@NoSI
Did BM ever wear his mask correctly over his nose since this morning?

"Professionals" as in LE?
Mostly, but they may have some specialized experts that aren’t LE.

There was talk of “scientists,” and there may be other types of experts along those lines.

Lauren tweeted: Investigators never found Suzanne Morphew's phone or the charger she leaves plugged in next her bed. So investigators had what was backed up on the iCloud as well as phone records from the phone company. Eytan asked, if Suzanne had a simcard. Harris said no.

So does this mean Suzanne's phone could not ping off of towers? How is this possible? If she just used wifi to make calls, would it use a tower? How can a cell phone not have a sim card?

This news link is dated but was true of CDMA (Verizon) vs LTE (AT&T) phones (instruments). I believe 4G and later may have changed this somewhat:

CDMA carriers don't use SIM cards and most CDMA phones are locked into their network. So you can't use a Sprint phone on Verizon's network or vice versa. Also, many CDMA carriers don't allow you to do voice and data at the same time. However, CDMA networks tend to have better network coverage in rural areas.

GSM vs CDMA Networks | US Mobile.

ETA: I recall LS telling us that Verizon carrier service was required for cellular signal near PP (which she had) yet she still had to drive to a hilltop for cellular signal anytime she was covering the story in the Maysville area.

I have seen a few posts regarding the text dialogue between SM and JL. He is the last person to hear from her.

Does this better explain why BM just showed up in FL while she was there on a "girls" trip?

Do we know the other 6 witnesses scheduled?

Was TN there today?(in the courtroom)
Will JL be a witness for the state? In court rather than the banter.

The DOMESTIC VIOLENCE line that was added after he was arrested, probably bumped it back up to M1 if it was ever an M2 consideration. If it had been a "crime of passion" (M2), and there was no history of domestic violence, prosecution may have been willing to go down that road. I am not a lawyer but it makes sense in my head.

This is such a good point - and I'm finding it hard to explain to my friends who are only slightly following this story.

Those extra charges (enhancements) are very important here.

And...premeditation is still very much on the table, given what we learned today.

That’s something with no logical explanation.

Barry doesn’t appear to have staged Suzanne taking off, based on the location of the bike, the helmet, and his obsession with the “cat.”

Also, people don’t generally take their chargers with them when they go on a bike ride.

So I’ve got to believe that Barry just grabbed the phone and charger in haste, and disposed of them at the same time.

Its bizarre any way you look at it.
So many times, @MassGuy you for real make me LOL! (This time it was regarding people not taking their chargers with them when they go on a bike ride). I know that I for one appreciated the bit of humor on a day like today.

I've been stuck on this all day....
With forensic science from multiple LE agencies to include communications with friends & family, pings ect....how in the hell were they delayed in finding about SM having an affair? A spy pen convo led them it, they didn't find out thru Whatsapp & LinkedIn on their own. Unbelievable SM had these stealthy ways to hide calls/messaging from the FBI, SMH.

okie dokie whoa!
so pleased to see SM was dipping her toe in the water again no matter where it was going to take her :)

woke up to be 70 pages behind!!!

Had to break it to every 5 pages to get the jist and catch up.

Can someone help clear up a blockage I can't see clear .

If JL was the last person SM texted on Saturday....
how does that correlate with LE not knowing about JL till December?

TIA

That definitely seems to be the window.

So the 211 obviously makes sense as that was her last communication. Something clearly happened at 2:47, and it’s documented somehow.

Is that when he began pretending to be Suzanne (if that happened)?

Or did he leave the house and make some purchases?

I’m sure there are tons of possibilities.

Damn. Of course he was pretending.

Or did she leave the house alive? And perhaps - was still alive to be caught on camera near the sandwich shop.

So what then?

There's a window here (and in fact, the window is really pretty large, as far as we know right now).

I may not be making sense.

Bravo, @NoSI *applauds*
thank you for all your notes (still catching up!)
Have a good night's rest. Will you be up super early again?

From 247 pm 5/9 until 537 am 5/10 he took steps to dispose of evidence of Suzanne’s disappearance and death.
RSBM.
These times and this time window are to-the-minute and IMO are coming from time-stamped evidence like security video systems, cash register receipts and the like. The way it’s worded, the steps he took are probably postmortem but I don’t think they all have to be. And if they’re not, this could be part of what’s driving the M1 charge.

I sure hope we get to see the events associated with these time-stamps tomorrow!

MOO again.

Seems that they were communicating via LinkedIn.
It may be that LE couldn't get the appropriate warrant for LinkedIn messages until they had probable cause (from the spy pen and the consequential witness)?

RSBM.
IMO, upon arrival LE was investigating a missing and potentially injured person. They brought the bike up out of the ravine and that was a reasonable thing to do at the time. But it’s also clear that they quickly switched to treating the bike as evidence after it was recovered. (Likely because of the locked front wheel.) And it’s really interesting that they needed to admonish both BM and GD for handling the bike. (The story we had until today was that it was GD admonishing LE for how it was handled.) I really expect to hear more from GD before this is all over. If not via LE’s records during the PH, then at trial.

MOO, as always.
EXCELLENT reminder!

It has happened to me once while cycling in Spain. If you "ride" your brakes on steep descents it can overheat and lock. It is frightening but requires repair to be ridden again. I can only speak for cork brake pads on a carbon fiber wheel and a road bike. Not for her specific bike. Until it is fixed, it's not moveable.

TN eluded to this in the phone interview he did before he went radio silent.
Thank you. I recall this being another concern when Andy indicated that SM told her dad that her brakes were locked up and she could not ride until fixed (i.e., riding on Sunday not possible). On the other hand, unaware of SM's conversation with her dad, I believe TN wanted us to believe that her brakes became locked during the ride on Sunday leading to the crash. MOO
