Never too lateThink I'm late (again)
Here for Suzanne
Is it possible that something was discovered after his arrest, perhaps hidden in his truck or condo?
True, she may have told someone. Though I do not have much confidence at all in young women noticing a cracked door frame to their parents bedroom. Depends on how obvious the damage is. They did not fight much in front of the girls so I assume it could have happened at any time they were alone and fighting. We just have to be careful of creating fictional scenarios on very little info. JMO.I think it is probable that detectives asked both Mallory and Macy if there were fights. They said no. Then they were asked about damages in the home (I.e. door frame) and they said no again. This would mean it happened while they were gone on their camping trip.
So he responds no, on record, that he doesn't want to hike but verbally says yes when he arrives at home? Could that be a possibility? mooI do think he planned it, but he was running out of time. His daughters would, be back soon. By Saturday, he was under the gun (so to speak) and had to come up with a plan. The text message where he asked her to go on a hike with him bugs me. I keep thinking he wanted to get her to go to her predetermined burial site. By getting her out of the house, he would eliminate an potential crime scene there. I wonder if he had his dart gun in his truck ready.
It makes me think of the Dirk Grineder trial. He got his wife to go on a hike through Morse Pond with him, and he bludgeoned her to death by having all his supplies prepared at the site. He really messed it up though and went to prison.
Do we think they will testify to the events of Saturday in detail? to this level of detail? sigh.I think LE will argue that BM took his 22 short rifle, removed a single bullet from the chamber, put it in his pocket. He then took a dart and syringe of tranq, removed the syringe cap, filled the dart, loaded the rifle with the dart. He put the syringe cap in his pocket.
He then shot her with the dart outside.
She ran to get away. She did not have her phone. She locked herself in her bedroom. He broke down the door.
He finished her off on the bed, smothering her. A struggle occured, which resulted in her scratching his arm and a bullet falling put of his pocket.
The syringe cap ended up in dryer vent when he washed his sweaty, contaminated clothes.
Does it ring true? We'll find out.
He knew. This was an easy MO for him. He used a weapon he was very familiar with. As a deer farmer in IN, he knew about tranquilizer types, strengths & how to use them. Maybe the dose administered will be revealed at some point.I have no doubt he killed her, but how? And maybe it doesn’t matter. I’ve heard everything from choking, to shooting, to smothering, to woodchipping. It could have been an overdose administered through a tranquilizer with the thoughts that she might die, she might not.
If they are fingernail scratches on his upper arm, and scratches on his hands, and it sounds very much like it, with three parallel branches as close together as fingers being quite a rarity in my experience, I think he was strangling her. It's the only thing that makes sense to me, with that close proximity. MOO

Exactly. I think so too.I think LE will argue that BM took his 22 short rifle, removed a single bullet from the chamber, put it in his pocket. He then took a dart and syringe of tranq, removed the syringe cap, filled the dart, loaded the rifle with the dart. He put the syringe cap in his pocket.

I think we'll hear some of that today. I hope so anyway. Some how I think the wedding she was to be in played a part in this also. Im surprised we haven’t heard much about that. Didn’t they flip when she wasn’t there? What time was the wedding to start? I have questions lol.
Could be laid out in the AA, which we haven't seen.Do we think they will testify to the events of Saturday in detail? to this level of detail? sigh.
Oh no, not today. Nothing this specific. Sorry for confusion. I can't stop thinking about the big picture. Too impatient.Do we think they will testify to the events of Saturday in detail? to this level of detail? sigh.
Great point. Also, I would have expected Suzanne to tell Sheila about that.I don't see her sticking around if he broke the door down prior to that terrible day.
I'm surprised he didn't claim the scratches came from the sexual encounter he claims to have had with Suzanne. That would make more sense than well placed branches that apparently scratched him in a pattern that is consistent with fingernail scratches. He has some interesting reasons for everything.
