SBR's from The Denver Channel, which is MSM, so we can definitely discuss this search that's happening at the location right now.

I think there's a very strong possibility that this search is based off of someone's digital/gps/electronic footprints.

Based on info gathered during the investigation, the CBI says authorities are searching an area east of Salida today, off Highway 50. The sheriff is not planning a press conference today. This is still considered a missing persons case, according to CBI just now. #SuzanneMorphew

Per Sillybilly and Colorado Herald - I used Google Earth to map SM house address and the intersection of 50/240 ... so I’m confused?

The Palmer Lake Herald is now The Colorado Herald on FB. Here is a post with a photo from about an hour ago...

There is an additional photo from another person in the comments.

At Highway 50 & 240, close to Suzanne Morphew’s home, there appears to be a heavy law enforcement presence, with several evidence trucks in tow.​

I would be inclined to believe the reporter as she seems to have spoken to LE

Regardless of 2 miles or 20 miles from Suzanne’s home, we know it’s related to the investigation. I’m sure we will be hearing a lot more information soon.

This is the problem with FB, so many cry wolf rumours you never know what to trust, it was only today somebody claimed the missing ohio girl maddie had been found which was a false rumour. Some locals may have legit info you just can never tell.

One interesting thing to me about this latest activity is it is more East again. From the very first searching that took place, they went slightly East for additional searches. Now today we are East again.

Not sure it means anything but it may tell us that after the perp took her (assuming she was taken) they went Eastward away from the home.

I can’t speak for when that Herald pic was taken but a google maps street shot from that area on HWY to me confirms to me it is off of Vandaveer Rd and CR 105 in Salida, Colorado.
