to me. But I know a little more than nothing about it except I have had it done and it was interesting,

His signature is interesting as well as is SW’s. Is it on the documents about the HOA court case?

I don’t either.

In one of the early days of the investigation Sandy Rzucek phoned the police to let them know that CW and Shannan had a family court date coming up. I don't think I've seen discussion here about that, does anyone know what it was about?

I don’t either. Not that I care what happens to CW, but something is very wrong with a prison system that accepts, allows, and expects violence from within. Our prisons should be safe and secure.
