I am soooo onboard with this. What’s the 1 thing that would guarantee these 3 workers show up? A ton of money. Like an unusually large, can’t say no, amount of money.

That data point with all of the other inconsistencies turns the hinkey meter up to 11.
3 workers + 1 400 tour good friend + BM= 5 as mentioned many posts back. Just seems that these 5 names keep rising to the top. 5 pieces of a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle.

I agree with you. I'm taking all of this in but am not running with it as fact. Some info I'm keeping in my own timeline. I have completely thrown out the text with the friend info, for now, as an example.

LE has really only confirmed a few things in this case. I do however think some folks with bits and pieces of maybe factual info talked to AM, because he's SM's brother. I'm sure he got alot closer to the case during his recent time in CO. I think all of this info has been known to LE for months and probably documented in what I'm assuming is a LARGE running case file on SM. IMO
I do have a question for the legal people, what guardianship would need GMs approval?

Were sandwich shops even open on May 9th because of covid restrictions?

If not (which I think is the case) this would point towards the 4pm sighting being the Poncha Market as they could be open as a gas station and just not be serving food due to restrictions.

Does Poncha Market have video? Could they have caught SM & BM stopping to fill up with gas and then go who knows where?

And depending on it being security video, and maybe “SM” not getting out of the car, are we sure that is even SM and not another woman?

So
Many
Questions

Do not get me started about Poncha Market video. It’s a sore spot.

At one point, Andy said that her texting stopped at 8 am.... he said he believed "Saturday morning, she was gone."

Now Andy says she was seen on Saturday at 4, buying a sandwich.

What changed?

What changed is ANDY WAS BRIEFED by FBI and CSI before he left town.

(I still think it's possible the sighting was a misspeak and was Friday.)

What we can take as gospel is that BM was indeed on the road and on his phone at 4 am. Midnight to 4 am, where was he?

Anyone over the age of 22 keeping his secrets needs to come forward.

Many events happened after the taping IMO

I've been trying to put myself in the shoes of BM's Broomfield work crew.

MG noted that BM was ready acting weird at the Salida job site on Saturday morning.

JP was offered "good money" for a last minute job. How good? Unbelievably good?

BM contacts worker at 4am on Mother's Day, trying to get the job going.

MG says he sounds like he just had the worst night of his life.

They arrive to find a hodgepodge of useless tools in a chlorine infused hotel room.

BM had not prepped the job or ordered blocks.

BM has left due to a family emergency.

At what point do they start to feel something is fishy?
Do they reach out to any locals for information?
Or do they not start to put two and two together until BM tells them that Suzanne is missing?

Did BM honestly think that these workers were going to fall in line and help him make his fake alibi believable? Because the money was so good? Was it really hush money after all?
Moo of course.
Also, according to MG, BM calls them on Monday morning “crying” about SM being missing. He tells them to stay there and wait for materials for the job to be delivered. He never asked them to come and help search for his wife. We don’t know when or if there was another conversation between BM and his workers. MG says they sat around until Tuesday and they still hadn’t received the proper tools or machinery. They decided to return to Salida. When they did, BM apparently found out because he sent TN and GD to talk to MG about hush money and (not) turning her phone over to LE. I don’t know if these two messengers also spoke with JP and the third worker.
If MG’s statements are true, BM did not want these witnesses back in town and he evidently thought there was something incriminating on MG’s phone. There was! The broken alibi! He was not at home with his sleeping wife at 5:00 a.m. He was on the road at 4:00 a.m. talking to MG. Even if he destroyed his own phone or a burner, MG’s will tell LE a lot that they needed to know. She turned her phone over either Tuesday or Wednesday and had at least one interview with LE. When BM found out, he fired her. Imagine his rage when he realized this woman might be his downfall? No wonder she left town.
He has since labeled her as a meth head.
MOO

BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Long time lurker, first time poster here. There has been so much great information and opinions shared - I thought maybe it was time to make the jump and join the conversation?

Out of many things that have bugged me about this case, I still can't understand the timing of the move to Colorado. One child was in last years of HS...I can't imagine moving at that time in a child's life unless you had to? Also, the sale arrangement of the Indiana house.....seems like there may have been some sort of urgency to move on?

I know sleuthing of the business is not allowed, but I can't help but think things may not have been as they seemed (financially). And someone may not have wanted this information to be revealed during any potential divorce proceedings...all speculation, my opinion only.

Given the logo on the shirt that JP is wearing in the press photos, I wonder if a second round of firing happened for the employees of BM that also worked for other Chaffee Co. companies.

I think some wrongful termination suits would dig up a lot of interesting things.

I wish we knew where that information came from. If SM was caught on security camera inside a sandwich shop vs. a witness verbal tip, makes a big difference.

The timeline I really feel is credible, Suzanne was killed and her body hidden between O' dark-thirty Saturday May 9th and four am on Sunday, May 10th.

I agree. Also, if the Poncha Market has been forthcoming about BM digging in the trash and writing that note on the 12th, why wouldn’t they mention the visit on the 9th?

I'll also mention given the wall failure was his fault (I assume), the job would be a freebie/go back. So it wasn't like he was making money twice. Offering a large sum to re-work the wall makes no business sense at all.

There has been some speculation that the wall job wasn't even scheduled. Lauren was going to report her findings, but then whatever happened with her preempted that report. I wonder if we will ever learn the truth? Hopefully another linkable source picks that piece of the story up and reports.

Nevertheless, we have to decide whether to take his comments as evidence, or simply his musings aloud, it’s possible he doesn’t realize that everything he says is taken as the absolute truth.
I remain reluctant to follow his timeline until LE verifies it.
I may have missed the texting from his truck at 4am Sun. Surely MG would have mentioned this....?
I'm sure she did during the five interviews she had with LE, IMO.

Ha. Forgot about that.

But I guess we know they have video. But if anything was done with the video is a different question.

I have my doubts the sandwich tip came from Poncha Market.

We have two reports from the employees there. First the note BM left, then later the employee who saw him digging in the dumpster. Seems they have no issue putting what they saw out there.

Way back in the beginning I remember something about Suzanne picking up lunch. There was a map pin somewhere and we talked about the restaurant location as the location didn't seem to be accurate. Anyone else remember that?

Premeditation or not?
If BM was in town with SM at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, did he speak to JP about the Broomfield job before or after 4:00 p.m.?
According to JP, he met BM in town on Saturday afternoon and that is when he was lined up for the job on Sunday.

Did Dr. Phil say who verified the sighting at the sandwich shop? Is it the same person who said they thought they saw SM in the car early on, but it turned out not to be Suzanne? Maybe eventually LE verified it was her and that's what they meant when they said the last time she was seen was later than they thought?

I wonder if AM ever looked into the claims by BM that Suzanne was seen by two people on Sunday.

Yes, I think we determined it was a generic pin placed on the map when the town of Salida was mentioned as being the place she had picked up lunch.
