I’m waiting to hear from Andy before jumping to conclusions

I’m also now speculating that “5” could be short hand for “5 O” ... police
Maybe he's calling out someone who used to be a cop ...

omg the tree exists!
color me surprised!
that plot looked barren to me.

Andy is not on PE live because he is at BM new property "checking out a tree"

ETA: cadaver dog hit on this tree twice
View attachment 265859

Anybody know what kind of trees those two scrawny ones are, behind it, at about 11:00 and 15:00...
are those small leaves, or shrivelled-up leaves?
Aspen saplings, maybe?

Odd to plant them all quite so close together, when you'd anticipate them growing much larger. They'd really crowd each other, wouldn't they?
But what do i know....

And the retired Sherriff from a neighboring county commenting early on that his gut tells him this is more than a domestic violence type of murder.

The more I revisit that quote, the more it rings true.
Agree 100%.

Investigator explains FBI's involvement in Chaffee County missing woman case - KRDO
It's something that's caught the attention of former Pueblo County Sheriff and now Private Investigator Dan Corsentino.

"It seems to me there is something more driving this case that none of us know about at this point in time," he said.

Without much to go off of, he says his past in law enforcement leads him to believe there are unusual circumstances.

"This case is going to be something more than I think a family-related case. That's just my gut instinct," Corsentino said.

I don’t think Mike and Chris lied on PR tonight, Chris talked to Andy. That’s how we got this information. LE not helping Andy. No search warrants. And Andy not leaving town yet.

Put it this way...if the guys on PE lied tonight they will lose all of their viewership. That is not their goal.

Some have suggested the dogs are picking up a scent from machinery used on those sites, such as the bobcat. If a body came into contact with the blade or whatever it is, the scent might be detected wherever it was used after that. That's one possibility.
Then wouldn't the bobcat still get a hit?

According to Chris on PE, LE hasn’t told Andy anything since he came to town. Pitiful
I can believe this as Andy has only quoted FBI talking to him about this.
And I now think Andy was being polite when he said he came because local LE ran out of money.
I'll bet he wanted to say a lot more.
It still bothers me about the local sheriff pulling out his direct support the first day of the search.

MOO CM was truly infuriated.

Andy said he knows a lot of what the FBI knows. I wonder if he got a sense of futility from them, ie that there just is no evidence. (Otherwise why would they tell him anything?)
If his 100% main goal is to locate his Sis , and he doesn't worry about losing possible justice for her, I don't see that he has a choice but to make a stink.

His other choice is to tuck his tail, go home, and hope (maybe for the rest of his life) that LE really is putting together some super operation.

btw- can I be very generously pointed to where the conversation of AM referencing the 3 & 1/2 window discussion is.....?

Where on earth did he get that? and starting at what time...to what time??

TIA....I'm figuring plenty of discussion has occurred on him saying he 'knew' that this happened in this time frame.....

I've been trying to hold out to post until an arrest: alas: :(

I need to catch up on how/why/when/where/who that AM could "KNOW" that SM disappeared within a 3 & 1/2 hour time window much less WHEN that time window was.... TIA

I wanna here if LE searched the tree or not and the beach area.

Sorry if something similar has been asked, I'm so far behind.

In a scenario like today, where dogs hit on a spot, but no remains were found (I want to exclude doggo error in my question :)) would that imply a person's scent had been there, but was moved? or would the smell not be strong enough for positive hits at that point?

Not implying anything directly to Suzanne. Today's headlines just got me thinkin'. TIA :)
It's not that remains weren't found -- it's that the police have refused to dig! We have no idea who's buried there because they will not process the scene.

I didn’t watch PE tonight. Kinda glad I didn’t.

Based on everyone’s posts, Andy’s somewhere unknown standing guard over a pitiful tree and a pile of rocks that looks like something out of the Blair Witch Project.

Someone said it last night.
This is feeling like the Twilight Zone.

Maybe Andy should hire this PI ?

Let's walk this through logically step by step.

Local LE, i.e, the CCSO, signaled very early on that they did not believe that SM had disappeared herself.
LE also publicly dismissed the idea that a mountain lion had attacked her.

If local LE wasn't on the up-and-up, they would have embraced the bike ride story, and concluded that she most likely had either wandered off into the woods injured and then succumbed to her injuries, or been attacked and carried off by that mountain lion seen in the area.

They would have done a few token searches, and then that would have been that.
Case closed.

That wasn't the CCSO's behavior here, though.

Instead, Sheriff Spezze called in BOTH the CBI AND the FBI very early on in the investigation.
He also mustered a vast array of resources from surrounding cities, counties, etc., as well as non-LE organizations, including, more recently, Necrosearch.

They searched the home on multiple occasions.
They dug up a foundation on a separate piece of private property.

If someone wants to explain to me why a LEA that had no interest in finding a missing woman and/or for some unknown reason wanted to coverup that crime would actively solicit the involvement of all these numerous outside agencies to assist them in their investigation, I'm all ears.

All ears.

Just make sure the explanation makes sense.

JMO.

I wondered about that, too. If evidence was discovered on private property without the owner's permission for them to be there, would it still be allowed in a trial?
Chris mentioned that very thing tonight. He said Andy is not held to the same requirements as LE. Intimating that Andy can suss it out (on personal property), and then LE can get a warrant and search. JMO.

Only until tomorrow then Andy leaves and it is all swept under a rock.
The PE guys said that Andy would stay longer if needed (paraphrasing). I got the impression that Andy was going to stay there at least a few more days. MOO

Hi everyone. I just watched the latest P.E. Based on that show, I am hearing that Andy is camped out on Barry's property, do I have that right? And if he had to work with the landowner, that landowner is Barry?
