I think he's in over his head in every sense.

Owning property can be very deceptive. I know many a landlord who has had several million dollars in property, only to be financially on the verge of bankruptcy. The smart few will bail out on time. Most will end up bankrupt.

I have several rentals. From the surface it looks impressive. In the end it is a business. If I covers costs, and leave a small balance towards repairs I am happy. There is always that thought ‘what if a couple of my tenants bail simultaneously‘! Everything is not always as it appears.

I was just listening to a podcast about the Investigation Discovery segment and the host reminded listeners that BM chose to uploaded his video plea only to FB (SM's official missing page). When the host said this video on FB only had 281,000 views-- in almost 3 months, it was just one more thing to add to what I see as BM's lacking effort on behalf of his wife.

I made a post earlier today about BM passing up the perfect opportunity to make that 28-second appeal a day earlier at the Sheriff's first press conference. The presser was covered by the national networks--he could have reached millions of viewers in comparison to less than 300k.

MOO
You know? I never even thought about the views of that FB video because I don’t have FB.

If it weren’t for WS, I probably wouldn’t have even heard about SM. I have other friends that don’t have FB, and I was telling them about this case the other day. Guess what? They had never heard of Suzanne Morphew!

So, this leads me back to WHY wouldn’t you be blasting her information everywhere, any chance you get? The silence is so concerning to me.

Early on I posted how dumbfounded I was when I read BM only posted his appeal in fb. Even early on I wanted to know why would he restrict or confine himself so much....

It’s shocking to me. The combined viewership of the nightly network news broadcasts, is around 30 million people.

Had BM appeared with the sheriff, I’m sure each of them would have dedicated a segment to it at some point. Regardless, that video would have circulated through social media, and reached untold tens of millions of people.

It’s very different when a loved one appears at one of those things, and I think it tends to draw people’s attention more than the alternative (what happened here).

I mean, who can forget Kelsey Berreth’s mom, or Gannon’s parents?

At first, I wanted to believe the “too soon” comment was because he was in shock/devastated.

However, when LE did the press conference, and he was nowhere to be seen, I became leary.
Then, the quick reward and video, I became concerned.

You’re interpretation could be dead on.

MOO
I thought he might be intimating that it was “too soon” to say Suzanne had been abducted because perhaps she had decided to leave voluntarily.

“Oh, Suzanne”, why did you decide to leave me? s/

I’m very curious if there have been any other instances of MSM stating that a POI or obvious main suspect has been cleared as ID Channel did today, when apparently that is untrue?

The audacity, not to mention impact to their brand’s credibility seems outrageous. ID is not National Inquirer. And as I believe someone else mentioned, how did that make it past their legal department?

If this was in fact a click-bait post, ID has hit the skids man! MOO.

ITA! I am so disappointed in ID right now, and that’s hard for me to admit because I’m an ID addict.

And yet he chose not to? Hmm and great sleuthing as usual @Seattle1

FWIW, probably zero, I went back to the news station helicopter footage of the area which was taken in May and I can't see any Dumpster or likely place to locate one. Not saying it isn't there, just saying ... well, I guess I'm just saying that was a waste of 13 minutes. Younger eyes might have better luck, though. There is a nice wide angle at the 9 minute mark. IMO

The house is on 7.72 acres. Not wide enough angle to see the whole property.

I can't say this 2-yard dumpster is exactly the size dumpster the vacation home cleaning lady was at when BM/SM were walking on the road and approached her but if you click on the image, you'll better see that the lid is black. IMO, you'd have to have exceptional vision to pick that out from that news aerial!

The point is that if this was only a local homicide involving a local suspect, only the CBI would come in to assist local LE...IMO.

The FBI usually only gets involved in investigating crimes that have some sort of federal/interstate nexus...IMO
Unless they needed their labs and electronic forensic capabilities that they don't have?

Help me out sleuthers didn’t Frazee make a comment that he didn’t realize it would be national news that Kelsey was missing or was that Dulos with Jennifer ? Did this influence someone ? I really want to know those computer searches if there were any ?

Fortunately, and I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, there are lots of savvy people commenting “BS” on that Facebook post.

It looks to me like it’s just a summary of what happened, and someone didn’t do very good research.

The CBI has already shot it down, and I’m not expecting any corroboration from any news outlet.

Lol, he sure did. As his friend testified:

“He’s like ‘I don’t even understand why, why there’s such a big deal over this,’” Moore recounted, adding that he said he thought it was because the media tended to focus on missing beautiful, white women. “And he’s like ‘man, if I had known it was going to blow up this big, I never would have …’”

Moore said he never asked his friend to finish his sentence or say what he meant. Frazee was arrested for Berreth’s murder on Dec. 21, 2018.

ITA! I am so disappointed in ID right now, and that’s hard for me to admit because I’m an ID addict.

Why yes! I cannot think of another example of such a thing. Comparable would have been if a MSM source had stated at one time during the wait periods that LS or FD or PF had been cleared - could you imagine the hub-bub?

Is that post still up? Has anyone reached out to ID? Has ID doubled down- what’s the latest on their mini SM video?

MOO-

Regarding search warrants and searching the family home, this MSM article says that the house is being held but that there is no search underway. Should I understand that to mean LE does not yet have a SW but has somehow barred entry to the home anyway or that LE does have a SW but simply hasn't started the search? Or something else?

"Her family is not being allowed to enter the house....While there was no active search Tuesday, the sheriff’s office said investigators were following up on tips and conducting interviews."

Authorities cordon off home of missing Chaffee County woman | FOX31 Denver

I don't know if the answer means anything either way, I'm mostly just curious. TIA
Four hours later they updated the article, I guess you missed it...

"Correction: An earlier version of this story stated investigators are searching the home. While the house is cordoned off, authorities would not confirm whether it is being searched."

Search warrants need to be signed off on. They may take some time.
