@Ontario Mom posted this quote earlier when we began discussing the contents of the teasers

02:52
He said he saw her at five a.m. and he did not.
And how do you know that?
Testimony from an employee
that he was rambling down the road
texting people at four in the morning
trying to get them to go to Broomfield
.
Can't be at home at five.
And talking to somebody on the road at four?
Right.
So the timeline doesn't add up at all?
No, not at all.
---------------
mmmhmm...

Wow. So he's driving towards somewhere (Broomfield? somewhere else?) trying to get a ride to Broomfield? I thought he was trying to get workers to go to Broomfield?

The direct quote from AM to Dr. Phil is (as @MassGuy and @Ontario Mom clarified upthread):

AM: "He said he saw her at 5am, and he did not."

Dr. Phil: "And how do you know that?"

AM: "Testimony from an employee that he was rambling down the road, texting people at four in the morning trying to get them to go to Broomfield."

My money is on him having disposed of Suzanne's body before midnight, if it was BM doing weird things with her facebook at around midnight.

I can't imagine him thinking about social media with a dead body still in the house or in his truck. It would leave a scent the longer it was there, plus he could have been discovered by the girls coming back early to surprise Suzanne for Mother's Day. I think the facebook activity was more than likely an attempt to bring other individuals into the picture for his planned abduction story for the next day, as if Suzanne set up her own fate.

Andy’s interpretation of the 27 second video.

“Well, if that were true, he’d be sitting here, talking to you.”

Dr. Phil hates his body language.

Haaaa. Producer got Barry on the phone, and was told that he’s not ready to talk yet.

“Why is he not out there climbing hills with you?”
bbm
What the heck ?
Even NOW it's "too soon" ?

I thought it was bad when BM first said this, or had the sentiment conveyed from the TN route.
What a failure this BM is.

BM want's us to think she was kidnapped, or a mountain lion attacked her, or that she had an accident and somehow "got herself into the river".
His faux and revolting "grief" is too much to be able to share anything about her or for people to help look for her.
But he'll be happy to take your money via the crowd funding effort.

He has succeeded in one thing.
He is a baaad actor.
Smdh.
Imo.

Highlighted and BBM

"Testimony?" That's a very specific word and to me it implies the person gave that info to LE in a formal interview, not a chat between buds.

ItA.
Two things.
1. He doesn't have a clue how he comes across to others. That's how he's made.
2. Those papers were very important to him. Motive, money.
Moo
3. He referred to Suzanne in the past tense as if he KNEW she was dead and not just incapacitated in some way.
MOO
Correct incapacitated 3x!

The clip in the media thread has AM saying

"he was rambling down the road texting people at 4 in the morning trying to get them to go to Broomfield"

That makes more sense and it also is sounding more and more that the whole Broomfield "thing" was alibi building. The more workers he could get up there, the more it would look like he had legitimate business and work that was going on.

Too bad everyone that showed up in Broomfield were not given the proper tools to do the job and they seemed just as confused as we are now.

I’d be stunned if that didn’t occur last minute on Sunday.
Yes he needed somewhere to cleanup other than the house.

  • #289
And begs to the simple question I wish that AM had shared. What date was the hotel room reserved? It is SUCH a simple question and I just cannot figure out why that isn't known/shared to her brother.

It that simple info wasn't shared... I wonder what else is only through rumor or previous MSM to AM's ears.
bbm
Agreed.
I am also somewhat skeptical of the sandwich shop sighting at 4pm on Sat.

I think he needed an alibi more than anything.

His wife goes on a bike ride, and is kidnapped. He’s not involved, because he’s hours away working on a job.

^^ RSBBM

Yes. I really don't see JP giving DM the story where JP says that he's struggling to find work because he's a convicted felon, recently released from prison (as alleged by BM) and a friend of his (MG) put him in contact with BM to ask him for an opportunity. I think Saturday was more or less an interview, and why BM allegedly gave MG the OK to contact JP about working in Broomfield. It follows that this is also why JP followed up with BM on Sunday to confirm the
job offer. MOO
On Sunday morning at 4:00 am JP followed up with BM to see if the job offer was still a go? Isn't that when AM says BM was texting frantically to his employees? IMO

Seems to me LE determined BM was hitting cell towers at 4 AM which is said impossible from his residence.

I believe the theory is that BM did not leave home at 5 AM to travel to Denver because he was texting at 4 AM. Morphew residence is said to have no cell coverage and they are dependant on their internet for fb messenger and/or imessages to communicate from home.

Boxing him into his timeline.
So Barry, when did you leave on Mother’s Day to head up to Broomfield? I left at 5 am. And my wife was sleeping in bed.
So Barry, how come your truck GPS and cell phone places you on the road at least an hour earlier, calling your workers? Oh I must be confused, my wife is missing and I’m so upset.
How many lies did they catch him in? The mechanical bobcat thing, which he knew he screwed up. Timing. Was there a job in Broomfield? When was it planned?

  • #293
Yeah, how did he take all the tools out of his truck if he didn't drive to the hotel in it?
Ita.
I thought 'rambling down the road ' meant driving slowly and texting.
Poor driving habits to do that.
But that's the least of this idiot's worries at the moment.

Ditto.

I'm actually leaving that sammy sighting completely off my mental timeline.

Color me dubious.

The fact that dubious isn't a color, notwithstanding.

I reckon the fb thing was probably his attempt to say she had lost her mind, adding all these random folks, she fancied a new man/back home. Of COURSE she's now ran off with a new man etc (when the lion was utterly laughable)

He truly makes me feel sick, I look at their photos together and they make me smile, they look so happy.

I'll join you on this.

As for dubious, I'm getting like a muted mauve vibe? Or perhaps a taupe with flecks of amber?

That's what I understood it to mean too, but I'm Scottish so thought I took it wrong.

Do we know for a fact he was on the road to Denver when he was madly texting? Or could he have been texting from someplace closer to home to make it appear he was doing something normal.

The texts Chris Watts made while at Cervi burying Shan’ann come to mind.

No, you’re right, we don’t know where he was. According to
the reports this morning though, he was “on the road”. Sounds like you could tell he was driving. Unless wherever he was at 4:00 a.m. was close enough to run home, see SM sleeping, and leave again for Broomfield at 5:00 a.m., methinks he may be caught in a lie.
Hopefully he wasn’t disposing of his wife while he was madly texting.
Those snoopy digital forensics investigators should be able to nail this down.
