Click the links for the recorded details about the event sourced from the AA, Plunder PH videos, PH Tweets, and investigative reporting. Many thanks to @OldCop and @oviedo for the original timeline that this one grew from.

Well, if she was taking selfies then the cloud will have them.

I'm actually not 100% sure this is true. We know that there were texts from SM for example that weren't recovered anywhere in the cloud, like the one regarding the "mistress making your all happy". And we know that the deleted screenshots on BM's phone were recovered on the physical phone by the forensic people, which seems to suggest that maybe permanently deleting things is easier on the cloud than on the actual device.

Since we don't have SM's actual phone, that may be something that BM could have easily deleted afterward via the iCloud.

On a previous case I came across some interesting writings looking at what the method of murder says about the killer and the relationship with the victim. In this case we don't have the body, but I think we can discern some very interesting points.

In the Kercher case, you see a level of sadism in the knife play. In the Becky Watt's case, you see overkill, indicating a loss of control (common in first time murders). In McStay a level of brutality and pure ferocious savagery in a beating to death of 4 humans that is difficult to comprehend. Pistorius as a gun murder demonstrating a frightening level of aggression and violence. Watts a deeply personal strangling of the mother and disposal of the children.

In my highly overvalued and unqualified opinion, the use of stupefying drugs represents something quite different to the above examples.

A desire to avoid messy physical violence and instead to have complete, clinical control over the victim. This is reflected in the crime scene. Barely a coffee cup out of place.

For this reason I think he definitely used the 22.

He wanted to take care of business. A messy fight wasn't the plan.

.02

You know, when you write it out like that, Barry looks really sadistic. It also demonstrates his intelligence.

IMO, the tranquilizers were the back up plan. I have no doubt in my mind had she still been lazily enjoying the sunshine he would have shot her with a .22 round in the yard.

Easy peasy cleanup for a man with a Bobcat.

But she was inside somewhere so he couldn't make a mess. He's a true crime fan, he knows blood is a nightmare and it gets away from you. He comes around the back porches and goes in through the breezeway slipping into the garage and grabbing his pre-prepped tranq materials. She's not in the kitchen or great room, so he moves toward the closed master bedroom door.

(*)Why haven't we seen or heard of any of the finance details? A simple bank or credit card statement would solidify and clear up quite a bit of the speculation of locations and stops supposedly made by ALL involved. If he did work off a cash basis where's the picture of the decently sized safe in the house and it's contents?
(*)Payment apps? gifting apps to the daughters? It is crazy to think that a family like the Morphew's wouldn't have a lengthy financial trail with a daughter finishing high school and one in college plus an inventory of rolling stock(cars) that is greater than the value of most homes.
(*)Why hasn't the defense been adamant to get these financials as they would clear up quite a bit of confusion as to the when's and where's?
(*)I seriously doubt he ran his business on a cash basis. Didn't he did get a covid helper loan for the business?
(*)Is their a separate investigation going on that has the financials tied up? Like the home balance sheet doesn't really equal the business balance sheet(or neither of them make sense) and the IRS has now locked them up as BM's shenanigan's make his finances just as confusing?
(*)Is or was BM the sole bread winner at the time? Did SM make any money in her adventures?
(*)Were the trips/trists by BM and SM paid for in cash? How did she hide those expenses, and/or how did he hide his?
(*)Did they both have secret accounts?

Sorry for rambling, could go on quite a bit. IMO, the finances, withdrawal's, charge's, would solidify quite a bit of his alibi and or paint another picture of the timeline that can be verified(quickly and simply).
Maybe they Bury BM, maybe they bury SM, maybe the prosecution is still trying to piece it together, like some large cash withdrawals that have yet to be confirmed.

Edit: Is it the smoking gun the prosecution has that the defense does not want revealed.

Most of these answers are in the AA. They did go through the financials.

Things we might know:

Barry replaced his Bobcat blade on Saturday. Presumably MG was using that Bobcat that morning. Did she note anything? The guy who replaced it, did he? Was it a necessary replacement? We know Barry's cheap -- if it didn't need replacing, would he have? Unless he had a greater need than saving money.

Barry seems to have driven by the backhoe -- did he stop? Did he touch it? What was the purpose of that call? To locate the backhoe or to locate the backhoe owner? (Make sure he wasn't with his backhoe.)

By the time LE laid eyes on the Bobcat, the arm pin was -- what? -- removed? Loose bolts from....?

Assuredly it wasn't in that condition when he left Salida with the new blade so why?????

We know Barry operated the Bobcat at least once. To detrailer it in order to unhitch the trailer with it. When did he do this? Is this action recorded somewhere? And if not, why?

The Defense seems to think that the telematics from the Bobcat are exculpatory, at least for the Bobcat. As of the date of the AA, the Prosecution gave the Bobcat a pass.

