I actually don’t think it will amount to much. I imagine a lot of reporters have reached out for an update, as there hasn’t been a press release in a while. This is probably just an effort to appease them.

I'd read about the area that Barbara Thomas 'disappeared' in also featured abandoned mine shafts.
Also Erin Corwin was almost never discovered until the intrepid searcher (sorry , forgot his name) found her on the last day.
If harm has fallen Suzanne --- you can't tell me that a possible perp hasn't read about other cases, and thinks he/she is way smarter than LE ....

• Suzanne was last seen alive before the 8th ?
• The one person who could give a solid description of her clothing has refrained form doing so ?
• Suzanne's family and BM's family are not communicating with each other on a consistent basis ?
• Friend's of Suzanne have spoken and this is what they're saying ?
• We (LE) have a more accurate photo of Suzanne.

I'll help you out here @kay74 There is a YT interview that Lauren Scharf ( a legitimate journalist) did on June 2nd where she mentions that SM's side of the family was asked by LE not to talk or do interviews. The family was also appreciative of the immense work that LE is doing. I can't link the interview because the interviewer is not an approved source for WS so I'm only stating what Lauren Scharf said. ( hope this is allowed) I will remove if not.
