It made me sad listening to Frankie's audio interview with police. He was being so gracious about CW and CW's family. He read a message exchange he had with CW's sister after SW and the girls were "missing" but before CW confessed. The sister mostly was just venting about what people on social media were saying about Chris. Her attention and words were not really expressing genuine concern or sadness for her SIL and little nieces. Even if she hated Shanann, how could she be so uncaring toward her nieces? She also didn't show any empathy for how Shanann's family was coping. Her entire focus was just on mean things people were saying about Chris. It was so off. She sounds just like the mother. The tone was so ranting and hostile.

And at that moment in time, everyone was still missing. If Chris was innocent, who cares what trolls or random strangers on the Internet are saying. The entire focus should have been on finding his family. Their reaction and behavior throughout this has been truly bizarre.
I thought the same thing. The difference in the two families is like black and white. The Watts family, only thinking of Chris and themselves, bashing SW. Meanwhile, The Rczueks were so gracious. Asking for prayer for the family. Frankie saying, he knows what Chris did to his family, but that he felt sorry for him. Never being in trouble, he knew Chris was scared. He talked about how much they loved him. The difference in the two families is astounding.

Maybe. I'm just not ready to give Ronnie or Jamie that out, yet.
I agree. I think they were her "work in progress", but hadn't yet quite reached the heady levels of malice (for want of a better word) that she displayed.

I think what bewildered Shanann was the fact that he was so distant and suddenly didn't feel the same about her anymore. He was no longer affectionate and was not interested in sex with her. This was all due to the affair, not drugs. Imo
Agree, he just cut Shanann off suddenly, like the cold blooded snake that he is IMO.
Poor Shanann must of been so devastated at how he turned on her as any wife would be under those circumstances.

Most normal people would co operate with LE in a murder investigation. But NK is possibly a pathological liar anyway, and her and the truth are strangers. It is probably how she has got through in her life. A deceptive person and there are plenty of them out there, and i think she is one of those type of people, IMO.
I'm surprised she wasn't charged with obstruction of justice for not being more forthcoming to LE.

In order to lose weight and become buff so quickly, I think he was abusing various drugs including steroids, perhaps even meth.
I didn't notice any signs of drug use at all. I would think the people around him, especially his co- workers, would definitely had seen signs, especially if he was using meth. He lost a lot of weight in the short time he was seeing Nickol. Having sex five times a day can do that sometimes.

I don't get it either.

Guess I'm getting old...less tolerable by today's standards.

There are no excuses for this monster's behavior, not matter how hard those who attempt to excuse his behavior try. If it was my daughter-in-law and grandchildren who were slaughtered I certainly would not try to make my son's behavior more acceptable by blaming it on drugs, sex or other women. He's a killer. Cold and simple.

Worse would be strangers trying to justify his aberrance.

Free speech is awesome, but bashing victims is not okay IMHO.

Moo. Edited for spelling.

No poster here has tried to excuse CW's behavior especially considering he confessed to murder.

The 3 day lack of sleep is interesting.

Could high school lust and adrenalin keep him up and so animated? I wondered how he could stay Monday night, much less sleep, in the house he just killed his family in.

It really freaks me out how similar this case is to the Jeff Macdonald case. Only difference is CW planned his murders.

After researching the case for three years, McGinniss concluded that MacDonald was hopped up on diet pills, overworked, deprived of sleep, resentful of his wife's growing independence and, one night, he cracked. He killed her, murdered their 2- and 5-year-old daughters in the most horrible way, then staged an elaborate cover-up.

Per one of NKs interviews she commented on how she wasn't going to be bothered with him while he is in NC sleeping with or with another woman. I'm sure he thought he was proving his loyalty to NK moo. He had only been sleeping with her since June.

I wonder WHAT her reaction is to seeing SWs texts. My goodness.

I cannot go without my own Shout out to SWs friends! First NA with the heroics. Then Cassie with the long distance TLC and now Maddie(?) GO THROUGH HIS PHONE AND SEE IF THERE A B**** A I NEED TO KICK LOL
Then in regards to CW " Imma Kick his A** "

You gotta love the love. They all seemed to balance each other. Every girl deserves friends like THEM!

All of this is per the interviews and discoveries. I'm sorry for the lack of links.

Just logged on after being gone all day. So is this what this thread has come to....defending CW or giving him excuses due to drug use or mental illness?

Of course he is crazy! Crazy as the devil. And good people aren’t looking for the whys anymore of what he did. He is EVIL. He is where he should be. He killed four precious lives.

Oh but they HAVE.

I'd be happy to refresh your memory but I don't wish to shut down this thread or disrespect Tricia's rules and the mods.

<modsnip - discussing PMs>

This is not a moo. Its a fact.

Whose to say that he didn’t sleep? This is the same guy who texted his mistress when his family was decomposing in dirt and oil.

The same guy who looked up Metallica lyrics right after dumping them.

The same guy who drank a protein shake as he was destroying evidence in his house.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he slept like a baby.

I don't know about you guys but whenever @MassGuy or @PommyMommy likes my post, I feel like a celebrity liked my post:) Everyone here is so smart and I love reading all of your insights. I think part of the reason I can't let this one go is because I don't know what I would do without my WS family every day:D
Yes! Those two and @gitana1.

Jamie’s profile pic on the Bella blog looks more similar to the woman in the courtroom than other pics I’ve seen.

I didn't suggest anything was wrong with a victim's character. I wouldn't call it an insult, I'd call it a warning to the potential victims. Everything is about ego to a narcissist, who come across as quite charming. JMO
Yes, I was responding to the statement that it was not complimenting to the victim. I was just explaining why someone would say it may be considered a compliment.

It also is eerily similar to the Chris Coleman case and he was rumored to be using steroids. The big, big difference is that CW admitted his guilt very early on.
