Exactly! The author (Kathleen H) claims that murders are always committed for money, sex or to hide secrets. Her main focus is to discredit Cadle's supposed claim that CW's motive was to prevent NK from finding out about Shanann's pregnancy. Kathleen claims since NK must have already known about the pregnancy, then that couldn't have been his motive, which I actually agree with. But then using her absurd 'logic', she proceeds to speculate whether Shanann abused the girls and asks if that is the real secret he wants to hide.
Kathleen claims that they were about to lose their house which isn't true. They were NOT months behind on their mortgage when he murdered them. They had at least $150K in equity, so they could have sold the house and paid off all of their debt. In Cadle's book she says CW knew that Shanann would have locked him out of the house if she knew about NK, so maybe that prompted him to murder before she could do that.
Kathleen also repeatedly asks CW "why did you kill the children" and points out that CW had their medical records sealed and refuses to give his parents POA to reopen. Well, I'm not sure her claim about having the records sealed is true, but I did see a rumor from last October that CW raped Bella and Cece before murdering them, which I dismissed as fake. Is it even possible he could have made it part of his plea to get that horrible info withheld?
As for why he killed Bella and Cece, the answer is obvious. He did it to have a fresh start with his mistress, just as DA Rourke has always said. Cadle also came to that obvious conclusion in her book: "The answer, I'm afraid, is easy: He did it to clear his life and start over with Nikki."
