great post, and I totally agree.
And since it appears BM has gone off the deep end whether through drugs or alcohol or poor
character or judgement, it makes me wonder how many other times SM rescued him from himself over the years?
As I've mentioned before, so many times I've observed the "good wife" who kept the bad boy husband on the straight and narrow. She became the wise mother over her errant son.

Then he offs the goose that laid the golden egg.
Where would BM be today, had he not had SM
to monitor and steer his behavior all these years?
I'm guessing, in prison. Moo

I wonder if he means she was abducted, taken somewhere against her will and killed there?

If this were the case the bleach smell in the house and the hotel could be from barry cleaning evidence off himself maybe he did that twice, once at the house and again at the hotel to be extra careful.

I think you meant “trips” but the “strips” typo made me LOL because I could picture that too! :D
Oh goodness noooo! LOL!!! Well, I can't change it now.
Oops!

And yet he saw no such need when, he claims, he was under threat from an angry drug addict (paraphrased) when he, his wife and children were living in the house
Better yet, when his wife disappeared and a chance someone took her. He, his girls & Mom were in the home, he was supposedly out looking for Suzanne daily. No concern for the women at home alone then?

Oh wait, maybe the home security cameras were working again ...

but, but why the bleach smell in the house?
otherwise I like your theory.
Yes, the bleach. How could I forget about that?

Now that's an interesting thought! I have to assume LE went over that property with a fine tooth com & dogs, right?

Yes. They did.

Multiple times.

I'll be beyond flabbergasted if she's anywhere on that property.

I don't think there's any way LE would have missed her.

She may be close.

But she ain't there.

JMO.

I think the article opened with a typo. key word omitted.

I [don't] think she was abducted.
I don't think a mountain lion got her.

JMO
Was just thinking the same, one key word left out

news is coming in fast, and the thread's starting to boogie, so sorry if this has been posted, but info about the texts in this one.

Search continues for missing Colorado mother. (The Gazette)

"A friend spoke to Morphew over social media the day she went missing about an upcoming wedding, some hours later she made several posts that family and friends said were "out of character," according to the organization helping to lead search efforts."
Yeah, I think that was definitely Barry logging onto her account, looking for information about her last communication or impersonating her.

It really does feel that way. I have to think that LE has done a fantastic job of letting BM twist in the wind all this time. His actions will help convince a jury of his guilt.
You old sleuthers have reminded us that we will be astonished when the AA is released by the evidence. I'm already feeling a little astonished this morning. I hope it's an indication that an arrest is near. Moo
This is such a classic case of giving a person enough rope to hang himself. MOO

BBM And there it is - Confirmation of Domestic Abuse - this is what we have all speculated was happening. The only reason SM would be working Domestic Abuse Meetings was because of her own circumstances. This is so disturbing to see in black and white. He would have never consentEd to just letting her walk away! MOO

Praying today is the day something huge breaks!
LE knows all about this - and may have already on Mother’s Day. Thus, explaining why they didn’t buy the bike theory.

I have always thought that they knew from the very beginning exactly what they were dealing with and who was responsible.

PSA

Women, please don't keep your relationships/marriages secret. The person you might think you're protecting isn't likely protecting you. Good or bad, confide in someone.

Someday that person might be the only voice you have left.

500 volunteers are giving Suzanne a voice today.

Loud and clear.

Thanks for clearing that up, @Megnut !
As I'd said, it didn't appear that LE thought there was any abduction.
That is a big typo for an article, if that's what happened.
Imo.

interview with andy (fox31)

"she was abducted saturday, not sunday, i don't think she got on her bicycle, if you want the truth of the matter. i expect she's somewhere in the mountains."

"do you think her husband did it? 'i think it's a strong possibility.' "

BM will have a great problem now with publicly shown as an abusing husband, if not also responsible for Suzanne's disappearing/murder. IMO
Serves him right! :(
Yup, the Big Cat's outta the bag.
Barry the abuser.
Barry the Wife Disappearer
Barry the Inheritance stealer
Barry the shotgun toting Cray Cray chasing off searchers looking for his love of his life.
Sure are great optics today in Salida.

This is confusing
Honestly, I can imagine that if someone flung a bike downhill, it could land in that position after tumbling. Once it hit the tree. During this case, I’ve often thought about that criminal in Ohio. J. Worley was his name, I think. His MO was to disable female biker riders and kidnap them. I think once he bumped a woman with his car, and another time he whacked a woman on the head. In one of those cases, he took the time to hide her bike in a nearby cornfield. Anyway, I think a bike could land in a strange position if it had been tossed. I’d be interested to know what the extent of the damage was.

I am grateful for a wonderful husband and have to ask this question. If suzanne were attending dometic abuse meetings, are the people who run these meetings under any obligation to let law enforcement know who is there or are they completely confidential? Could this be one of the reasons why LE went straight to not believing an accident? Would they be allowed by their code of profession to say anything to LE after something did happen to Suzanne? I am thinking maybe any abuse was mental/verbal/financial because with her recent chemotherapy any physical abuse would have been evident to her doctors I would guess? I am not saying that this kind of abuse is any worse than physical, just not visible. I loathe this man and what I think he did. MOO

So she was already being abused in some fashion in that 'marriage'. :(
Mentally, physically, psychologically... we don't know
.

RS&BBM
Or the other very common form of domestic abuse - financial abuse?
