Found Deceased CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #38

PE guys just said BM met AM and other searchers at the property line for the Morphew residence with a shotgun on his shoulder and told them they were about to cross private property and they knew they weren't allowed to do that.

Clearly, the man is all in on searching for his wife.

There's nothing he won't do to find her.

Except helping the people actually trying to find her.

I wonder if he reminded them there's a 200k reward for her safe return.

JMO.

Barry is a piece of work. What in the world makes him think he can threaten the very people searching for his wife? May Suzanne be found, but even if she isn't, may LE have enough evidence to arrest BM, pronto!!!

My heart aches for SM's daughters and family. What must be going through their minds as they realize BM can't be bothered to help search, but stands on his property with a gun, warning folks to stay off his land.

I need to ask a question and hope someone can help me. How would i best go about uploading pics to thread? I usually run into a error msg as file too big to upload. I have no pics yet, but will tomorrow. Would like to figure out tonight how to best share images.

The easiest way that I’ve found is to send the photos from my camera roll to myself in Facebook Messenger.

Messenger automatically resizes the photos and then I re-save them and upload them here.

I confess I haven't been following closely, just popping in here and there. I see that LE hasn't officially named anyone a POI - seems that a certain someone thinks he may be getting away with something...can't believe he's bullying searchers looking for his missing wife because they are getting close to their property.

Even if not, I hope LE gets a new Search warrant to scour over all his land tomorrow because of the way he is acting could indicate he is trying to hide something. Sounds like a good enough reason to me for a judge to allow a new search warrant.

I honestly don’t believe SM’s remains are on the Morphew property. I’m also not surprised by BM’s adversarial position against searchers near his property. Predictable. IMO

Barry was at his house/property today and was putting up trail cameras with a shot gun and Andy said that he told the searchers that they were getting to near his property. Per PE right now.

I'm a lot older than Suzanne but my daughters are the same age as hers. My heart genuinely aches for them. I pray they have someone other than BM to keep them safe.

On another note ; BM can certainly prevent people from going on his property to look for Suzanne or evidence-- but he can't bar them from being next to his property and making a visual inspection !
I'm sure LE are interested in his reactions , since they've been busy ruining BM's life and all that....
Nothing like making it obvious how much you care about your wife.

Tbh, I feel like LE would've already found her if she was anywhere on that property.
Trying not to get my hopes up too much only to have them dashed, but that's a smaller concern compared to how her brother is feeling.

But what if something else was found that proves BM was busy hiding/burying things ?
What reason could he come up with ?
You know he'll make up something, like LE 'planted it' or some flimsy excuse.
Imo.

How did he know for sure they weren't coming home early?

To help answer.

Yes he could have checked in with them at any time over that weekend to see how the camping was going with the alterior motive of finding out they were still no where close to being home.

Also if I am not mistaken, I believe one of BM's female relatives went camping with the girls so BM had a way to make a call or text to that person as well.