But...

There's a possibility that SIM cards can be swapped.

There remains this matter of the dog hits.

This footprint, was it a print in dirt in the bucket? Was it on the metal? How pristine was the blade?

Is it possible that Barry used the Bobcat overnight, for transport?

There are a lot of moving parts here.

JMO

We're talking about Barry here, he's not letting anybody else run his Bobcat.

And there it is.

How is that defensible?

It is not defensible and that is why his fancy lawyers are doing every thing they can to try and prevent it going to trial.

Barry knew he couldn't use his Bobcat on Sunday without drawing attention to unpermitted work....

Best I can understand it, his alibi is that he wanted to get up to Broomfield a good ten hours before his originally scheduled crew (MG) so he could...um...what? Show her where he put the wrong equipment?

Did he drive all that way just to shower?

What I really want to know is

Why did he leave the Bobcat in Maysville?

Can any of you make that make sense?

JMO

Well, no. And neither could CCSO, CBI, nor the FBI. There is no reason for an innocent man to have driven to Broomfield ten hours early, without his Bobcat, to start a job that was illegal for him to work on that day with tools that wouldn't do the job anyway.

My cloud was full for 2 years since I am terrible at deleting photos. I finally broke down and bought extra storage space (literally 24 bucks a year that I was railing against). During those two years, no new photos backed up to my cloud.
SK716’s timeline is so helpful. I wonder how much information the prosecution has that isn’t in the AA, about that last week. “Did you leave?” Did he send that text for show, or did he think she was walking out? What happened the whole week between them-did Barry know she was done, and kept hoping she would change her mind? Did he agree to doing this civilly, and Suzanne was thinking she was going to move to town, and Barry to Arizona (if he didn’t kill himself)? I believe he was watching her on a cam while she sunned herself. I think that’s why he abruptly went home on Saturday morning. Did Barry take Suzanne’s RR to Salida Stove to get hot tub stuff? If he was there in the afternoon, it wasn’t his truck. Suzanne was most likely dead by then.

Very true. Both the iPhone and iCloud storage have come a long way. I recall being devastated to learn that the text messages from my first iPhone 5s that I accidentally deleted were never backed-up because Apple didn't design for it and users required a 3rd party app to save any texts. Fast forward to today, users can adjust settings to exclude camera roll from iPhone back-up and also back-up/save text messages.

@MassGuy noted the other day that Barry suddenly cut the work day short with MG and headed home within seconds of Suzanne's Facebook password reset.

CCSO seized all of the vehicles and ran the data. If Barry had used Suzanne's RR for anything, it would have been in the AA. MM2's RR did not have the telematics package.

Most of these answers are in the AA. They did go through the financials.
Barry Morphew Redacted Arrest Affidavit – Find Suzanne Morphew

Thanks, was hoping for more to better answer my thoughts, just MO. Hopeful they would have more from the FBI and private Accountant as the AA states the results were being compiled.

The Morphew's financials are interesting and were referenced several times in AA.

money allocation
spending habits
investment accounts
withdrawals
personal loans
losses
cash payments
SM reference BM's silver investments in texts to SO....and not in a good way. I would be very interested in just how those investments played out dollar-wise. MG mentioned that BM talked to the broker daily about these.

Some great points raised today that I hadn't thought of before. For one, the missing charger seems to absolutely prove SM never went biking. You would never take a wall charger into the woods so the fact that it is missing means someone was in the home and took it from there.

Why would someone take a charger that is a dime a dozen? The only thing I can think of is that BM touched it or it otherwise damaged it and needed to destroy the evidence. Maybe he ripped it out of the wall in anger, damaging it in the process? He wouldn't want to leave SM's damaged charger at the home to be found by LE.

I personally learn toward the theory that BM sedated SM with the dart, and strapped her in the car, taking her to another site to kill her to prevent leaving evidence at the home. We know the dogs hit only the trailer and the bobcat at the house but didn't they also hit at one of the worksites? Consider this: he takes her still alive in the cab of his truck where LE would expect to find her DNA and since she's not dead she's not leaving any cadaver scent. Drives her to the County Road 105 property where he kills her, possibly leaving scent but he doesn't bury the body there, instead loading her remains onto the trailer and covering it with gravel and dirt from the site which would be there without suspicion anyway. This is where the neighbor hears heavy machinery during the night. Covering her body in this manner would get scent on both the trailer and bobcat. Then he drives the remains to a second site, hidden from prying eyes on the trailer where he finally disposes of her, along with the gravel and/or dirt (another worksite unrelated to BM that wasn't being manned since it's Mother's Day Sunday?) Because he doesn't transfer any scent into his truck, I believe the site was somewhere close to a river or other water source. He could wash himself off and may have even used some of the hot tub supplies in his truck to be extra sure, getting some towels saturated with the smelly chemicals and putting them in plastic bags to dispose of in Broomfield.

