First of all, PommyMommy, you are so wonderful, but second, Chris did not say that to him! We saw the interview! So, if the Watts know they are lying, don’t they realize their conversations are on tape, and they will be instantly proven to be liars? I don’t get it. I watched CW tell his Dad he heard a commotion, he ran up the stairs and the kids were both “gone,” but he told the cops he walked back up the stairs and into his bedroom and noticed Shanann strangling CeCe on the baby monitor. What is the matter with these Watts people?

@Larry Levine This move to a new prison, for his safety- only his victims (Shanann's family included) know where he has gone . Is there any reason they have to keep it secret? Where do you think he is, and is there any place that is really safe other than solitary? Do you think they have sent him back to N.C?.

Highly unlikely he's on his way to N.C. Why would they want him? His crimes and conviction is out of Colorado. No state DOC wants to inherit another state's problem. He will turn up. He's probably in transit to his new home. CO DOC has five level 5 facilities to hold lifers. Based on his classification, its looks like that is where he will be going.

Due to security and safety concerns, the DOC doesn't annouce moves in advance, or announce destinations, as there are concerns with all prisoner transfers of someone possibly trying to break an inmate out.

I've always thought this conversation was coached. Perhaps in the car on the way to the PD from the airport, "Dad, I can't explain right now but just follow my lead."

Second interview with NK. Full video.

She brings in her two phones and is asked if they can look at everything and she wants to know why. She’s soooo casual. She said she had no reason to delete anything else from her phone. The reason she deleted “all that stuff with Chris is because he was making me feel really uncomfortable and I didn’t want to see it in my phone anymore”.

She was specifically asked if she ever made any comments regarding children, dislike of children or love of children. She finds a text to her best friend, Charlotte, made “weeks ago”. It was in fact August 7. The officer says she references that he has 2 kids and she doesn’t like that because she wants to have that experience with somebody else? She says she wasn’t sure if he was the one she wanted to be with because he’d done everything. “It would be really nice to kind of, like, have kids and have my own marriage and all of that stuff”.

She said, “I really wanted them to fix it. I would have just, like, left the situation”.

She says she lost her job yesterday. She hopes people don’t see her name on a resumé and won’t hire her. “They told me that they would keep me and then they called me back and let me go. They said they let me go because they hired me to do a contract job and now that contract was over”. [What an amazing coincidence ... and pigs will fly]

CW gives his consent for the dogs and their handlers to enter the house. Prior to the dogs entering, he takes officers on a walkthrough of the house.

Poor little Dieter is clearly distressed. His barking is different and occasionally almost sounds like a cry at the end.

Hate to admit it, but I couldn’t hold back the laugh. CW is so stupid! Like he ever wrote a text to SW about the kids whereabouts like this before, “if you take the kids somewhere, please let me know where they are at!” It’s so obvious he’s setting up his concerned father alibi. “See, I didn’t know my kids were dead.” Dumbass.

He is as stupid as a block of wood, and Shanann must have known this, thus the “wearing the pants in the family”, taking control of the finances, taking care of the house and the kids and working outside of the home. Somebody’s got to be in charge and she knew she couldn’t depend upon him to do things. God bless her, she loved the man...and he betrayed her. The worst.

I agree! That neighbor was mostly watching CW.... with a WTF look on his face, IMO. Also, besides the crazily-guilty-looking, hands-on-his-head pose, I also noticed that several times CW turned away from the neighbor, back towards the front door, and made a WTF kind of face to himself. Eyes super big..... so, so, so guilty looking throughout all of this...
