This may be immaterial but when Suzanne said they needed to divorce civilly, do you think she meant "politely" or "legally"? Struck me this morning because I always assumed the former -- handle it maturely, for the sake of everyone -- but perhaps Suzanne was trying to find a way still to accommodate Barry -- divorce civilly so he could stay married in "God's eyes" -- then once they got that far, she be able to move on physically --

Probably not significant either way -- but thought I'd raise the question.

I just can't imagine what she was going through, trying to extricate herself from the general toxicity/imbalance of the marriage --

She said she'd still do his invoices, IMO she was helping to find him a comeasurate house to move to (so they could divide up resources fairly)....

Yeah, he probably doesn't *do* fair.

JMO
I think she meant the former; a smooth and uncontentious process.

Barry has two things that she wants, money, and notoriety. She gets a lot of attention when she's with him, and I'm sure she likes that.

It's gotta be killing her that she can't go to court with him.

bbm

Sad irony that it probably is killing SD that she can't go to court with BM.

Suzanne wanted to go to court with Barry too (divorce court) and it killed her.

But that's the thing -- Suzanne might've had no idea what Barry was capable of. SD knows what he's charged with...

Buyer beware.

Seems to me that as far as LE is concerned, SD did not enter the picture until Sunday, May 10, when she allegedly reported there were strange vehicles in the Morphew neighborhood on that date. (It's believed she was cleaning a residence in the neighborhood on Sunday). MOO

I'd really like to know just exactly which house she claims she was cleaning.

I don't buy it.

Perhaps SD felt a need to justify her presence in an area where she had no rightful business.

She wasn't cleaning Suzanne's house. She wasn't cleaning the rental because Barry met THAT cleaning lady (also) by the dumpsters on his Wednesday night walk. Which leaves the other home-- and I doubt she was cleaning there. And on Mother's Day, no less.

So.... why'd she insert herself into the narrative????

We don't know if the backhoe attachment was attached to anything. Opportunity to switch sim cards????

Who would think to run a check on a parked Bobcat/backhoe? One that Barry seemed disinterested in....

It was an odd entry for his day... contacting, then pretending the price was suddenly too high, something he probably knew ahead of time.

Barry knows his mountains. He may have had help jockeying vehicles. Away from known cameras.

Methinks Barry wanted it to appear that he, his truck, his phone and his Bobcat were home all afternoon and evening -- and overnight.

Which means to me, he wasn't.

I don't think BM necessarily used a jack for the trailer (hitch) for a couple of reasons: to quote LS, we know that BM towed his trailer/bobcat around "like it was a purse." A jack is typically necessary to set the trailer hitch on blocks to level the trailer for long-term storage (protect the tires, etc) which we know was never an issue here. Second, BM built a special pad on his driveway specifically for his trailer/bobcat. It's seen in photos of PP not far from the driveway entrance -- secluded from the main house/garage behind a privacy wall of evergreens. MOO

BM's trailer pad sits between the rock wall and evergreens where two investigator vehicles are parked opposite of the trees.

Shoshona Darke Arrested, Allegedly Trespassed At Former Home Of Suzanne And Barry Morphew

Thank you for clarifying this! Turns out, I didn't know what a jack was!!

I was thinking HITCH!

Proof I don't know jack ship.

Without searching/linking the quoted text, I believe the context of SM's quote revealed this was not a suggestion for a "civil" as in permanent, legal separation of lives without a divorce.

SM herself was a product of divorce where both of her parents went on to remarry others where the unions outlived the first marriage. Also, I've never believed that SM was personally against divorce for "religious reasons" but simply repeating BM's feelings about divorce. I don't think it unusual that SM initially repeated this excuse for not divorcing BM to her affair partner. Seems to me SM's professed feelings about divorce were far different 18 months later. MOO

Would an avid hunter use another freshly killed animal to cover up the death scent of his murdered wife in the area where the carcass was? Maybe even use it to cover said scent on a trailer and bobcat? IMO

Because Barry asked her to?

If I recall correctly, she cleaned the main and guest house (the neighboring house to PP) where BM currently staying). MOO

Her ex also had a story to tell. Kinda interesting coincidence.

More likely a deer or elk that was in the trailer at some point perhaps.

Agree completely.

(I just thought maybe Suzanne was using language that might be less infuriating for Barry. A civil divorce -- like a legal separation-- not that this would be satisfactory for Suzanne, she wanted a new life, a new life partner. But she surely was measuring her moves and words, probably to keep Barry from flying off the handle).

How exhausted she must have been.

Yes, but learned that a NEW lady (the other lady at the dumpster) was cleaning there! So it was cleaned on Wednesday, 6 - 7 bags full! So what did SD claim she was cleaning?!

Barry's one plate steak

Betting he didn't grill steak at all, what if the one plate was used to defrost meat from freezer as bait to entice wildlife to Suzanne's body at Barry's pre chosen location?

Like the frozen sausages SD tried to gift the woman she has other criminal charges from? Lots of trash and sausage! Maybe Barry was kind enough to gift Suzanne a nice house cleaning on MD weekend! IMO