From here, he drives on to the hotel to take another shower (or a few) and to dispose of the rest of the evidence far from the house and the burial place. The towels he soaks in water to try and dilute the smell and these are the "soaking wet" towels MG sees in the hotel room. If the plastic bags developed even tiny holes in the process (or were cheap grocery type bags that have holes anyway), he wouldn't want to try and take the soaked towels out of the hotel because they would be dripping all over the place and draw unwanted attention. So he has no choice but to leave them there in the room.

Edit: After reviewing my theory, I think BM went back by the house after the disposal. Possibly to get the bike and helmet. At this point he tosses the hot tub chemical bottles in SM's passenger seat since it's right there in the garage and he's in a hurry to get out of there and stage the bike before sunrise.

Edit Edit: To account for the burned journal, there must have been a period of time he spent destroying evidence in the house. I would think this was most likely immediately after she was sedated. This would have been when he washed and dried his shorts. I think they were simply thrown from the wash into the drier with the sheets that were already there because BM doesn't know how or want to make a bed.

If the plan was to put a sedated SM into the car, he'd definitely want the cover of darkness so he's got plenty of time to waste at the house until that time.

Agree, thank you NothingSurprisesAnymore.

So he phones Suzanne for the 10th time after she hasn't answered his previous 9 calls and the call lasts only 2 seconds.

And then what...? He ends the call after just 2 seconds because she didn't answer immediately, waits a few minutes and calls her for the 11th time?

What's up with that?

"Barry's phone exchanged two messages with "Tim Backhoe" at 1 :49 PM and 1 :50 PM. Barry also made an outgoing call to Suzanne for two seconds at 1 :51 PM (his tenth of eleven consecutive calls to Suzanne). "
The 2 second call may have gone to voice mail.

Per the bag Barry is carrying down the hallway at the HIE, that appeared to have a helmet in it. See Exhibit 75 from his truck interior.

Could this be the helmet-shaped item we see?

It's his fireman's helmet.

If it is his own helmet, why did he take that in to the hotel?

BBM
My best guess at this is that he didn't know exactly how Sunday was going to play out. He went to Broomfield not intending to do ANY work. If he truly expected the girls to be home by noon, then he expected that he himself would be back in Maysville before MG and JP would leave to go to Broomfield. No one would have known that he didn't take it, they would likely assume that he brought it back home not wanting to leave it there unattended for security reasons. Also, he may not have known whether MG and JP would actually go to Broomfield depending on how the day played out with SM's disappearance. He knew HE wasn't going to be freed up to go to Broomfield for several days to tow the Bobcat back and he knew that MG and JP had no way to tow the Bobcat back if he had taken it and left it there. Basically, it comes down to a bad liar. I personally wonder if he ever intended to complete the Broomfield wall job at all.

And BM said he was SM's "ATM" and I have no doubt he is the ATM for others as well. JMO (quoted from last thread)

Each time I see something written along this vein I become rankled. It speaks to dominance and misogyny on so many levels and only an un-enlightened man-boy would think it is an okay thing to brag about. I wonder how it made Suzanne feel, each time she heard it? I doubt it was grateful.

Perhaps it became an inside joke within their family unit? Who knows?
That ranks right up there with his, “It’s not husband’s day.”

Why the charger?

IMO it can only mean it was connected to the phone.

Ah, if Suzanne and JL were blowing up their phones, Suzanne may have plugged her phone in to charge alongside her bed where we know she normally kept it (in preparation for her routine, afternoon bike ride).

As far as we know, JL never joined her on WA so she may have moved on.

She showers, dresses, starts a load of laundry -- away from her phone, it's charging, she may be unaware of Barry's calls or seeing that she missed a dozen of them, may have started to answer, then changed her mind.

She may well have been in the laundry room when Barry encountered her --

She may have run for her room because that's where her phone was -- she could've been trying to call for help when Barry barreled through the door, ripping her phone both from her hand and the wall.

And that would explain why it's missing.

IMO, SM's issue with BM dabbling in silver was that he borrowed money from their credit line to do so. Commodities are not for short-term minded and in 2020 - there was an oversupply of silver thanks to COVID restrictions. However, unless BM was forced to sell earlier, he likely made a good chunk of change in Feb 2021 when silver hit an eight-year high of $29.585 per ounce, and is expected to outperform gold in 2022.

May 09, 14:44 – Shooting Chipmunks? Barry had a .22 in the moments when Suzanne ceased the communicate with everyone she loved in the world. – Find Suzanne Morphew
(Someone remind me to redo this graphic with the new data from the PH exhibit dump and arc the lines.)

This is such a helpful and frightening recreation. So if I'm reading that right, he spent two minutes outside of the master bedroom door? I'm guessing right after this is when his phone went into airplane mode?
