For me, the only cancer factor was a question I had when the needle sheath first was revealed a couple years ago. I "asked" did she have a port, did she use a needle to flush and clean the port, did the daughter help her...those kinds of questions. Any family that has a family member going through cancer treatments has added stress and no one in the family is "immune" from that stress and dynamics. They were also self insured so that adds not only the emotional and day to day stresses but could have potentially added financial stress on top of a daughter in college and many of us know what those costs are. So no, "shutting" up about what they all were going through doesn't give any additional insight into the stressors. Agree that Suzanne contemplating divorce and increasing marital tension added additional stress - and that again is stress on everyone in that family. Doesn't exonerate BM but sets the scene for everyone in the family's perceptions.A cancer diagnosis will come with a hell of daily challenges and struggles to deal with so I hope that BM will shut the you know what up! Yep, I finally said it. Something I’ve wanted to say since first reading about this case, and reading his comments. Stress is horrible anyway, especially for a cancer patient, and something that Suzanne no longer needed in her life, and she probably realized it. I believe that she was taking her life back, taking her power and control back and that meant getting BM out of her life. Unfortunately, BM’s ego because he's narcissistic couldn’t take it and had other plans.
Of course this is speculation, moo.
I have to believe they are just compartmentalizing. On one hand, they know their mom isn't coming back, and on the other hand their dad says he didn't do it, his case dismissed so....I think it's probably easier for them to choose to believe he's innocent so they still have that part of their family unit. I also think there's an element of fear there too. He's out and free and so far has gotten away with murder. They're adults but young & might be desperate to keep what stability they have left. And if their home life was turbulent they might even feel more panicked at the thought of more instability. It's sad, really. Frustrating but sad.It is really concerning about the two supportive daughters. They're victims but it's interesting seeing the support given to their father. jmo
This is an evil money grab, and Barry has his daughters fooled, but on a non emotional level, I respect the hell out of it. The timing was perfect, as it disrupted the anniversary. Iris knows he did it, and knows what he is. This is genius though, regardless of the outcome.Jmo, but MM2 was telling the truth 3 years ago, when divulging aspects of her home life to her boyfriend and again to Sgt Hysjulien on that initial interview - I believe she has endured relentless months of gaslighting and psychological torture for that, from many people on the Morphew side.
It's not just Suzanne those girls have left behind 3 years ago, but it's the entire Moorman family - Barry got his wish - Suzanne and ANYTHING/ANYONE linked with her has just, simply disappeared. Those girls are in a darker world now because of their Dad, really hope they can find their way through those shadows cast by him and see the light of the truth one day.

The hand holding creeps me out. I just wish Barry had the stones to do interviews on his own, no props to show that Suzanne’s daughters choose him. He needs that affirmation always. IE is a whole other story. She’s a good attorney, I’ll give her that. And I see she is on her own now, no more Eytan Nielsen.Jmo, but MM2 was telling the truth 3 years ago, when divulging aspects of her home life to her boyfriend and again to Sgt Hysjulien on that initial interview - I believe she has endured relentless months of gaslighting and psychological torture for that, from many people on the Morphew side.

Thinking of it as you present it, it's even more evil (my opinion). If he is innocent, this isn't the actions of an innocent man. An innocent man would want all eyes on the anniversary and all attention on his still missing wife. Yet, here it is again, just more of the same, poor Barry and he has been wronged. Nothing about his wife. This is an evil money grab, and Barry has his daughters fooled, but on a non emotional level, I respect the hell out of it. Now if he's guilty, it all makes sense. A guilty man doesn't want attention on his missing wife and certainly doesn't want anyone to find her. Distraction makes sense.
