I've been stuck on this all day....
With forensic science from multiple LE agencies to include communications with friends & family, pings ect....how in the hell were they delayed in finding about SM having an affair? A spy pen convo led them it, they didn't find out thru Whatsapp & LinkedIn on their own. Unbelievable SM had these stealthy ways to hide calls/messaging from the FBI, SMH.

Maybe they needed PROOF not just hearsay. The spy pen was a Bam!

After all of the laptops, iPads and examination of the cloud, it still took a spy pen? Lucy’s got some splaining to do. When did LE start asking for anyone had spoken to Suzanne using Voxer? Did they already know about JL at that point? Did he come forward then or did they have to pay him a visit?

Seems that they were communicating via LinkedIn.
It may be that LE couldn't get the appropriate warrant for LinkedIn messages until they had probable cause (from the spy pen)?

Didn't they have the pen early on tho? Why couldn't normal investigation thru her phone ect lead them to JL, I'm missing something.

The couple were communicating via "Linked In" and this information was not uncovered by investigators until November. JL deleted his account and did not contact LE - they had to contact him.

I imagine LE were able to determine SM's final texts/calls from information provided by her carrier/network and apparently the Linked IN message was determined to be later than revealed from her phone records.

Just to clarify, there was a tweet that said in high school,he went to a party and he and SM "hooked up". It may have said she was already dating BM.

Changing topics to the interactions SA Harris had with Jeff Libler. Agent says Jeff knew #SuzanneMorphew in high school and hooked up with her at some point. Says Suzanne sent him a text asking him how he was in 2018.

Ok. So I think when JL deleted his LinkedIn (I think he said the 12th), it may have deleted the messages on Suzanne’s end too. So maybe when they got a warrant for that, it was less than helpful.

No one is better than the FBI at this tech stuff, so I’m sure the explanation isn’t incompetence or anything.

I haven't gone through todays posts, so not sure this was covered. We knew SMs phone was never found. Apparently her phone charger, which had been plugged in next to bed, is missing as well.

That’s something with no logical explanation.

Barry doesn’t appear to have staged Suzanne taking off, based on the location of the bike, the helmet, and his obsession with the “cat.”

Also, people don’t generally take their chargers with them when they go on a bike ride.

So I’ve got to believe that Barry just grabbed the phone and charger in haste, and disposed of them at the same time.

Its bizarre any way you look at it.

I caught that tidbit and it def bothered me. It’s small but I think it may be important. It’s possible it may be as simple as one of the girls borrowing it for the trip. Or BM being intentionally clever and trying to create evidence of abandonment. But here’s the way I was fitting it into the story…

“Girls are gone for the week. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day. I feel awful about the fight last night and that I have to work on Mother’s Day. Why don’t you come with me? We can go up this afternoon, have nice dinner in the city, catch a show. I’ll wrap up tomorrow as quick as I can and you can do some shopping in the meantime. We’ll be home before the girls get back! Whaddayasay?!”

Yes, I’m basically spinning all that out of a missing phone charger which could have ended up in an overnight bag or something. And maybe it’s a stretch. But I’ve always felt that the murder took place away from PP. And an invitation like that could be construed as a way to “make the wife happy”. MOO. Always MOO.

Maybe they mean the affair wasn't confirmed until Nov 2020?

Her last message is just after 2pm, and like 40 minutes later his evidence destruction begins.
