Perhaps his attorneys have encouraged him to stay out of sight. Out of sight, out of mind. They’re hoping the citizens (jurors) forget that he murdered Suzanne.
He kept a pretty low profile before the arrest except for a few people who chased him around, so I'm sure he's being advised to keep a low profile this year and up until trial. Agree. Plus he has formidable lawyers so I'm sure certain media organizations don't want to tangle with them either LOL. I'm sure they have "people" whose job it is to keep an eye on anything Barry that is published. I had a friend who did that for a lawyer....just gather intel. Fun job for a web sleuth.

Barry has to be lucky for 8 months straight....I'd say the odds are against him....given his nature and habits....staying out of trouble that long by simply making right choices seems impossible.

I do wonder which of Barry’s buddies was tasked with hauling the bobcat back from Indiana, since, you know, he can’t leave the county or anything. Barry’s gotta Barry.

He was pretty quiet before his arrest. He was especially quiet about: looking for, searching for, and getting the word out in the public realm on behalf of his missing wife.

Let’s be real.
Barry only kept a low profile once in his life! That was when everyone but him was searching for Suzanne.
He was too busy canoodling with SD ( and maybe others).

Well....in 10 days we shall see what the judge thinks of BM's involvement in this escapade. Is his freedom in jeopardy? Is there anything else that has come to the judge's attention which he will address that day?

Not sure I even believe we will not see BM hauled into court (err....attending a virtual hearing) before his scheduled appearance on Oct. 13. Since Nov. 9 was calendared and has now been "preempted" - any bets?

MOO
I think the judge will give him another chance. It's dumb, I know, but this judge seems soft to me.

Perhaps the daily fail has lost interest in chasing him :) around. The news cycle is pretty narrow and there really won't be much of news interest to the general public until the trial or unless there is a news bomb like Suzanne is found is my opinion.
I'll give them a call.

Ok, so Barry has a virtual hearing scheduled for October 13, which is next Wednesday.

My suspicion, is that it may have to do with bond conditions. I can't imagine the DA is happy that Barry is living in the same neighborhood as witnesses who have no contact orders against him.

I'm curious why you think Barry would be in violation of his bond conditions with regard to SD trespass case? He doesn't have to attend so perhaps it could be anything really.

Are you suggesting the bond conditions might be altered, as in, order him to re-locate?
Can they even do that?

I usually don't follow the legal aspects of cases so I honestly don't know how this sort of thing works.

Yes, the judge can order him to relocate, and I do believe there is an excellent chance of that occurring.

He's currently residing within a stone's throw of the Ritters, people who have a no contact order against him.

I cannot imagine they're not terrified by that, and I'm stunned this was allowed in the first place.

Pack your bags Barry.

Don't know but we'll soon find out.

I've seen the pictures at the Indiana house. There were antlers all over the place. I wonder if Suzanne really liked that style of decorating or if she left it up to Barry. In her wildest dreams she more than likely never expected to be hunted by her hunter husband, who indeed killed her in the end. JMO

I'm thinking Barry, really don't know many/any woman that would choose that décor theme. My better half has always been crazy for anything nautical. Our LR would make you seasick :eek:;)It's not worth the fight, so we never have. I do have one room that's all mine.

Just saw this on the Gabby P. thread. Hope it’s okay to bring over here.

Thanks for this Cindizzi, I would have though it was part of the FB fiasco, which I just heard of a short while ago.

Wow, I must have missed that the Ritters had a no contact order against him.
Is there a link for that somewhere?

Maybe it wasn't allowed but instead it wasn't known to the court that that's where he went when he was released?
Just a guess, but if he wasn't ordered to not live near them, that's technically not a violation of his release, is it?
I'd sure as heck be worried if it were me. I wonder if they even knew?
Ugh. What a creep.

My brother was a hunter once upon a time. He shot many dear but ate the venison. He mounted a head with antlers on the wall in the dining room to my sister in laws dismay. It stayed there until they moved then it was trashed. I'd much prefer nautical than heads and antlers all over the place.

It's interesting that he seems to want to keep an eye on the place.

That's a toss up, notoriously cheap when he wants to be, I think it's a free place and he does have 8-9 months minimum in the community.

It's free? I must have missed that! I admit I haven't read all of the posts tho.
