This was discussed at length, when it was first reported.
Numerous members in various faith traditions attempted to decipher the logic behind it.
We more or less came to the conclusion (IIRC), there isn't any logic behind it, without BM himself explaining what he meant.

Thanks. I don’t recall others describing it as a normal thought process, as @ChuckMaureen has, so I hoped @ChuckMaureen had some insight to share

Yeah-- I am not trying to bash LE but WTH ??
They should have been searching down there at river front while they were already digging on the property.
After this interview, the very first thing LE should have done is go out there and start digging.
Or at least inquired about getting a search warrant and spoke to the owners who had already previously approved searching.
Why didn't LE do that ???
I am so glad Andy has FBI and CBI with him --
JMO but I think the local LE are in way over their head.
LE already searched multiple locations on that property, with the assistance of the FBI and CBI, for three days. They did not provide any details about the search but they may have used search dogs there already. All we know is that they used GPR, which was stated by a neighbor.

I'm sure they will investigate this lead and if they decide it is significant, they will follow through. I would think they would want to confirm the alert with one of their own, active search dogs. It could have been a false alarm.

I tend to lean toward the idea that the dogs smelled tiny remnants from the Bobcat having been used elsewhere. But really, I do hope he was crazy enough to bury her there.

It sure has been creepily quiet. I wish this was over with.

Agree.
Don't think SM is there. But dogs alerted to something.
Mystery

Barry is what I think of as inarticulate. More of a grunter than communicator. Imprecise and trails off in half sentences. Works with the visual of that Silverback gorilla I get when I see him walk and swing his arms.

JMO, this might actually not be a religious reference, think about saving someone from drowning but drowning themselves.
I believe it is falling in place now, and much of BMs splaining WILL make sense, JMO

Thanks. I don’t see the equivalence but thank you for trying to help me understand. I’ll leave it now.

Why would anyone else than BM would feel the need to stage anything? The only reason to stage a scene is to direct the attention to somewhere else, to distance oneself from the crime(scene). No abductor would feel the need of staging, it just doesn’t make any sense IMO
MOO, when it all comes out, I believe all the tiny little bits and pieces will fall into place... sadly, none of it is going to bring SM back.

Yes. Mostly concentrated around the Salida area, but there are searchers well North and East of there.
Does it show specifics? North ,East?

Gunnison to the West

Penrose to the East

Fairplay to the North

Denver and Platteville to the Northeast.

I'm pretty sure all septic systems require a tank, the solids need to decompose before discharging. In other words the bacteria acts as a digestor inside the tank.

We live on a mountainside and have a tank that gets cleaned out every year. I’m pretty sure you need a tank to store all the slush so it breaks down.

I agree! I wish this could be nicely wrapped up with Barry headed to jail.
Respectfully, I’d prefer the guilty party headed to jail. BM. hasn’t even been named POI by LE.

It’s my understanding the picture being used in the media of Andy & Suzanne in front of the Christmas tree was taken this past Christmas.
Thank you.
No offense, how can you be sure? It is MY understanding that anyone can post anything and label it as such on
FB. I don't need the use of FB in my life.
I'm not sure how this past Christmas date has been proven. Unless it comes definitively from Andy.

We don’t know that they didn’t search that area. Dogs are not infallible, so it’s possible they did and just didn’t hit. It’s also possible that yesterday’s hit is meaningless.

MG’s tv interview should not have come as news to LE. She had already been interviewed multiple times, and I think it’s probable that what she told them was a partial basis for that 3 day search (strange behavior by BM).

The FBI evidence response team took charge of that search, and I get the impression that CBI and FBI are taking a very active role here. I think local LE is taking a back seat, although it’s still their investigation.

I agree. An investigation is like an iceberg, only about 1/10 of it is visible to the eye. CBI and FBI are no fools. If we think we spitball ideas based on nothing more than gut instinct, I can guarantee that any theories bandied about by LE are bolstered by facts that we may not be privy to.

Law enforcement rarely names a POI these days. Their actions tell us who the person likely is though.

Couldn’t be more clear here, IMO.

Right. Dogs may not have alerted in May. Tim Miller cautions about taking dogs as infallible.
They cannot be used to eliminate an area (think VG) but dogs do have a good record on positive finding.

Hope it all adds up to something.
