Video Shows Chris Watts Lying to Cops After Family Was Reported Missing: 'I Couldn't Sleep at All'
A newly-released police body camera video from inside Chris Watts‘ home shows the triple-murderer feigning concern about his missing wife and two daughters hours after he murdered them.

“I couldn’t sleep at all last night,” said Watts, turning to the officer. “I missed them throwing chicken nuggets at me, honestly, last night.”

Other footage shows Watts speaking to an FBI agent inside his home, telling them Shannan had said she had plans with the girls before they went missing.

“That’s when I rolled out of bed, and she pretty much said, ‘I’ll be taking the kids to a friend’s house, and I’ll be back later,'” he told the agent.

Did your first wife make the same as you? Did you leave her for another gal? Those things also factor in. People should have to pay if they leave or ruin the marriage, especially when the dad leaves and he makes all the money. but if the wife makes more than the hubby, she pays CS if they don't live with her. A lot of couples make the same so they don't pay each other. It makes sense if one parent is doing all the work and the kids are living with them.

I made more, and no, I did not leave her for another girl. She filed for divorce. Thanks for the info. I just assumed someone had to pay something to someone.

I've been self employed my entire adult life, there is no tax bracket which deems that a self employed person must pay any certain amount of tax, re your 30%. One of the main problems of being self employed, before ocare is that most self employed ppl had no groups to share health care costs with, so they paid higher prices as independents. And self employed ppl have to pay the % of FICA that employed ppl get paid by their employer. SW could probably write off a lot of her products for business use. Probably could write off the expenses if she had a home office, and probably phone expenses. There is no way I can see to estimate how much of SW's income was net or gross income, we just haven't seen her tax returns, nor should we.

Regarding child support, we had a Colorado Attorney here early on that might be able to answer? @Bill Carson

i wonder how they move him, by bus, or plane? Maybe it depends on the distance, logically, but I heard there are very long bus trips to move inmates around.

This was quite confusing to me to be honest and as a pretend juror, I think this video is actually pro-CW. It does look like he's just loading his tools for the day. The truck is very visible yet no hint of the bodies. I'm just assuming there's more footage that MSM isn't releasing and we haven't seen since the discovery was pulled.

I agree. Also recall that CW allegedly loaded the bodies into the truck from the opposite end (drivers side) of the vehicle not seen and/or no full view in the video.

Who know's what would have happend to her, if she had been alone with him or if Shannan had forgotten something in her car and she had stepped just right into the "scene". And I can't help, but somehow he looks also like a small child who was offended by something or somebody. It's weird.

My state just started considering both parents’ incomes in the last couple years, so maybe it is different now. It was just a percentage based on number of children until then, but I did make more than my first wife. I am not sure how it worked if salaries were the same and there is 50/50 parenting time.

One thing that was very prominent in Nichol's interview that struck a chord with me was when she said something along the lines of "you're going to see your wife fix it with her and when he you have the kids be with your kids play with them" almost suggesting I'm not going to hang out with you if you have/with your kids.... she acted as if when he was with his wife or children she was going to punish him, and that is just my interpretation or my impression from what she said and how she said it. Another thing that chapped my you know what was the fact that she had to tell him to "fix it with his wife or be with his children"? Wtf.

RW doesn’t waste any time in criticizing SW...very sad

Even worse, he later tells investigator that he's never personally witnessed any of SW's alleged bad behavior (i.e., nutgate), and that he loved her and got along well with her. Also stated it very unlikely SW would ever hurt her children, and couldn't say either way whether or not SW would hurt herself. IMO, RW another greatly influenced/manipulated by Cindy.

I was posting on the wrong thread and I want to say thank you to PommyMommy for helping me out, I posted this earlier tonight so may be out of context but I copied and pasted it here..........Yeah he clearly never had any real relationships except for Shannan who treated him like gold and he fed off of how she treated and portrayed him and then when he found somebody else that gave him some attention he was like a little kid in a candy store who just needed more, a typical narcissist, who is nothing but SB, more than some of the most well known serial killers, he is probably going to go down in history as the most selfish person on the planet!!! And just to add a little bit more salt to what I said ..he is nothing without Shanann and Her babies, it is totally apparent.. his pictures his interviews and his actions especially of what a f****** waste of life he is!! ( I hate saying/judging like that but it is just so obvious)

*Notice the timeline - he texted this before he was confronted with NUA or LE. This was what he was going to say to LE whenever it was that he had planned to notify LE of his missing family - Shanann went to visit her friend and forever disappeared.
