ROFLOLHe says it is too soon.

( is that wrong?)
Talk about conducting a trial in the court of public opinion! IE does seem miffed that she didn't get to continue rewriting the evidence into a "if it doesn't fit, you must acquit" narrative that in this case if not only offensive, but a miscarriage of justicem

I mean what the actual? She is tasked to defend her client, not stand there like a publicity agent claiming the charges were false ...
How is this appropriate?
If she is smart she will dump this client while the going is good.
With this dismissal, what happens with the protection orders related to witnesses who consider BM a possible threat? And what about the orders restricting him from possessing firearms or ammunition? Do the orders still stand in relation to the "possession of disallowed weapon" charge which was severed from the murder/tampering charges?

It's possible he moved her later as well.
Yes, it is.
I can't say why (perhaps it's those trees he purchased), but I do think he buried her that Mother's Day. But you are correct - it could be that he merely hid here someplace he could access and went back and moved her.
If that's true, there will likely be forensic evidence of that move. Blood cell patterns inside the long marrow bones should reveal something about her posture when rigor set in. He would have moved her after that.
The same bones *might* provide evidence of any tranquilizer use.
There will be.There is no murder case
May is snow melt month in the mountains of Colorado, when the creeks below run high. So perhaps the weather will aid in justice here sooner, rather than later.I live in Colorado and any areas that remain shaded or are north facing (ugh like my driveway) take FOREVER to melt, even when outdoor temperatures are well over 32 degrees.
Well, if you believe (like I do) that it is highly likely Barry put a lot of thought into where to place Suzanne (and did this well before that weekend), then we have a puzzling scenario. The same ground that's under snow right now would have been under snow back then, I would think. Maybe not. Maybe this year has been more snowy. I don't have time to try and figure that out today, but if anyone has time to look at weather history, that would be interesting.
What I'm wondering is if they used something like LIDAR or at least sophisticated aerial photography to try and locate deformations in the landscape. They might have completed the analysis just recently (this is not easy stuff to do). In this scenario, the analysts found something promising sometime in the last 5-6 months and conditions have not been favorable (yet) to searching there.
I'm trying to stay optimistic.

That's what innocence looks like," defense attorney Iris Eytan said as she left court with Barry Morphew after the murder case against him was dismissed today in Fremont County.
