I would believe the neighbor over anyone else that new them, frankly. You can lie to anyone about anything; we are so in love, can't wait for kids, so HAPPY. Neighbor like nah, they fight all day I HEAR THEM! I believe the neighbor 100%.

I do too. The neighbor seemed like a no BS kind of guy and he called it really early on

Help please!
I am trying to figure out how to record it being only Thursday, when I look for the show on Friday it does not list it yet.
Do I just go to 20/20 and just put it on record at this point.
You could hit record series. That way it records all episodes including the one with Shannan's parents.

Yes, I understand. I was referring to the investigators "digging in deeper" and finding more information about the case. Once the case is closed, I don't believe they would continue to investigate unless the case was reopened. That is what I was referring to in the OP.
I certainly did not mean to imply that now that it's over the family will no longer suffer the loss or forget about their loved ones. I don't believe I said anything or made any reference to that at all. Ever.
My appologues.

Welcome, I don’t think her family did. When this first happened I remember them commenting that they thought he was a good dad.
Yes, and very likely he learned to be by picking up cues and learning that from Shanann. Imo

He requested GP. He may have wished to be killed.

I believe this was clarified to specify that Jeffrey Dahlmer requested GP

I don't think we know if that is even an option for CW or if he has any say in the matter.

That Wednesday, he returned to work. Maybe he went to her apt for a lunchtime quickie?

Shanann had ultrasound at 7 pm. I assume he went with her?

@ 7:25 pm NK searched 'marrying your mistress'.

@9:54 pm Shanann told NUA and Cassie - 'He said we are not compatible anymore.' 'He refused to hug me. Refused couple's counselling.'

Yet, less than 24 hours later CW has completely changed his tune to SW and is now very cooperative as if to simply placate her. It also appears he has set the plan in motion at that time

Where I’m at, we refer to such houses as “cookie cutter”. They sell because the builder offers creative financing. If not, they linger on the market.
Yes, I assume that's everywhere. They just don't build houses like they used to. Where I grew up in NY, the beautiful hills and farmland I used to play in are now filled with huge mansions. They all sold for over a million, but are now worth half that. I was inside two of those houses while being built and it's amazing how poor the construction was. You would never know by looking on the outside. Imo

My understanding is that the neighbour had tools stolen from his truck and thats why he changed the angle. IIRC, CW didn't park on the drive, but around the corner, to save waking the girls when he left for work.

Your last sentence ... So the question is, why did he pull into the driveway on Monday morning? The girls should have been asleep like every other morning, and he wouldn’t have wanted to wake them. So, this is a lie for 8/13, because they were dead that morning, as we know.

Also, I thought he backed the truck bed end into the garage so he could load the bodies from inside the garage. Why would he carry or drag any bodies outside the garage and risk it being caught on camera. That’s why we can’t see him loading the bodies, even though some on the internet claim we can. I think the only things he’s loading within sight of the camera are the gas can or other work-related things. And I know it was 5:30am—early—but he's damn lucky more people weren’t up and driving or running or walking by. Imagine if a neighbor was up and happened to come by the driveway!

Thank you, I was just trying to get the one episode but I will do that., I know I can only record so much because then it gets full or something so I try to delete as I watch what I recorded. But this one I probably will have to watch a few times!

Going on 9 years ago, I had an internship at WCADF, where drew Peterson was held whilst awaiting trial for murder. I was finishing up post-grad studies and one of my first weeks there, noticed Drew angrily gesturing to the man above and across from his cell (he was kept in the medical unit, a circular-type pod where you’re under constant surveillance.) Chatting with a guard (my role was peripheral to hers) she mentioned his rage tantrum was regarding “the poo-caso” an inmate who, like Picasso, made artwork. Except his was with poop. All over the walls of his cell.

Drew P. Was convinced the guards and prison hierarchy had it out for him and had intentionally placed him in a cell facing the artist, to annoy him.

Drew had a TV directly above him, a nicely placed cell. None are pleasant, as they are literally fish bowls, and his persecution complex reared it’s head again and again over perceived slights.

Point being, even if CW is NOT treated poorly (like if he’s in isolation as Drew was), these narcissists find tiny inconveniences and annoyances to be a direct insult, they presume everyone is out to get them. So even if CW is happy in a solo cell, locked down 23/1, he will be irritated, IMO, by the tiniest things.

The police needs to answer all questions sooner than later. About that call from Frederick, for example. A closed case does not mean a crystal-clear case.

I remember all high-profile cases that remain unclear. They are never closed in people's minds. Several people have been arrested very recently, btw, years after questions were first raised.

I just finished listening to a nearly 30 minute video of LE on a phone call to SW's long time friend Christina in Hawaii. She's the one who stayed with them for 2 months to help while SW recovered from surgery. They also spoke 'daily'. She said he was a good husband, great father, and CW even watched her own daughter for a couple days. She said something happened in the 5 weeks this summer that caused SW to be blindsided by the change in CW's behavior. She went into great detail describing SW's personality, her need for routines and schedules. There's also a good video of a conversation with Cindy (from LeVel IIRC). I haven't seen them posted here yet but could've missed them. I won't direct link. Search youtube for 'Phone call to Christina in Hawaii-Chris Watts murder' and 'Chris Watts murder BWC Ofc James phone call with Cindy'. Then select the filter in the upper left corner for "Today". (Videos were uploaded last night.) These women and NUA showed reactions that would be typical when SW and her daughters were missing, creating a stark contrast to CW's behavior. IMO.

Thanks as I had missed those.

Like A.J. hadsell, for instance (just thought I would mention it in case any of my fellow WSers missed the arrest, like I did, only happened across it days later).

Wow, thanks for posting. The Christina call was fascinating to hear. She did say SW had said the girls didn't even want to be near Chris when they saw him. I'm so impressed with SW's friends. These ladies knew her so well and were on the ball.

I have no doubt a lot of what CW is, and has done, is because of his family and how he grew up. I believe there are dynamics there that we don't know about. I also have no doubt that meeting and falling in love with Shanann changed him, for a while. He changed again when he became involved with NK. Now he appears to be just a lump. So, who/what is the real CW? I believe he was always a cold, selfish monster playing a role. It took certain circumstances to release the monster with horrible results. He probably could have played various roles a long time, unless and until, the door was opened for the monster and the prize was sufficient to lure the monster out. I said early on that he was more than one thing, a melange of personality types

Now there's no role to play and he's a lump.

Finally, based on his interviews, I now wonder if he enjoyed killing? He looked refreshed, invigorated. If he had been successful, would he have killed again?

Sorry to derail but someone mentioned the MK thread. Just curious, what case that is? I can't figure it out.

I think had he managed to get away with this, eventually he would have killed again somewhere down the line.

I'm so sorry you live with chronic pain @mtnlites ! I do as well and completely understand. I think that's one reason I'm so drawn to Shanann.....she also lived with these issues and seemed so bright and happy in the face of it. She was strong and didn't seem to let it get her down. I'm still working on that myself! Prayers for you:)

90 mg of Oxycodone indicates many potential problems, especially in view of today's treatment of chronic pain, when people are taken off opiates, but we are coming to the same point.

People are people, they have medical issues, emotional issues. They suffer. If you are not happy with the marriage, divorce is an option. Divorce - not making three kids with your partner and then killing them all.
