In my opinion, when he carries the bodies to the cab, he is crouched over behind the truck.

He should be more visible behind the tray but you can hardly see him - the truck is not that high!

I think she is simply innocent. She has that confidence when the officer is discussing why she was suspected. It doesn't even trouble her.

I was interested in what you said about Watts not falling neatly into any category of sociopath/narc and tend to agree that this was not a rage killing.

We have to follow the evidence here.

There is no overkill or sexual attack. The murderers were very controlled. So no sadism or rage. The point was to kill them cleanly to have them out of the way. The murders were not a goal in themselves.

Re your comment that no obvious abuse was present.

I suspect this is because he was very controlled and concealing. The neighbour gives us for the first time an insight that he would get very angry in fights. Enough for the neighbour to believe SW had left CW to get away from him. Also SWs text message of not feeling safe.

I suspect CW used displays of anger. Sociopaths and Narcs do this as a control and drama mechanism.

But he reserved this for SW

Often this anger is not really experienced. It is simply a display that the narc uses.

The NK interview is painful. She never grasps what the the detective's questions are getting at. I don't even get the sense she is purposely evading. She's so caught up in her own drama, she doesn't hear a thing. The detective does not care what her friends have figured out. She's so annoying. I'm only a half hour in and I would like that half hour of my life back. I'll have to listen to the rest later.

The act is filmed from the baby monitor in Watts' bedroom, which is where and how he claimed to have witnessed the act.

I found that as well. Self-absorbed is what I got from the little bit I watched. It also doesn't seem like she understands the gravity of the situation and doesn't appreciate that children and a pregnant woman are dead. IMO

Yikes! The mask is full blown off here. He wishes he could kill her, too. Thank God the police were there or she would likely be dead, too.

The smartest thing she did was call the police, if looks could kill...she was looking at ending up next to SW in the shallow grave. Seriously. He already murdered his wife and children, killing this one would be even easier. If not for her, he might have gotten away with this. If he hired a Boss Defense Attorney, created reasonable doubt..but he just didn't have time...she busted him.

I don't think so...she thinks she was different and the love of his life. He killed his family for her. She is beyond arrogant and I believe she thinks of herself as a goddess. It's disgusting.

Don't throw tomatoes at me, but I want them to keep him safe 1) just on the off chance (doubtful, I know) that he will someday reveal what really happened and why, and 2) I want to see a study of his psychological makeup as it relates to other known family annihilators.
