I'm definitely interested in this . . . I'm going through everything public about her work history right now to see if I can figure this out . . . I'm assuming she saw/met Chris somehow in 2017 and then googled Shanann, but this case is so strange I'm willing to entertain the possibility she heard about Shanann, saw Chris' picture on FB and pursued him
Please share if you can figure it out and find a way to document it. Have you discovered where we learned NK had been working at Anadarko for a year?

I remember hearing CW say, when describing how he strangled SW, “I got on top of her...” I can’t remember which interview, though. Sorry. But at the time, I did think this may be a partial truth. He climbed on top of SW after she fell asleep and rendered her immobile before she realized what was happening to her. Hence, no fighting back.
I also believe he killed the girls before Shanann got home because he didn’t want to lose his intent to kill her. Once he killed the girls he knew he had to kill Shannan.

Something horrifying, although the way he threw out his family, I guess no one should be surprised - the trauma dog showed interest all the way down the stairs, the dog handler said. He probably dragged her down the stairs, not even one last carry as he removed her from the house. The lack of dignity he showed his family is staggering. He must have hated them so much.

@Layla123

@NuttMegg

Per NK's 8/16/18 Interview with CBI, she told him to pawn the rings on Monday during the day or evening, Discovery page 575. Per her interview with the Denver Post, she said she didn't even consider Shan'ann had done anything but left for the day at that time, and wouldn't have thought she was missing until Tuesday, but on Monday evening she saw the news reports about the pregnancy.

There is a screenshot of recovered texts about the wedding ring that would have a timestamp, but I cannot locate them.

ETA: There is a call log of a 51 minute long call between NK & CW from 11:09 on Monday (8/13) night, and then shortly after midnight NK googles regarding the missing Shan'ann, and then has a call of 10 minutes early Tuesday (8/14) morning at 2 am with CW. At 9:30 AM Tuesday, CW puts the last photo of NK into the Secret Calculator app. At noon Tuesday, NK googles the case for 4 hours, and at 5pm if "cops can trace text messages". She reports that Tuesday was when she initiated her data deletions. On Wednesday morning 8/15/18, after speaking with her father, NK contacts LE for the first time. From several different directions, evidence mounts, a confession (partial) emerges, and CW is arrested Wednesday evening.

The call/text log information is gleaned from the digital data timeline at the end of the Discovery document. I cannot cite page numbers at the moment.

There are day/date match errors throughout the Discovery from various sources. It appears that NK says she facetimed with CW Monday night, which may be the same as the 51 minute call, I couldn't say.

11 a.m. he is at the police station with his father, and we can hear from both of the interviews that they must be next door because during silence, if you listen closely, you can hear that interviews with each other. Specifically from her room, you can hear Tammy interviewing inmate Watts.

That must have been very interesting that they could hear each other through the walls but could not hear perhaps what they were saying.

I'm interested in knowing the date that she started there but I don't think she knew anything about him until meeting him at work. She had only recently come out of a bad relationship. He was the one obsessed with her and wanted a future so bad with her that he murdered his family to be with her. Imo

This case does bear striking similarities to that one.

Coleman did far more planning, but likely killed for similar reasons.

There are numerous cases involving “family annihilators,” but I think that one is probably the closest in terms of similarity.
Very similar, CC also has victim blaming odd parents. I posted this on another thread, I apologize if redundant. I read in a legal brief that in the search of all the families computers they found a nude picture of the girlfriend on his father’s computer.

I won’t allow myself to go there. The thought of CW being in that house alone with those two precious little girls for hours after he smothered them is so disturbing to me. And then following through by killing their mother when she came home? I don’t want to allow these thoughts to permeate in my consciousness until we know for certain what happened. It’s too awful.

Thank you to the person who posted it, can't find the post as this thread is moving so fast. I'm pedantic so a couple of questions:

No water in the girls' toilet - what is that all about? Water in the tank, but bowl is completely dry. I'm thinking even if the dog had been locked in there, he's a little one so couldn't drink out of the bowl?

Curtains - do people tend to close the curtains to keep out the sun in August there too, or do you think it was to try to hide any visible evidence? And why don't LE pull them open? It would drive me crazy, trying to work in the dark like that.

The dog handler knew exactly what was going on.
The ensuite in my spare bedroom goes dry (tank is still full) if it has not been used for a while. Maybe they did not use that bathroom.

Generally, these guys kill the biggest threat first. Shanann represented that thread, both in a physical sense, but also in a strategic one.

Unless there is information released to the contrary, I think SW was the first victim.

I know CW said a couple of times that SW doesn't talk to the girls when she's away on her business trips because they get upset and cry for her. Have we heard that from her family or maybe one of her friends as well? Do we know for a fact that's a true statement? I took it as true because it made sense to me but now I can't remember if that only came from Chris.

But then again, IF she called and he wouldn't let her talk or see the kids, then she would for SURE check on them when she got home and she would see them dead, which would cause a loud uproar and fight, which we know didn't happen. I thought at first he may have killed the kids first but now I think he killed SW first in her sleep. The only way I could see the opposite is if maybe she didn't check on them when she got in for fear of waking them up so she didn't realize they were dead. I agree with @MassGuy that CW wouldn't take the chance of her knowing they were dead and then freak out and be able to call for help. But then again, he's the dumbest murderer of all time so who knows for sure.

I thought it was verified that they were supposed to start that Monday. What is the source that they weren't supposed to start until the 20th? That can't be right.

My guess to the dry toilet bowl is she caught them playing in it and that was the easiest way to stop it. As I the curtains, I have no idea. They did live in a very tight neighborhood, maybe they were closed for privacy. I am with you on wanting them open if I were working there.

They were, hence the phone call by CW to say they wouldn’t be attending, and the multiple phone calls by Shanann’s mother to see if they showed up at school that day.

They were supposed to be in school, instead, they were submerged in oil :(

And CW walked into her office to introduce himself without his wedding ring on his finger! We need those dates verified! All of them! CW is such a monster, I don’t think any woman should have been with him. I’m having a hard time getting angry at his many AP’s. As far as I’m concerned, they did SW a favor! She was too good for him, and so were his children! If only SW figured it out sooner.

Discussion on social media that kindergarten started on the 20th.
The significance being his agreeing to go to Cervi that morning is not in conflict with agreeing to be there for Bella’s first day. The 13th was not kindergarten but daycare for the week.

Why aren’t y’all showing more interest in this? If NK only worked at Ansdarko for 4 months, why would she be googling SW in 2017? I thought she worked at Anadarko for a year. Was that ever verified?
Not sure if it needed to be verified. And personally, I am tired of talking about NK!

We don’t know for sure that there were multiple, but I believe there were.

If that’s the case, they had no idea that he was married, and I can’t fault them for that.

I beleive the 13th was the first day back to school for the fall session for BOTH girls. But yes, Kindergarden started on the 20th.
