100% agree. Last year, when my little sister was killed, I was going nonstop for a week. Everything was thrown on me to handle because my mother could not function, plus dealing with the tragedy with her young boys. I would certainly hate for someone to judge me on my appearance that week.

I can’t fathom what her brother must be going through, and I definitely can not judge him on his appearance. What I can say about him is that I think he’s a brave soul that has taken on a monumental task of trying to find his sister.
JMO.

So sorry, to hear about your sister, Gigi.:(:(:(
As you found, we can achieve a great deal, during such times, due to adrenaline helping us.
Similarly with AM, he worked so hard during the search as so important.
Now, he waits for LE.

Perhaps with loads of evidence collected over time, a case may be forming for an arrest.

Another interesting note from the latest NG podcast.

Chris believed that Andy was in fact told by CBI that Barry refused a polygraph and computer voice stress analysis, as Andy asked him “what’s a CVSA?” That’s an acronym only a cop would use.

As we all know, Barry claimed he wasn’t even offered one. Lauren says that she’s talked to several employees, and they were all asked to take one.

The point being here, Barry is a lying liar who lies.

There’s just no way they wouldn’t ask him to take those tests.
I agree, especially at the start of a case when time is really of the essence. LE would have wanted to clear those they could quickly... and keep note of who couldnt/wouldnt make an effort to clear themselves. There's no way he wasnt asked in one of those famous 30-hour interviews. 6 months later and homeboy still hasnt been cleared and he doesnt seemed concerned LE isnt looking for another perpetrator, which is just an amateur move on his part.

I just hope GM will be around to testify at trial some day. Otherwise this statement won’t likely be admitted. It is hearsay but there is an exception if GM testifies, in that it is a statement by BM. However if GM is not around to testify and be cross examined, it would likely be excluded under the rules of evidence.
I hope LE be it CBI, FBI or local sheriff gets a sworn affidavit from GM as quickly as possible. It could be a good document to have in your play book. Even though he is very ill as her Father I feel like he would use his last breath to help SM in any way possible. She deserves Justice.

I think this will be minor in the grand scheme of things. It just serves as evidence to us, that Barry is one cold SOB.

It shows that he’s worried about one thing, money.

There’s another short NG podcast up. This one is only 11 minutes long.

According to Chris, Barry called Gene not long after Suzanne went missing. He said “Gene, you know I loved your daughter. It doesn’t look like she’s coming back, but I need you to sign off on some guardianship paperwork.”

Gene responded, “what do you mean you LOVED my daughter?” Chris says this was a huge red flag to the Mormon family.

Mike goes on to talk about how strange Barry’s behavior is, and contrasts that with Elizabeth Smart’s father, who was leading the charge despite being viewed as a suspect.

BREAKING: Did Suzanne Morphew Hubby speak of missing wife in past tense just after disappearance?
They also said it was about 2 weeks after her going missing that BM called GM and asked him to sign papers for the guardianship.
Yet when this was published on June 5th the family member said they were unaware of it. I don't get whats going on.

A member of Suzanne Morphew’s family who spoke on the condition of anonymity said that Barry and Suzanne owned multiple rental properties in Indiana, and said they recalled Suzanne saying that the couple was planning on selling at least one of them. The family member said they were unaware of Barry Morphew’s petition for guardianship when CrimeOnline asked them to comment on the matter.

I just read a portion of the transcript (thank you for posting that @Moonchime ). I find the information regarding BM at the PS Market going through the trash and declaring “I’m looking for a baby blue helmet”, the first words out of his mouth? Then, the helmet is found two days later?

I have been frustrated by BM’s blatant transgressions and lies. Baffled that he is still playing the shell game with life and properties. I find this reassuring that there is much more to this story than the Swiss cheese we see.

I am confident that LE has a solid timeline and is working to solidify their case.

Maybe that family member was on the fringe so to speak. In other words, not Andy or Gene. That info was on a need to know basis at that time, JMO.

They would have been unaware. They probably thought it was a done deal when Gene said no, but Barry went another route.

He ultimately used his daughter to authorize it. So this probably did come as a shock.

Someone in the last thread mentioned an arrest warrant and then tonight I heard someone on YT talking about an arrest warrant, was someone arrested? TIA

Nope. Trust me, you’d know immediately if that had happened. There’s really nothing like it on here, especially when we’ve been waiting for months.

Yes, BM certainly did.
I have more thoughts about that but will post later.

Okay but why??? Am I missing something? It would make more sense if he was dropping her off or picking her up or knocked on her door or called/texted her that he was there. But MG said she heard the truck and knew it was BM and then he left which makes no sense to me. And is it just me that thinks it’s rude as **** to go to someone’s house unexpectedly and wake them up at 4 am unless it’s an emergency? I don’t care if it is your boss. And doesn’t she have a young child? I don’t know why I’m hung up on this one thing any more than any of the other weirdness going on but I obviously am. ;) Maybe it just sounds shady and incomplete.
Agree. And from the time the police interviewed MG they have known BM lied about his movements.
MGs phone becomes strong evidence of that.

This just came to me as I lay here *trying* to fall asleep. Maybe this has already been discussed. In fact I’m sure it has. But....

I think it’s entirely possible that Suzanne turned state’s witness. And is now in Witness Protection. And everyone including Barry, especially Barry has kept quiet in order to protect himself, and his girls, and perhaps both his and her extended families. And I also think that these quite potential possibilities would/could be calculated decisions by other family members to protect themselves (and maybe the hidden laundered money or even drugs....but I’m 95% leaning towards money).

just my .02. Or maybe it’s the Xanax. Who really knows....¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, LE wouldn’t obtain search warrants and actually search if the missing person was in the witness protection program.

As the FBI is involved that really can’t be a viable possibility.

That’s what I’m thinking. The same reporter had done a story on May 25 quoting relatives of SM and it couldn’t have been AM, imo.

‘We’re in the dark’: Missing Suzanne Morphew’s family waits and worries two weeks after Colorado mom’s mysterious disappearance [EXCLUSIVE]
The relative said that some of Suzanne’s family members, including at least one of Suzanne’s siblings and Barry Morphew’s mother — who Suzanne is reportedly close to — traveled to the area after Suzanne was reported missing. Suzanne’s own mother died of cancer years ago, and her father is believed to be living in Michigan

My utmost condolences, Gigi !
I wish you peace and comfort.

Agreed re. AM's appearance.
He was looking for his little sister's body.
And still was able to be on Dr. Phil to get further word out about Suzanne.
Unfathomable what someone has done to her family and daughters.
:(

How could they be unaware when GM was called about it about 2 weeks after she was reported missing. Then asked about it almost 5 weeks later they were unaware?
