So he was actually assaulted???? I want details. Is that bad?
I think we all hope that his time isn’t easy, but this probably isn’t the place to express that sentiment.

But sure, I’m curious too.

Yes my first concern is always the safety of the staff. I hope they were ok. It was first reported as attempt/s. Now it seems that an actual assault happened. That's what I would like clarified.

Second interview with NK. Full video.

She brings in her two phones and is asked if they can look at everything and she wants to know why. She’s soooo casual. She said she had no reason to delete anything else from her phone. The reason she deleted “all that stuff with Chris is because he was making me feel really uncomfortable and I didn’t want to see it in my phone anymore”.

She was specifically asked if she ever made any comments regarding children, dislike of children or love of children. She finds a text to her best friend, Charlotte, made “weeks ago”. It was in fact August 7. The officer says she references that he has 2 kids and she doesn’t like that because she wants to have that experience with somebody else? She says she wasn’t sure if he was the one she wanted to be with because he’d done everything. “It would be really nice to kind of, like, have kids and have my own marriage and all of that stuff”.

She said, “I really wanted them to fix it. I would have just, like, left the situation”.

She says she lost her job yesterday. She hopes people don’t see her name on a resumé and won’t hire her. “They told me that they would keep me and then they called me back and let me go. They said they let me go because they hired me to do a contract job and now that contract was over”. [What an amazing coincidence ... and pigs will fly]

Why is she so adamant about not turning her device over. Her sarcasm " well if that will make it easier" like she's being put out,and inconvenienced.
This is a quadruple homicide investigation.
They need all the help they can get,and she's all snotty about it.
Like, like, like she doesn't want to help them get to the bottom of this.
Four lives snuffed out,and she's the one who is inconvienienced.

11 a.m. he is at the police station with his father, and we can hear from both of the interviews that they must be next door because during silence, if you listen closely, you can hear that interviews with each other. Specifically from her room, you can hear Tammy interviewing inmate Watts.

That must have been very interesting that they could hear each other through the walls but could not hear perhaps what they were saying.
Did you notice how RW turned to try to hear the discussion through the wall when he was first in the room alone?

I beleive the 13th was the first day back to school for the fall session for BOTH girls. But yes, Kindergarden started on the 20th.
Ah. That would make sense if that is accurate. I have been so confused about the start of school date. SW seemed like the type that would have the first day of kindergarten signs, outfit ready, etc. I was surprised there wasn't more first day of kindergarten chatter, shock if Bella missed her first day. So I guess that is why they missed first day back at school/day care - but that CW may have been accurate in saying Bella was supposed to start kindergarten next week. (Conveniently leaving out he had unenrolled them from the Primrose program that day.) I think. The school facts have always felt a bit blurred to me.

I think the school was expecting them and didn't she ask CW to prepare their backpacks?

Yes, it has been confusing. It is a private day care that offers Kindergarten. Being only 4, I do not think she could have enrolled in public schools yet because she was too young. IMO

I’d like to know if any neighbours or friends have had time to reflect and remember if there have been inconsistencies with CWs behavior in past years. Eg: did they notice he lied or covered up things, were they suspicious of any behavior or are they just as stunned that this horrid murder came from left field?

This strikes me as very important! I hope a reputable, excellent writer or film maker will tackle this horrifying case and investigate the "why" and the history.

They were supposed to start on 08/13.

“On 08/15/18 I, CBI Agent Matthew Sailor, responded to Pimrose School....Pimrose is the school of Bella and Celeste Watts, who did not show up for the first day of school on 08/13/18.

Yes, the discussion I read was that when Shanann asked CW to go Monday for her first day of kindergarten she was referring to the 20th so his text to the coworker about going to Cervi was not in conflict with being there for her ‘first day” and not proof of premeditation. He was not expected to go to with them to the school on the 13th but on the 20th.

Generally, these guys kill the biggest threat first. Shanann represented that thread, both in a physical sense, but also in a strategic one.
Unless there is information released to the contrary, I think SW was the first victim.
And yet, in so many ways he's different from the others.

Here you go people!

Larry Levine director of Wall Street Prison Consultants gives commentary on CNN Headline News regarding Chris Watts who was convicted in Colorado of murdering his pregnant wife and 2 young daughters being moved to a Federal prison after being assualted in a Denver prison.
Great interview! What is the function of that wide leather belt they strapped around CW’s waist?

I don't think he ever stopped rocking and hugging himself. Except when he had his hands on his head.

Oh the irony! Think of the book he threw into the trash that Shannan had given him "Hold me Tight". Abhorrent!

Not sure if it needed to be verified. And personally, I am tired of talking about NK!

Does anyone know who exactly contacted the school to let them about the absence?

Something horrifying, although the way he threw out his family, I guess no one should be surprised - the trauma dog showed interest all the way down the stairs, the dog handler said. He probably dragged her down the stairs, not even one last carry as he removed her from the house. The lack of dignity he showed his family is staggering. He must have hated them so much.
I got the feeling he felt NOTHING for them. Which is even more chilling.

The ensuite in my spare bedroom goes dry (tank is still full) if it has not been used for a while. Maybe they did not use that bathroom.

CW told police in the video that they locked the bathroom off as one time the girls smeared Vaseline all over the bathroom

I don't know where that discussion took place, but it seems factually incorrect according to MassGuy's post above. I don't think Shanann would have texted CW on Friday unless she wanted him to make work arrangements on Friday for the Monday. Otherwise she had over a week to speak to him about it. It seems his agreement to go for counselling and read her book and write her a letter encouraged her to include him in their plans for Monday.
