The next time #BarryMorphew will be in court will be Tuesday, December 14 at 1 p.m. to continue this motions hearing about discovery violations. Eytan wishes the remaining witnesses to remain subpoenaed.

Other motions hearings have been set for Jan 24, 25th, Feb. 1. I will have a recap of what happened in the #BarryMorphew case today on @FOX21News at 6:30/9 p.m. tonight.
Guess this answers my question about whether motions will be made till May. Defense is dragging this out but draining Barry dry at the same time. LOL.

Daughter looks unhappy.

Thats probably because Barry told them they're having steak for dinner, and they're all going to be sharing a plate.

As one does.

Ha!
Think about that one. Who does that? No one! I am not sharing a good steak with anyone.
He needs to eat all he can between now and the trial. After that it is peanut butter.
Maybe he can spend his time with Frazee and the two of them can decide who is the dumbest.

Did anybody catch who was present in court today representing the prosecutor? I recall that DA Stanley was not present but interested who was there as a prosecutor since we know it was not acting Jeff Lindsey whose last day in Chaffee County was Nov 5. TIA. :)

Well, exactly.

I’m still looking, but did see this about a new face for the Prosecution:

NEW FACES on the defense: Attorney Hollynd Hoskins and for the prosecution: Attorney Robert Weiner and another new face sitting in the juror box is Chaffee County Attorney Daniel Tom. He is here for the motion regarding the Chaffee County Sheriff's Department.

I really think that after the preliminary hearing, the defense attorneys believed that the judge was going to be making rulings most favorable to them. He was a former defense attorney and I think they thought that his line of thinking was going to lean towards their line of thinking. That preliminary hearing gave the defense team confidence.
I think they thought they were going to march in there today and get everything they wanted. I think they walked out with their tails between their legs.
And finally, I think the judge let everyone know that he will not be bamboozled by bs in this case.
If the prosecution can lay out this case in a clear and concise manner, BM will be going away for a long time.

Thanks, @Cindizzi.

I believe both Weiner and Tom were present on behalf of an agency/department client regarding the defense intent to sue each civilly.

County Attorney

And Hoskins fits right in with this defense!

I would guess it was Dan Edwards. He seems to have been the one signing all the recent motions. Though I would also be interested in knowing for sure.

I just searched online for him and I believe he actually works for the Colorado Attorney General's office, not the Chaffee County DA. I thought he was just one of the other DDAs when I saw his name at first, since that's how he's been signing. But I guess that's why the defense mentioned someone being deputized from that office.

Sure hope you are right. No reason to doubt your opinion.
Prosecution just needs to get it together. IMO.

What a guy-- BM carrying Eytan's document case as she wheels her empty luggage cart to her vehicle!

Optics, all about the optics.
It’s a Briefcase full of Blues.

:p

So, is Barry getting what he can...no longer pay as much for?

A motion about publicity with just one sentence?

An unamended motion about discovery, with the items they're mentioning in court not listed in the motion?

I feel as if BM is saying, "I'm only gonna pay for 6 hours," and they're like a-yup, well then, here's one sentence. And one half of us travels to Salida. There you go, sir!

What happened to all of the exculpatory evidence that the prosecution withheld and destroyed? Hadn’t the prosecution violated the law in keeping all of this crucial information from the defense?

It’s weird. It’s almost as if absolutely nothing happened in court today. Barry back to square one.
