While I don't know if Barry was able to monitor his wife's communications that weekend; it could be two things that held Barry's attention at the beach site Sat. morn but can it be proven?

On Fri. May 8, JL sends to Suzanne: "You look good in biker clothes. You should be my wife."

On Sat., May 9, Suzanne tells JL that they "should be husband and wife."

Would this be tolerated? Was Barry going to allow Suzanne to live under his roof while talking sugah with another man? Was the very idea of Suzanne marrying another man enough to push Barry to the edge of no return?

I think Barry always knew he would shut Suzanne down, for years, he'd known, and esp. when the cancer returned. She was done.

Dropped the wedding ring in a drawer? That's a new one for me!

I can't think of one reason why BM would leave a mini-spy camera behind at PP and not dispose of it with SM and/or during his 5 trash stops in Broomfield. And zero reason he'd drop it in a drawer at home only to be collected during the first search warrant. That makes no sense to me.

ETA: BM said the camera was cheap, never got it to work and he threw it out.

I don’t believe him and what if the camera had images or video of Suzanne being virtually amorous?

Perhaps MM1 feels incensed her father is accused?

MM2 doing what's required to maintain her identity as a daughter and sister?

Of the three, she may best understand the dynamics that lead to Suzanne's death.

IMO MM2 is carrying a great burden

I agree. MM2 is being brought into both the scenario and the family relationship in an unhealthy manner. She is being triangulated but has no choice. She has already lost mom and stands to lose dad and sis if she doesn’t conform. Not her fault in any way. It is unfortunately her reality for now. IMO

I'm going to change the subject for a brief moment.

In the AA Barry's statement at the beginning with LE is:

"We had a great night that Saturday before. We made love that night. There was nothing that happened at 2:30. I mean, I looked back. Nothing. We grilled, I grilled steak at probably five, six. We ate dinner. Went to bed. We made love."

I kept reading this over and over and over and I couldnt put my finger on it something isn't right. Or I'm missing something.

However, now I think I figured it out. He says nothing happened at 2:30, then go straight to 5 or 6 at night where he grilled.

He jumps over two-and-a-half to three and a half hours.

Why?

Why did he jump over that??

Because this is the missing info on her attack and death.

When he gave his statement to the police-- without even realizing it--he discussed a jump in time.

I did not know until tonight that a person could search their Google history using history.google.com/history.

Doing that I found more pics of the Morphew house that I had looked at back in early 2021. I am still searching for the other listing I had looked at in 2020 but haven't found it yet.

But 7.72 acres in Chaffee County, Colorado has a picture of the door in the office area that we knew had to exist. And a few other angles that help decipher the layout of the house.

I also used the wayback machine and found some of the photos that were posted when Barry first listed the house last year. And this one shows the door also.

Regarding the quote attributed to me in your post at 4:07am today...

That quote is not my opinion but was from a post of mine quoting Grusing from the AA where Grusing seemed to be close to getting a confession from Barry. It is on page 121 of AA.

So sorry, @NothingSurprisesAnymore, yes I realised you were quoting Grusing, it's just that I'm not very good at the quoting/replying thing, and regularly stuff it up, with more/less text than I wanted Put it down to my advanced age! But yes, I should have noticed it, and edited it. Apologies again! I am now about to hit the "reply" button, and hope for the best!

Normally laundry would be by the mud room/garage door but I'm not sure there is enough room behind the fridge to put in the washer and dryer for it to be there with the antelope behind Suzanne's office space.

Two views of the door because neither of them is distinguishable. It's open so you can see the hinges in the first pic and the open dark room in the other. Resolution is terrible.

The door to the garage is here (open), with a door behind the fridge that has an area too small to be anything but a pantry.

What I remember is MM2 text to SM saying Dad made biscuits and then SM replied like an hour later saying Just Woke up. When in fact she had been texting with JL at the time.

I can’t buy that friending 3 "Jeff's" was coincidental, whether it was done by Barry or Suzanne I’m not sure. I can’t help but wonder now, was Barry actually looking at Suzanne’s phone in real time. Spyware has been around since 2013. I think he finally had a name. Suppose he was right there, real time, on a device watching her interactions with Jeff that last day, that last week.

Maybe Suzanne realised that Barry was on to "Jeff", so tried to muddy the waters by befriending some more Jeffs?

The first paragraph mentions an SMS ( text message) on May 8th.
And other dates associated with his phone are May 11 and May 12.
First used in 2019.

I've also spent a lot of time researching this mainly because I can't find the source citing MG as wondering why the daughter did not take her device on the road trip, alleging she saw it paired in BM's truck. (I'm patiently waiting for one of our absent WS members that initially posted this entry to join us again).

I'm fairly confident that the second device cited in the AA as associated with BM's iPhone with an SMS [text] at 3:43 PM on 5/8/20 is another Apple device capable of SMS [texting] which could be an iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple Watch, or MAC.

You can only have one User ID per Apple device by design (single users only). However, the User ID noted as being separate from the Primary User ID (i.e., Apple ID) could mean the primary email associated with the Apple ID /iCloud is different than the email for App Store/iTunes.

In the AA, I think it's clear that LE knows the phone number associated with that second device (it's redacted).

We also know that SM intentionally separated her Apple electronics from the family, and at a minimum -- NOT sharing the same iCloud but I also think that SM probably wanted MM2's phone associated with one of the adult accounts where MM2 could also have her own User ID for the App Store/iTunes. On the other hand, I could definitely see BM and MM1 sharing App Store/iTunes which would also appear as a separate device from the Primary User ID (primary email different) but still associated with BM's iPhone.

There are actually some very specific instructions at Apple support to unlink your phone/device from another phone including how to tell if your phone is linked to another phone/device, and delete devices connected to your Apple ID.

I think I hate this stuff...

For arguments sake, say BM had purchased a second iPhone - do you think this means he entered his apple ID into it?

I have multiple Apple devices, and the thing that associates them to each other, and to me, is my Apple ID. Even old devices that I no longer switch on, can be seen there.

At first I thought that Suzanne might be giddy at the possibility of being released from her gilded cage, and was sending friend requests just because she didn’t have to worry about what Barry thought anymore. I still do think that Suzanne might have been under the assumption that Barry had accepted splitting up and they would do this civilly.
But the AA cleared up the FB thing for me. The friend request recipients were surprised by them and many figured that Suzanne must have been hacked. The amount of Jeffs and the password reset sealed the deal. I believe it was absolutely not Suzanne.

Maybe that's a recording that was too muffled to use.

I wonder when she used it last, whether it was charged, and if it would've been able to activate from that distance.

Per the bag Barry is carrying down the hallway at the HIE, that appeared to have a helmet in it. See Exhibit 75 from his truck interior.

Could this be the helmet-shaped item we see?

It's his fireman's helmet.

If it is his own helmet, why did he take that in to the hotel?

Again, this helmet has a brim all the way round. (Looked at photos of red helmets on the Chaffee County Fire Rescue site: Wildfires | Chaffee County Fire) I think the outline of the object in bag more closely matches a brimless bicycling helmet with visor.

My interpretation of "whole phone" would be phone and charger....two parts of a whole. One is no good without the other. If the line of questioning was geared to figuring out why the charger was missing....maybe "whole phone" was the reference?
