Gunnison to the West

Penrose to the East

Fairplay to the North

Denver and Platteville to the Northeast.
So what does that tell you?

Sadly, seems many of you are becoming Colorado experts now, between the three cases of the Watts, KB and SM.
do not forget Gannon Stauch!

Sometimes dogs miss the mark, but more times Than not, they hit the mark. JMO

IMO dogs always 'hit their mark' as the perfect creatures they are, even when being so very naughty and even if those dedicated K9 HRD don't always get the scent. Angels in fur suits.

Anyone else feel like it’s been suspiciously quiet today?

No Tweets from the PE crew at all.
Yes!! Too quiet. Hopefully, things are happening behind the scenes that will bring Suzanne home.

I thought PE said last night that some things would not be aval. On the map as it now would show where items were found. They did not want everyone to see that info. Is what I think I heard

Here's my take on that whole 'off property' conversation (for what it's worth).

On the latest PE video, I believe AM said he spoke with the neighbors of the property under construction and he asked if he could go through their lot to access the river's edge. They agreed. He then started snooping around the waters edge in front of the house under construction (probably with the dog and handler as well). At some point he went beyond the high water mark and actually stepped on to the property under construction (I assume the dog and handler did as well.)

He later mentioned he had got chewed out by LE. I took that to mean they gave him heck for searching private property without permission. The moment he stepped past the high water mark on to the construction property he went out of bounds. Hence his comment that he went on someone's property he shouldn't have.

AM didn't seem too concerned about it though. It was an honest mistake he said. His mind is on finding his sister.

That's what I got out of that conversation. JMO.

If that's what AM did, he was very poorly advised. Guaranteed public access below the high water mark is common law in many states, but in Colorado it is only applicable to navigable rivers, which the Arkansas at Salida is not. Literally every LE officer in Colorado is an expert on trespass laws, and I don't consider it wise for anyone to test their knowledge. IMO

I believe there will be an update tonight, even though nothing's been announced yet. They know there's a large audience following the case and last night they said they were going to try to get Andy M. to a place with good Internet connectivity. And, if nothing else, good Internet connectivity is such a rarity in the Salida area without dedicated satellite service, I want to witness this miraculous connectivity.

Unless I’m looking at this incorrectly, there are no Trackers on ArcGIS Explorer at this point and not sure for how long today. Or the Trackers are hidden from view for some reason. Please look at the slider button next to Trackers under the Layers menu - it says September 26 only. If you turn that off, no trackers are Visible on the map. Tracks only are visible. Hope this makes sense...

Here is a screenshot of the app I’m using on my iPad. I checked each “person” showing on the map, they ARE volunteer searchers dated today.

Who cares? He’s looking for the body of his murdered sister. Getting yelled at by cops is a non-event.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I think it would be a bad look for any Colorado LE for Andy to be the only arrest they have in reference to Suzanne’s case.

YES, I just checked twitter and facebook and all the social media. After all the excitement yesterday I thought we'd get something but crickets....its unnerving

Crickets.
MOO, loose lips sink ships.

I wonder if silence occurs due to a renewed emphasis on confidentiality and case integrity. This is something that Tim Miller from Texas Equusearch emphasizes heavily. For example, he is adamant in certain instances that search locations are not revealed.

For such a serious case, your comment made me laugh and that’s a good thing today. I needed that. His own arrest would be the LAST thing on Andy’s mind if he found his sister.
